She was so professional and responsive whether it was texting, calling, or email. I live in NYC and was planning a Southern California wedding. She was always available to meet whenever I'd fly into LA, even at the earliest hours of the morning. I initially sought out Lisa because of her fair pricing, but I'd easily pay double for the coordination she provided. From the minute we had an initial phone call, I could tell she was Type A, which is exactly what you need in a coordinator. My gut told me she was perfect for our wedding, and indeed she was! Wedding Lead Up: We had one initial face to face with Lisa where she got to know our needs and our vision. She provided us with super helpful google docs to keep track of decor, guest list, timeline, vendors, etc. As the months of planning progressed, she was CCd on every email with every vendor, and would follow up where necessary. As a type A person myself, I never thought I'd really need my coordinator to do much, but Lisa would always beat me to the punch with following up for missing information or details our venue and vendors had missed. Walk-through: Lisa did a walk-through with us and our venue's coordinator, where she ironed out all of the details of the floor plan and decor, and remembered to ask for things like a full length mirror in our conference room we had to do hair/makeup. Rehearsal: Lisa was great about telling everyone where to go, how to walk properly, and taking pictures for us so we could rearrange people if we needed to. Our bridesmaid was running late but she was able to coordinate with Lisa to find where we were and make it on time. We felt very at ease and ready for the wedding after the rehearsal. Wedding!!!: Lisa and her assistant were wonderful with setting up all of our decor exactly how and where we wanted it, and believe me we had a lot of it! Lisa had the perfect balance of being invisible but also available right when we needed her. She was there to give me a bandaid when my feet blistered, help my grandma with her corsage, and track down random vendors when we needed them, but also stayed behind the scenes a lot. Everyone says a coordinator is there not for if something happens but when something happens. Well, we know of no such happenings because any mishaps were handled 100% by Lisa as we were enjoying ourselves. She had a great balance of keeping us on schedule while still asking if we wanted 5 or 10 more minutes of mingling with friends. At the end of the night she packed up all of our gifts and decor for us, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The day after our wedding she even sent us tons of pictures and boomerangs she had taken of behind the scenes moments. These are so special to us, and we'll savor them as we wait patiently for our professional photos. Can't recommend Eight & Rose enough!

We wouldn't have been able to have a wedding celebration at all without Grace! There's just too…read moremany moving parts to a wedding and we've seen others who were just too stressed out during their own wedding planning process who may have had emotional breakdowns. Therefore, just the thought of trying to plan a wedding was too overwhelming for us and we weren't insistent on it. This was especially so since we were planning for a wedding in Southern California while we live in Northern California. However, we needed a wedding celebration because it's a once-in-a-lifetime thing for our families. We opted for partial planning services with Grace, but it honestly felt more like a full planning service. Since our consultation to our wedding day, Grace was a tremendous help. Not only did she provide recommended vendors and reach out to each of them for quotes, but she communicated with them on behalf of us during the entire process and helped us negotiate prices to help us with our budget. When it came to contracts with our venue, she was wonderful at offering suggestions so that we could meet our F&B minimum without sacrificing guest experience. We also wanted to do a short tea ceremony the day of at the venue, and during the process, Grace helped us work with the venue to accommodate that. Grace also joined in on our calls with vendors which was a huge deal, since we weren't familiar with the venue or what was allowed/not allowed. Grace was also pregnant and had delivered a baby during our wedding planning process, but was still answering vendor emails for us and checking in on us that entire time! We also had a specific type of rehearsal/welcome dinner in mind and Grace went and booked the perfect place for us, even checking in to make sure we were aware of plans and where we were with our budget. Our venue was not so great at communicating, so there was an event the day before our wedding (especially annoying since our wedding party had to book flights earlier), but Grace was great at coordinating our family and wedding party to practice a last minute rehearsal the day of the wedding. We also wanted to get a little crafty for our individualized wedding favors which we decided to tape to the back of our menus, so Grace designed the menus with this favor in mind, and also taped each wedding favor to each guest's menu for us! This was a huge help since guest name tags were not finalized until so close to the wedding date and we were already busy with our work lives and other things. During the day-of, Grace made sure that we were on top of things especially with the timeline. She made sure that we were able to enjoy our food and drink enough water, and would be the "bad guy" for us when necessary. She also made sure our vendors were moving according to schedule and would be the go-to person for everything, otherwise we would have to be the ones constantly communicating to our DJ/MC or all the other vendors. Our wedding day worked out perfectly and Grace's designing (which we initially did not care about) was absolutely beautiful! Our guests kept giving us compliments about all the details and how organized and fun the day felt, and then we realized how important having a wedding planner was for such a big day for any couple. It was the best day of our lives and we are so glad that Grace was a huge part of why it happened! We are so glad she was a huge part of our new chapter!

Cassie and Gil had such warm, inviting personalities, and after the intro meeting we had with them to discuss everything we wanted, we knew they were the right choice for us. Our Clarke Estate wedding got canceled twice, so Cassie and Gil offered us the Artisan Building. We were so bummed out at first because Clarke had always been our dream venue, but our wedding at the Artisan could not have been more perfect. Everything from the food to the flowers to the music was better than we could have imagined. After the wedding, everyone kept asking where the food was from because they enjoyed it so much. She really helped us out by providing a few trusted vendor recommendations to help fill in the gaps. The support we felt from her in general was above and beyond. Whenever we would get off of a call or leave a meeting with Claudia, we would say to each other "she just gets it." She really had a special way of making us feel more confident and less anxious. Week and day of: I'm a hyper-organized person, but there is a special chaos that happens the week of your wedding that you can't really prepare for. Especially, when you are on a tight budget and trying to DIY as much as you can. Claudia was there to catch any holes, confirm with our vendors, and be a liaison with emails when our hands were too full.
