I tried to push through because I know I'm someone who watches sodium and restaurant food can sometimes taste saltier, but this was far beyond that. This was excessive. The guacamole and pico de gallo also tasted like they had been sitting out far too long, clearly not fresh and likely from the day before. I ended up sending the food back, something I almost never do. I wasn't expecting a full refund, but I was surprised that there was no effort made to offer any kind of discount. To be fair to our server, I didn't make a big scene, I simply said the food was too salty to eat. In hindsight, I probably should have taken the offer to have it remade, but at that point my appetite was gone. What made it worse is that I left the restaurant still hungry and really disappointed. Around 1:30 a.m., a bouncer named Chris Miller aggressively approached my husband and me, yelling at us to leave and telling us to stand outside in the pouring rain to finish our drinks. We were not drunk, disruptive, or breaking any rules. When we didn't immediately comply, he took the drink out of my hand and deliberately splashed it all over my dress, in the rain. Completely degrading, unnecessary, and unprofessional. This wasn't crowd control--it was a power trip. After spending hundreds of dollars, no guest should be treated this way. Our New Year's Eve was ruined, and we left feeling shocked and disrespected. I would strongly caution anyone considering this place, especially on busy nights.
