Edna is amazing! We did our first mini session with her this past fall and she was wonderful with my 4 year old. Kids that age have very short attention spans and for her to get such wonderful pictures of her is truly an art. She got our photos to us quickly and the retouches even quicker. I can't recommend Square Eye Photography enough! My partner and I were less than a week away from our wedding at the Old Orange County courthouse, and luckily were able to book Noah as our main photographer, and also had Edna join us as well! Noah and Edna both took so much time and care with both of us (and our dog!) that we felt we were truly in expert hands - including finding some prime spots inside and around the courthouse to shoot! This has been a long time coming to post this review, but getting back to a schedule after having a baby can be tough. With that being said, Edna does amazing with newborns. We were referred originally for our pregnancy shoot, but unfortunately our budget didn't permit. We kept her in mind for our baby's newborn shoot and we are greatful that it worked out! Edna is so creative and passionate about her work and she was super patient with our love bug, because EJ was anything but easy... He took 6 hours to capture but so worth it for us. We were sleep deprived as most with newborns and we dozed off in the studio. I've recommended Edna to friends and we look forward to seeing her work for future shoots as we will keep coming back anytime we need a photographer! She's fun and bubbly with an eye for perfection! I just got married last week, and having gone through the stressful process that is wedding planning, I know how tough it is to find the right vendors - ESPECIALLY photographer because after all, photos are the only thing you have to hold onto once the big day is over. I did sooo much research looking for a photographer. Every wedding website possible, I was on there looking at every single review of wedding photographers within a 50 mile radius. Because I am super picky (and also a bit paranoid), I wasn't able to find anyone that I felt comfortable with. I even reached out to Lin and Jirsa but I didn't trust having some random photographer on their team capturing our wedding. THANK GOD my coworker recommended Edna to me. My coworker has had ALL of her photos taken by Edna (engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn) and she was kind enough to show me all of her wedding photos so that I can make an informed decision. Let me just tell you, Edna's photos speak for themselves. They are AMAZING. HEAVENLY. PHENOMENAL. Edna has such a good eye and tells you exactly what to do in your photo shoot. She also EXUDES positive energy that you just feel so happy and comfortable during the shoot, which is important for looking good in your pictures!!! Not only that, but she is so good at making everything look PERFECT yet natural via photoshop. I could not even tell my album photos were photoshopped until I randomly came across the original and noticed how much skinnier/longer my legs looked in my album when compared to the original (Thanks Edna!!!! LOL) As I have stated earlier, I got married May 25. I got my photos May 30. AMAZING!!!! That's literally unheard of with most wedding photographers... I showed my parents the 2600+ photos that were captured from the wedding and they were very impressed, which is crazy because they are not easily impressed. Edna had an assistant, Noah, and a 2nd shooter whose name was Junior at our wedding. They were all such happy people who were so helpful, encouraging and nice and just made me feel so at ease. They truly made me feel that much more relaxed at my own wedding... I loved that Junior shot at different angles and introduced more creative/experimental elements to our photos!
