Plus-Size Bride Specialist. I can attest to this. At the time of my wedding, I was nearly 300lbs. Edna with Square Eye Photography shot my engagement & wedding photos and I never felt more beautiful. The editorial touch that Edna embodies is superb. The photos were magazine quality. Above all else, she was an excellent collaborator and guide in capturing the vision that I had for our photos. On a day that is so important, it's best to hire the expert and leave nothing to chance. Edna is that person, hands-down. read more

Do you see all the 5 Reviews from previous clients? There's a reason why. At the end of the day, you want the best photos. Maybe you have a vision or an idea you want to shoot with Edna. She'll give you great recommendations and set you up with expections for your photo session. I've used Edna for years and the beautiful memories created of my two children when they were newborns were magical. I wanted a Chinese theme session and both times Edna hit it out the park with the breath taking still photos. To this day I have those images hung up in our Living Room. Those photos are special because as any parent will tell you those moments passes you by and you'll only have these investments of photographs to capture those precious timelines. We've also used Edna for holiday photos. Again, we've gotten many compliments from friends about how great those images were. If you're comparing photographers, don't look too far. Edna is patient, detail oriented, and a true professional. Just look at her work and see for yourself. read more

I've been with Edna since my engagement in 2015! I can't believe I haven't spent the time to leave a very much deserved review. Where do I start? SHES AMAZING! We have used Edna for our wedding, family group pictures and every year we do our holiday pictures with her! When I tell you she knows what she's doing, she knows! My favorite things about Edna is that she's so easy to work with, she's even better with kids (especially my autistic daughter) and she's simply amazing at what she does. We love Edna & her team! read more

She took the time to answer all our questions, explained things clearly without rushing. Edna is amazing! We did our first mini session with her this past fall and she was wonderful with my 4 year old. Kids that age have very short attention spans and for her to get such wonderful pictures of her is truly an art. She got our photos to us quickly and the retouches even quicker. She's very sweet and easy to talk to which makes the awkward posing for me a more comfortable experience. The photos themselves are beautiful. I love this set of family photos. She had various of locations which to me is a plus because I love options and she truly knew the spots that will give you the best composition. Book her, you won't regret it :) read more

Edna continues to be absolutely amazing at her craft! Her mini sessions are a wonderful opportunity to get the family together for a fun time and beautiful pictures! Edna not only captures the beauty of the scenery but she captures the love and bond between our families. Her work is more than just pictures, her work captures beautiful memories that we will be able to look back on for years to come. Edna is definitely the one we want capturing our families for years to come. read more

I can't recommend Square Eye Photography enough! My partner and I were less than a week away from our wedding at the Old Orange County courthouse, and luckily were able to book Noah as our main photographer, and also had Edna join us as well! Noah and Edna both took so much time and care with both of us (and our dog!) that we felt we were truly in expert hands - including finding some prime spots inside and around the courthouse to shoot! It made our day that much more memorable and enjoyable, and I can't stress enough how kind and comfortable Noah and Edna both made me feel - a plus for someone who almost never poses for professional photos. The resulting photos were absolutely perfect, and honestly I'd fully recommend anyone give them a try! I was so happy that it got me to sign into Yelp to leave a review, something I'm not sure I've ever done before, haha. I promise you won't regret trusting them with your special day. Thanks!! read more

Edna has been doing our annual photo sessions since 2007. From our engagement photos, being our wedding photographer, my brother's wedding photographer, baby pictures of our kids and taking our holiday mini-sessions every year, she's pretty much a big part of our family now :) We love her attention to detail and professionalism. She is always on time, listens to our requests and makes everyone (especially our kids) feel comfortable during the entire process. Edna is a very personable professional who wants as many details as possible in order to deliver the right photos. We always look forward to our yearly sessions with her because she makes it more enjoyable. She is a brilliant photographer, a hard worker, very creative and delivers all our photos ahead of schedule. We highly recommend Square Eye Photography! read more

What can I say about Edna and her team? She is the absolute best at what she does. Although she photographed my wedding years ago, this review was long over due. She is not only professional, but also charismatic and keeps her photo subjects/models in the best of spirits to capture the best moments on film. Edna is completely knowledgeable in her profession as she has countless of clients that can attest to that. 10/10 I would and continue to recommend her to friends and family. read more

We had Edna do our wedding photos back in 2011 and it was a fantastic experience. Not only did our photos turn out great and she captured every bit of our big day, she also made sure we had a lot of fun doing so. Back then she went above and beyond for us and recently she has done so again! We recently lost our photographs and reached out to her and she was able to help us recover some of our photos. If you want beautiful work, and someone you can depend on, this is the team to book! read more

I am so thankful for Edna and her associate photographer Noah for taking my wedding pictures. He did such an amazing job. Noah was very professional and super nice. He worked so well around my big family and made sure to capture all the special moments. Even the smallest of details he photographed. Pictures are memories to treasure for years to come, and he did just that and more. I definitely recommend using them for your wedding or any event you want great pictures. I want to thank you both for a fantastic job. read more

When I began planning our wedding there was one thing I knew I wanted and that was Edna's photographic magic for our big day. Having admired her work for years I knew that no one else would compare! I am SO SO dang lucky that not only was she available, but that her personality was just as epic as her art. Never could I have imagined that the world in front of her lenses could be so exhilarating and rewarding. It goes beyond a pose, she truly captures the raw emotion and subtle magic behind every moment. It's truly rare that you look at an image and remember exactly what you were feeling when it was captured, but Edna's images write a story with every shutter of her camera. I can fully admit that I am addicted to her talent! It's such a unique opportunity to know an artist of this caliber. I will most definitely return time and time again to have Square Eye Photography's extraordinary mark on the chapters of our lives. read more

