Prior to reading this review, I'd like to tell you that words and examples will not be able to…read morecompare to the amazing job Lauren and her team did for our wedding. This review is for her wedding day (day-of) coordination. Prior to the wedding, Lauren had provided us a general outline of things to consider and specific items that would need to be completed by a certain time (unfortunately, my husband and I were completely terrible with these deadlines, but Lauren slowly worked on this with us.) Every time we spoke on the phone (on SEVERAL occasions), she would always ask us how we were feeling and soothe our nerves when it came down to all the details. I am all about customer service and Lauren could not have been more polite, sincere, and heart warming! Still not convinced? Let me be more concrete in the examples in which Lauren and her team handled well: - The Cake: Four Seasons agreed to do a dairy-free cake for us since my husband is allergic to dairy products; however, without dairy, the cake turned out to be a disaster. The cake had to be sent back to the pastry chef four times and almost collapsed at one point! Lauren went to bat for us! She immediately contacted the Four Seasons coordinator and straightened everything out! We got a cake, received our money back for the wedding cake and a huge apology from Four Seasons. Of course, this was all behind the scenes and Lauren told me as soon as we were done taking pictures and everything was solved! Let me say, I love how Lauren handled this situation because she made sure that the situation was under control before notifying me AND she did not keep me out of the loop (yes, I was one of those brides that wanted to know if a disaster happened). - Timing: Weddings go by so quickly, Lauren was on top of her game when it came to each minute and the timeline of our schedule! I love how organized she was when it came down to our schedule. - The Wedding Dress: My beautiful satin wedding dress was unfortunately wrinkled during transportation. Lauren and her team were trying to steam it out to no avail. With time running out, she immediately handled it with the hotel and had my dress pressed and steamed within 20 minutes. - Presence: Lauren had several people on her team. While Lauren was consistently running around, she made sure that one of her assistants was with me and my girls at all times. Yes, so many things did not go according to plan at our wedding and only people like Lauren would be able to transform all these disasters into a beautiful wedding. While my husband and I were on a very strict and limited budget, my only regret is that we did not hire Lauren as a full wedding coordinator. Thank you so much Divine Events! Words will never be enough to thank you for all that you've done. STILL not convinced? Just meet with Lauren, I guarantee you'll fall in love with her!

We hired Lauren for the day of wedding coordination package and were more than pleased with the services she and her team provided. My husband and I had nearly 300 friends and family members in attendance for our special day. We were married at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center's James Irvine garden. We had our reception in the courtyard in front of the Japanese American Theater. The JACCC provided a wedding coordinator, but we had personality conflicts with her. Lauren was amazing and was able to communicate with the on-site coordinator and our vendors to make sure that everything ran smoothly on our special day. Lauren met with us prior to the wedding to make sure that we knew what we needed to have done. She also communicated with our bridal party and families to make sure they also knew when and where they needed to be. Overall, if information was needed, Lauren made sure it was communicated and done so clearly. The night before the wedding, I slept easily, because I knew that we were in good hands. Upon arriving at the wedding site to get ready, I felt confident that our wedding day was going to be everything we hoped for and more. Lauren and her team made sure to take care of everything they said they would and calmly handled any problems. They handled them so well that even a year and a half later, I don't know if anything went wrong. I recommend Lauren and her team to anyone that I hear is getting married. Any bride and groom would be lucky to have their special day in the hands of Lauren and her team at Divine Events!

We hired Falon to be our month-of coordinator for our wedding at Millwick in March 2023, and this…read moredefinitely was the best choice we could've made in our entire wedding planning process. Falon played a huge part in making our wedding event an incredible success, and she does it all with such a contagious effortlessness and coolness that you can't help but feel that everything is going to run smoothly no matter what while she is around. In the weeks before the wedding, while my partner and I were scrambling to make sure we had all of our logistics in order, she organized everything that needed to be done in a way that was easy to manage and coordinate, and it helped bring down our stress levels a lot. We could easily see that we were working with a master in this field, and her vast knowledge and experience in wedding planning was so helpful in guiding us making decisions throughout this entire process. She also made it so easy for us to communicate with her at any time with any questions we had, and she always responded quickly. On the day of the wedding, seeing Falon in action was an awe to behold. She took on the organization and setup of all the wedding decor, made sure that all the other vendors arrived on time and had everything they needed, and expertly managed the timeline of the day, making adjustments where needed to ensure we were never too off-track. She was always calm and focused, but never felt cold or too strict. She always asked the right questions at the right times when she needed to, and even though she was handling a million things, she never made herself unapproachable if we had any questions or requests for her. Even when we had a moment during our wedding that threatened to almost drive everything wildly off-course, she remained cool as a cucumber and worked with us to course correct. She is personally responsible for allowing our wedding to surpass every expectation we had and ending up being one of the most memorable and best events we have experienced so far. It is not an exaggeration when I say that she took care of everything from beginning to end, so that we were just able to enjoy and savor the day we had planned so long for. In conclusion, if you plan on having a wedding at any of the amazing Marvimon properties, do yourself a favor and hire Falon. She is the key ingredient that will ensure that you have a successful wedding, guaranteed.

I was part of the hair and makeup team that traveled from California to Utah for our awesome bride and groom. Working with Ingrid was such a great experience. She handled all the travel logistics--flights, hotel, rental car for our vendor team which made everything so easy for us. We just had to show up! She was super organized, responsive, and truly went the extra mile - even checking in during the bride's hair and makeup trial to make sure things were going smoothly. This review is for Cortney's full planning service for our wedding at The Ebell of Los Angeles in…read moreMay 2026. We found her through The Ebell's preferred vendor list after securing our venue, and booked her about eight months out from our big day -- which many will tell you is on the shorter end of the planning timeline. We had a lot of work to do together over the 8 months, but Cortney made it all possible (and enjoyable as well)! Also worth mentioning - as Bay Area-based clients planning a wedding in Los Angeles, we especially appreciated how seamlessly Cortney supported us through every step of the long-distance planning process. Cortney is infectiously positive and genuinely committed to helping you execute a wedding that feels like you. We came to her with a lot of specific, unconventional ideas -- the kind that a more traditional wedding planner might have pushed back on or struggled to execute. She embraced every single one of them, helped us shape them into something cohesive, and made us feel like no vision was too much to ask for. That willingness to truly work with us rather than steer us toward something more conventional made all the difference. Every person who attended has told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to -- and as cliché as it sounds, it was genuinely the best day of our lives. We were able to be present and enjoy every moment, and on the day itself, we were told we were the most relaxed couple -- which is a direct reflection of the work we put in together with Cortney leading up to it. We also want to specifically call out the vendors she recommended: our DJ, live music, and stationery were all EXCEPTIONAL and felt completely personalized to us in a way we hadn't expected. If you're looking for a planner who is trustworthy, joyful to work with, and will champion your vision no matter how unique it is -- book Cortney. We are so grateful for her and for making this journey as beautiful as the day itself. Photos were taken by the incredible Tomasz Wagner! (IG: tomaszwagnerco)
