I hired the W Event to plan my wedding which would be 7 months away from when I hired them. They interviewed very well so I decided to go with them. We made things official - I did as they asked and paid the deposit fee of $2500 (50% of their fee) and signed the contract. I wanted to get started with planning ASAP so I asked them to schedule venue tours. They took 3 weeks to get back to me after signing the contract and I was the one who had to reach out to them on multiple occasions. Finally, they scheduled me for a tour and per our contract - they are supposed to attend tours with me. They told me they wouldn't be attending since they are busy and have already been to that venue so felt they didn't need to go. This caught me off guard as I believed they would be accompanying me especially on my very first venue tour. After the first tour, I asked for more venues in the OC area as this is my location preference but they kept sending me locations in LA which is closer to them. I had to research venues on my own and scheduled them myself (keep in mind - this is what I hired them to do!) I asked if they would join me, but they told me they wouldn't be going due to being out on vacation/attending a funeral. I was not given prior notice of this and with my wedding being so soon, I just felt like there was no urgency with them. I was basically doing their job even though I paid my hard earned money for their services. After multiple occurrences of their lack of urgency and them totally disregarding anything I was asking for (venues in OC/coming to tour with me) I had my fiancée email them about our concerns since they were not following through on their part. They apologized and now wanted to provide all the things I was inquiring about, but still did not. For my troubles, I called Nicole and requested that they give me a partial refund from my deposit in which Nicole seemed she was going to consider due to the inconvenience they caused, but let me know she needed to speak with her sister about it first then would give me a call back. After talking with her sister, she emailed me that they could not give me a refund due to having already used that money to pay their rent and bills. Nicole didn't even have the decency to call me back. This was super unprofessional and added on more stress in my wedding planning process. They basically just took my hard earned money and gave me nothing in return. read more

Nicole and Laura were an awesome team! Hired them to be my day of coordinators and they went wayyy above and beyond. I am not very detail oriented and they even helped with some of my planning gaps! I went with their recommended florist and videographer as well and both recommendations were perfection. Our rehearsal was a little disorganized because of me and nicole and Laura helped get it on track! Even in 90 degree weather, they handled it all with grace.