Newborn photo shoot! These are just a few images of Edna's amazing work with my newborn son. Her talent is just completely off the hook. She captures these special moments that are priceless. read more

We could not have done our wedding day with any other than Square Eye Photography. Edna has always given the best of her business to my wife and family. Her vision and creativity work all into one picture speaks for itself. Every time I look back on every picture she took is as if I'm reliving that day, that moment and the words of our love ones. We've been knowing Edna for 12 years and she has been doing our family pictures. For our wedding day we knew she was the right person to take on a tough task. The way she is as a professional photographer and a friend to both my wife and I, allowed us to feel less worried of how things would turn out. With no hesitation we would book her again. We didn't have a big budget for our wedding but we did make it happen to have the best photographer. We didn't ever think "it's too expensive" , "out of budget", or "we can find someone else for less" because, I knew that our wedding day would pass but the memories captured by Edna (like only she knows) will be what we have to hold, share, and re-live. We are grateful for Edna and her team. Very highly recommended to all that are interested in finding a wedding photographer. read more

This has been a long time coming to post this review, but getting back to a schedule after having a baby can be tough. With that being said, Edna does amazing with newborns. We were referred originally for our pregnancy shoot, but unfortunately our budget didn't permit. We kept her in mind for our baby's newborn shoot and we are greatful that it worked out! Edna is so creative and passionate about her work and she was super patient with our love bug, because EJ was anything but easy... He took 6 hours to capture but so worth it for us. We were sleep deprived as most with newborns and we dozed off in the studio. I've recommended Edna to friends and we look forward to seeing her work for future shoots as we will keep coming back anytime we need a photographer! She's fun and bubbly with an eye for perfection! That's my kind of gal! But hey you don't have to take it from me, give her a try for yourself and you will be amazed! read more

Edna is the absolute best! After searching through many photographers, my fiancé and I decided to go with her for our engagement and wedding photos and we are so happy that we did. We are obsessed with our engagement photos. Not only are they AMAZING, but it was such a fun session! We were both very nervous that we would be awkward, but Edna made it all so natural and an overall great experience. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, our wedding has been postponed. However, Edna has been very gracious in working with us and coming up with the perfect solution that works for us. We cannot praise her enough and will be coming to her for all our photo needs from now on. read more

EDNA IS THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER PERIOD!!!! If you are looking for the perfect photographer, LOOK NO MORE!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME/ENERGY AND JUST GO TO EDNA, TRUST ME!!! I just got married last week, and having gone through the stressful process that is wedding planning, I know how tough it is to find the right vendors - ESPECIALLY photographer because after all, photos are the only thing you have to hold onto once the big day is over. I did sooo much research looking for a photographer. Every wedding website possible, I was on there looking at every single review of wedding photographers within a 50 mile radius. Because I am super picky (and also a bit paranoid), I wasn't able to find anyone that I felt comfortable with. I even reached out to Lin and Jirsa but I didn't trust having some random photographer on their team capturing our wedding. THANK GOD my coworker recommended Edna to me. My coworker has had ALL of her photos taken by Edna (engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn) and she was kind enough to show me all of her wedding photos so that I can make an informed decision. Let me just tell you, Edna's photos speak for themselves. They are AMAZING. HEAVENLY. PHENOMENAL. Edna has such a good eye and tells you exactly what to do in your photo shoot. She also EXUDES positive energy that you just feel so happy and comfortable during the shoot, which is important for looking good in your pictures!!! Not only that, but she is so good at making everything look PERFECT yet natural via photoshop. I could not even tell my album photos were photoshopped until I randomly came across the original and noticed how much skinnier/longer my legs looked in my album when compared to the original (Thanks Edna!!!! LOL) As I have stated earlier, I got married May 25. I got my photos May 30. AMAZING!!!! That's literally unheard of with most wedding photographers... I showed my parents the 2600+ photos that were captured from the wedding and they were very impressed, which is crazy because they are not easily impressed. Edna had an assistant, Noah, and a 2nd shooter whose name was Junior at our wedding. They were all such happy people who were so helpful, encouraging and nice and just made me feel so at ease. They truly made me feel that much more relaxed at my own wedding... I loved that Junior shot at different angles and introduced more creative/experimental elements to our photos! I could go on and on about just how great Square Eye Photography is but a simple review won't do her justice. Like I said, I'm SUPER picky.... but Edna is just perfect :) TLDR; EDNA IS THE BEST. If you're looking for a photographer, GO SEE HER. You'll thank me later! *will post pictures soon!!!* read more

Edna is an amazing photographer! She is calm, patient, easy-going, flexible, fun, and so darn talented. She took care of everything and made the process stress-free. Edna was a spectacular photographer for our wedding last year and we LOVE our photos! They are even more beautiful than we expected them to be, and we especially love how many different creative poses and settings she shot us in. This gave us a wide range of options to choose our favorites from (which is actually really hard because we genuinely love all of them) and that was a really nice thing I don't think we could've gotten from any other photographer. 10/10 would recommend Edna - she's a total badass in person and behind the camera. Thanks Edna! You truly are a god among men haha! read more

We booked Edna for my cousin and his finace's wedding day. She had done extensive research for photographers and hadn't quite found anyone she liked. I had seen Edna's work through Instragram and had been following her for a while. I mentioned Edna to my cousin's fiance and we set up an appointment to meet with Edna. My cousin's fiance was blow away by her presentation and sample work. She had found the one to capture her special day. Edna is very professional and has the most creative eye. She was easy to work with and was very quick to respond to questions we had. When I finally tie the knot, Edna will be my go to photographer....no need to even question that. Just book her.
