Our Clarke Estate wedding got canceled twice, so Cassie and Gil offered us the Artisan Building. We were so bummed out at first because Clarke had always been our dream venue, but our wedding at the Artisan could not have been more perfect. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My wife and I found this venue from a hashtag on Instagram. After many tours of other venues in San Diego, Temecula, and even OC, Harmony Estate was one of our last tours. This review is a little overdue, but probably the most important one I'll leave! I was connected to Harmonious Events after falling in love with a venue in my hometown. I got into contact with Gilbert, the MAN of Harmonious! Immediately, I felt a genuine connection with just our first phone conversation. I had already spoken with several wedding event planners and toured a few venues, so I was quite surprised with how I felt immediately following our first conversation. After our first in person meeting, it became quite clear that all the stresses and concerns that I may have had about planning a wedding were calmed. Harmonious Events presented a variety of options, offering to take care of flowers, food, desserts, bar service, photography, videography, planning, and entertainment - with absolutely no pressure to use all the services. For my husband (!!!!) and I, we decided it was a no brainer, we were impressed with the quality and care that went into each of the services and decided to go all in! Going into our wedding planning, I was always concerned with expenses. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to afford to have a wedding with a year engagement. But, with Harmonious, it was easy to have conversations about finances and the Harmonious team always came up with a variety of options so that we were able to have everything we wanted at a cost that we could afford. In 2017, my husband and I were looking for a wedding planner to take away the stress of the big day and went to Yelp, hoping we'd find someone. We messaged the Harmonious Events team, not expecting much of a response, but they responded quickly and were incredibly friendly, inviting us to their home. Prior to meeting, my husband and I talked, and agreed that we wouldn't rush into any decisions before meeting with other planners. That changed as soon as they opened their doors. They welcomed us with open arms; literally, they hugged us, they offered water and Starbucks coffee and made us feel less like strangers and more like family. They listened to every idea we had for the wedding throughout the meeting, and had solutions for everything we asked for the wedding. They worked with our budget and helped us come up with an incredibly reasonable payment plan. It made the entire planning experience incredibly easy and stress-free since we knew we were getting everything we wanted. We walked out knowing we didn't need to meet with anyone else. Over the next three years, the process blossomed into a friendship. We watched their family grow and seen their business evolve, yet their mindfulness of our questions never waivered. No matter the time of day, we could text them and have a question answered quickly. We had so many meetings, all accommodating around our school schedule. We found our gem of a venue tucked away in the heart of Uptown Whittier, and my husband and I knew immediately that this is the place where we had to say "I do." Everything about The Artisan took our breath away, from the exposed brick wall and black stairway, to the venue's urban industrial style, to the stringed lights and the fantastic patio deck. Yet, The Artisan has gotten only better with time, with hanging lights and a beautiful separate Groom and Bridal suite, filled with amenities by the Harmonious team like cold drinks, TVs, and Bluetooth speakers. Despite COVID, once my husband and I decided that no pandemic would stop us from finally getting married after 11 years together, the Harmonious team was ready and willing to be there for us. They made every possible decision to keep themselves and our family safe. Cass and the Harmonious team were there early in the morning, ready to decorate and set up for our big day. Cass is such a diligent worker that she pulled double duty that day, working as one of our photographers, and coordinating her team, while Gil worked for another couple that same day. Cass made sure to make me feel special that day by telling me beforehand that if there was anything that I needed, all I needed to do was text her, and she would be there for me. And the same goes for my husband, who said Cass or her team were always around in the Groom Suite and checking on him to make him feel comfortable. The moment finally came, and the ceremony was breathtaking. Every little detail that the team worked on was indeed an incredible sight. The floral arrangements that their team had for us were astonishing. They made boutonnieres for the guys, gorgeous bouquets for the ladies, corsages for the moms, and a magnificent wedding bouquet for myself. After the ceremony, the Harmonious team had a cocktail hour for our guests while she took my new husband and me around the venue to get some fantastic pictures. The food that day was sensational. The appetizers were great and the dinner was spectacular. The best part of the night was that the Harmonious staff made my husband and I our own special dish; we shared a tasteful pizza and fries, a staple of our relationship. The sweets table was such a delight; people enjoyed tasty doughnuts, cupcakes, and cake that were delectable. The bartenders worked so wonderfully that night and made sure our guests were satisfied. The DJ worked with us to make sure every musical detail was filled that night, from grand entrances, to garter tosses, bouquet tosses, and our first dance. At the end of the night, once all the guests had left, we stayed and chatted for almost two hours with the team. We talked about how beautiful the day was, how far we've come as friends, fun moments throughout the night. Every worker that day laughed and giggled with us. They all became family by the end of the night. Finally, I must say, choosing the Harmonious Events team will change your life. This review is WAY overdue *Sorry Gilbert and Cassie.* I found Gilbert and Cassie through yelp after having postponed my wedding due to a Family Emergency and FINALLY convincing my now Husband that we needed a wedding planner. I initially spoke with Gilbert and let him know what I was looking for and informed him that we already had some vendors for our wedding and what it was that we were looking for. In planning with certain vendors, I also realized once they get your deposit, they don't communicate as well, and informed Gilbert that I was still very hands on, and that communication was super important to me. He assured me he would be there every step of the way and that it wouldn't be a problem. After speaking to other Wedding planners, I just got a good vibe from Gilbert and decided Harmonious Events is who I wanted to assist with my wedding. My Husband and I thought we were going to have to have a wedding at a hotel because of our budget and because they just had everything there and we didn't have to worry about so many vendors. When Gilbert and Cassie assured us that they do it all, they literally mean THEY DO IT ALL!!!! Gilbert knew that I had visited the Alexandria Ballrooms and that it would be a dream to get married there. He was like "let's do it, we can make it happen." AND THEY DID! I ended up having my wedding on Dec 1, 2018 at The Alexandria Ballrooms. We ended up getting our catering, bartending, tables, chairs, flowers, dessert table, seating chart, welcome sign, linens, silverware and coordinating services through Gilbert and Cassie and we couldn't have been more happy. They were on top of it all. From the moment we signed on, till the very end. From Food tasting, drink tasting, dessert tasting, to the day of the wedding, Gilbert and Cassie were there. We received so many compliments on the food, and how beautiful our wedding was. To this Day, my Mom still talks about Gilberts Team and our vendors (who all ended up working together great btw..) and how on top of everything they were. The only thing I can recommend is if you're having a wedding size of 180-200 people, don't think 2 bartenders is going to work! LOL! Our Mexican/Salvi wedding had those poor bartenders on their toes! We should have definitely hired at least two more bartenders, but our budget didn't permit because of other things we prioritized. Seriously, tell Gilbert and Cassie what you are working with and they will tell you what they can do, what they can't do, and how to maximize your budget. I cannot fully explain how amazing Gilbert, Cassie, and the rest of the Harmonious Events team are. Gilbert, Cassaundra, and their team were an absolute delight to work with. The Harmonious team handled our catering, rentals, entertainment, photo booth, lighting, decor, bar tending, security, setup/tear down, and day of coordination for our wedding. It is unbelievable how smooth the day was and how attentive they were. We did not worry about a single thing and were amazed by how everything turned out. Chef Gilbert cooked up a delicious Hawaiian style appetizer plate for our guests that included huli huli chicken, pineapple pork, sticky rice, salad, and a Hawaiian Roll. The guests all commented on how great the food was. We all got hungry when they were cooking on-site because everything smelled so good! The Bartenders also did a phenomenal job keeping our guests happy and creating delicious mixed drinks. All of the tables, chairs, string lighting, up lighting, and linens were set up according to our expectations. We brought our own florals and welcome table decor but Gilbert made sure they were all set up in the most attractive way possible. We were even short a few centerpieces and they still made it happen for us! Gilbert and Cassaundra also worked with our other vendors to make sure the whole day went smoothly. Feb 2020 we originally booked & paid the deposit to have harmonious events for photo, bar, food, basically everything. After COVID happened we had to postpone our wedding, downsize our guest count & change venue locations to be able to afford a wedding. My review is for their customer service. I'm SOOO sad I wasn't able to work with Harmonious Events and have my wedding at the Artisan. The building is beautiful and Gil and Cassaundra are wonderful. They were incredibly responsive (I got responses back late at night!) and they were so helpful. I initially thought that they would be way above my budget but they really worked with me. I appreciated that they understood my limited budget and never once did I feel anything other than empathy and understanding from them. Unfortunately, due to other circumstances, we needed a bigger venue and my future-in-laws added some requests that wouldn't work out at the Artisan. We cannot be more thankful for booking our wedding with Harmonious Events. Gil and Cassandra's team stuck with us through nearly a year and a half to plan our wedding due to COVID-19 complications and supported us when we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our wedding by 9 months. In the end it was all worth it because they pulled off a perfect wedding and we are so happy with how it all turned out. We planned our entire wedding through Harmonious in that they handled the food, flowers, photography etc. and it made everything so easy. If easy planning and simple coordination is important to you for your wedding day, then I can't recommend going this route highly enough. The estate itself is gorgeous with beautiful landscaping and plenty of options for pictures. After the wedding many of our guests expressed to us honestly that they thought our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever been to which we, while maybe a little biased, are inclined to agree. Because we had been with Harmonious for so long we had the privilege of seeing how much work has been put into the property to make it so lovely. On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch which allowed us to simply enjoy our day stress free. There was nothing that came up that couldn't be solved or handled in 10 minutes or less. Throughout the whole planning process we knew we had nothing to worry about because we were in good hands. They are a very well-coordinated team and very good people. We were very impressed at how well they execute on the details and how great they listen to what you want. When I think of Harmonious Events, I think of family. Throughout the planning process for our wedding, Gilbert, Cass, and the entire Harmonious team became our extended family. From the moment we met them, they cared about who we were and making sure that we had the wedding of our dreams. When we first began our venue tours, I became disappointed quickly. Not only were the venues not what I dreamed of, but the people never asked us about our story and as a recently engaged woman I wanted to shout our love story from the rooftops. Harmonious cares about you and what led you to them. When we walked into the barn at Harmony Estate, I knew it was where we would get married. It is the perfect combination of rustic and elegance. The best thing about the venue was that the entire Harmonious team and full-service wedding planning was part of the package. Our entire wedding was planned by them - from the venue, to the food, to the photography, to the flowers, to the décor, and even the engagement shoot - they do everything which ensures that the entire wedding is cohesive. Throughout the planning process they set up meetings to go through certain details and ensure they fully understand your vision for each element. Venue: Harmony Estate is gorgeous. There are so many beautiful places to take pictures on the grounds. The barn for the reception is absolute perfection. It is big and open to ensure that everyone is part of all the amazing moments of the wedding. We also spent the night before our wedding at the estate. We had our rehearsal dinner on the lawn under the market lights and it is so beautiful. And the house is perfect. Gilbert and Cass are constantly making improvements just to make your day more special. Food: We had the BBQ with tri-tip, chicken, mac & cheese, and potatoes. Everything is absolutely delicious. Best mac & cheese we have ever had - we wish we had the recipe. Also, the taste test is so much fun with Gilbert and Cass. Bring your appetite :) Photography & Videography: We got both photography and videography. Cass is the main photographer and she does a great job of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. They capture not only the more staged moments, but moments throughout the day. Some of my favorite pictures are moments on the dance floor we are just looking at each other. Flowers: I'm not a huge flower person, but they gave us the flowers of my dreams. They completely understood my vision and created gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres. Décor: Our theme was rustic elegance, and it aligned perfectly with Harmony. During our meetings about décor, we shared ideas of what we liked and they brought it to life, including wooden table numbers, glass door seating charts, and lanterns. We also purchased our own items and they seamlessly put everything together to make it look gorgeous. Also, they brought us in the barn just the two of us so we could see everything put together before everyone else. One of my favorite moments. They are so easy to work with and so accommodating. It's like planning a wedding with family, as if they've known you their whole lives. That's how comfortable and stress free this team has made myself, my husbands, our families and guests feel. THE VENUE: We we're looking for a venue that offered that rustic, backyard wedding vibe. This estate does not disappoint. It is easily accessible off the freeway, plenty of hotels near by, and tons of parking for your guests. As you enter, you'r met by a beautiful gate, the open grass area and a beautiful home that is available for you and your wedding party to stay if you choose to. The inside of the house has such cute designated bridal suite and groomsmen man cave, perfect for getting ready in. The back patio near the poolside and string-lit open area provided an excellent space for us to have our Dinner Rehearsal. But the most impressive part of this property was the large barn in the back with a open cocktail area that featured lawn games, string lights, and a beautiful wooden wall. I mean every part of this venue has so many "instagram-worthy" places. The barn has high ceilings, large wooden beams, plenty of room, and an easily accessible bathroom with multiple stalls. I thought this was important because I've personally attended weddings where they literally only have 1 ladies room!! DECOR: We really didn't need to add many decorations, mostly because the venue itself needs no enhancements. From the bar, to the pallet walls, and many wine barrels scattered everywhere. We only brought 2 boxes of our own small decorations. We upgraded to the farm tables, selected the hexagon arch, and were offered many options for a table seating chart. We requested oil lamps for the tables and they managed to provide that for us! They have their own equipment, flower company, chef, bartenders, and bakery. So if your looking for a one-stop-shop, hassle free, none of the headache that meets you when your shopping around for a good deal. Harmonious Events is the team for you! Their pricing for the rentals and decor is very, very, reasonable!! FOOD & DESSERT: We for so many compliments from our guests on the appetizers, food, and dessert. You have multiple choices and you can't go wrong with any of them. We had sliders, chicken skewers and meatballs for cocktail hour. Then played Mac n' cheese with smoked tri tip and chicken. Our guest loved that it was not typical over priced and dry wedding food. The comfort food really added a special family cookout style mood. They made our cake, cupcakes, and macaroons. What ever dessert your heart desires they'll make it! DRINKS: They provided wine and beer of our choosing and had advised us on how much liquor to buy. The bartenders made so pretty dang good old fashions and mules. They did not skimp on the pour, no watered down drinks, and our guests were definitely satisfied. They put up a cute screen that matched our wedding invitations on the screen with our specialty cocktails. MUSIC: We asked a good friend of ours to DJ our wedding, but they have a list of DJ's if you don't have one. As a last minute request they were able to find a guitarist for our ceremony and cocktail hour within hours!!! COVID-19 PROTOCOL: Adjustments were made to maintain the safety of the guests and staff. The staff wore face masks the entire time. Touchless temperature checks and a screening questionnaire was performed on all of our guests. There was also plenty of hand sanitizer everywhere. The venue is so large that social distancing was not a problem! We could go on and on with more positive things to say about this team. There is no detail that goes overlooked or missed with these guys. Working with them is like being a kid at Disneyland. They made our Wedding Day, the happiest place on earth!! First and foremost....Cassie and Gilbert are hands down incredible! They are passionate about what they do and the will take care of you! Milestone Event/Bday Review: I reached out to Harmonious Events while planning my 30th bday. I wanted rates on chairs and tables, nothing else... little did I know they would make planning 100 times easier. I'm used to planning everything on my own and they made feel comfortable from the very beginning. I ended up booking everything through them: 1) Bartending services 2) Photo Booth 3) Casino/Black Jack table 4) Balloons 5) Flowers 6) Videography 7)Photography, 8)Tables, chairs. They do it all and they do it well!! 1) Bartending Services - (Harmonious Booze): Before my big day, I met with the Josh (bartender), Cassie and Gilbert to select a signature drink and do a taste test. I went through what I wanted and we selected what would be served. They took care of everything from here. They purchased the alcohol, brought glass ware and everything needed for the bar. The bartending service made my bday!! Josh was a hit! Extremely friendly and great with a crowd. Ask about the "Tajin shot!" 2) Photo booth: If there's anything you get from Harmonious Events.. GET THEIR PHOTO BOOTH! I received so many compliments. They have tons of props, filters and a great set up. They will customize your prints and give you a digital version of all the pictures taken. 3) Casino services: I threw out the idea about having a Black Jack table. They said "we have that." They also have poker, roulette... anything really. Great set up and they work with you to make it fit your needs. 4) Balloons! Show them the design and they will work with you to it happen. 5) Flowers (Harmonious Blooms): Again.. show them what you have in mind, and they will work with you to make it happen, and for a great price! My flowers lasted me a over a week after the event. LOVED THEM! 6)Photography: Check out their photography page on Instagram: @HarmoniousMoments. Cassie is one of the photographers. She is super fun and will make picture taking natural. She has a really good eye for candids. You may be recommended a different photographer based on the style you're looking for. 7) Videography: Geronimo captured my bday. He had fun with us! He was there at every great moment and just grooved with the crowd. Having a camera around is awkward (at least for me), I loved that he instantly made friends with everyone and made us feel comfortable. He was a great hype man, egged on the crowd to keep going for the camera! 8) Tables + Chairs: I used their bar standing tables and the regular round sitting tables. I had something in mind and Gilbert made it that much better. He came in and with his vision organized the tables to allow more space and a better social set-up. I can't recommend them enough! After many, many meetings and even more emails and texts-- Major fail by the event coordinator. 94-year grandmother left standing in hot sun before the procession--no chair provided although it had been discussed (due to her age) Coordinator did not bring out the corsages and boutonnières--mother of the bride had to run back to retrieve them Guests were not directed to the ceremony site (this is a very large venue) No one followed up on gift table. My husband and I used Harmonious Events' Photo Booth and musical services for our wedding and couldn't be more grateful! From the beginning to the end Gilbert was responsive, kind, and thorough. We received a link with all of our photos that we were able to download and GIFs to share with our guests (major score!). For the music, we had Antonio play acoustic guitar for the wedding processional. All of the guests were raving about his performance, since he played a few contemporary as well as classic songs. Antonio was extremely professional and made sure to take cues to start/stop the songs with grace. Harmonious Events was the biggest blessing I ever came across! I was planning my wedding and I had about 10 months to do so, after trying to do things on my own and realizing how stressful it was becoming I went in search of a "one stop shop" and I found them!!
