My husband and I got married in September and really glad we went with Mia Bella to help us with our wedding at Walnut Grove. We first spoke to Katie for an initial call and she was really knowledgable and friendly that I was sad to hear we would be working with another coordinator, but Emily happily jumped on a call to ease any worries I may have had. We went with the Month of Coordination service which allowed us to do most of the planning ourselves (most of our vendors were locked in early on, but MB provides a lovely list of vendors they've worked with in case it's needed). Emily had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire (you can tell they know what they're doing with the questions being asked) and went over every detail with us, including areas we were still figuring out. She was available for any questions I had as well leading up to the day, made sure to reach out to all of our vendors with the master timeline, and even provided some guidance for my cousin that was officiating for the first time. A big bonus is how many weddings they've coordinated at Walnut Grove that they're very familiar with the venue and the folks from Command Performance Catering. Emily led us through rehearsal the day before and made sure the actual wedding day went smoothly. She made it possible for us to focus on enjoying the day with our friends and family, but still keep on schedule with her gentle reminders. read more

I would say hiring Mia Bella Weddings was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had Emily who took great care of us and with such wonderful kindness throughout. We held our wedding at Walnut Grove and it was clear that Emily knew what she was doing, especially at that venue! I am definitely a more anxious bride and had many questions, emails, texts. Emily responded to each one with so much grace and expertise. Wedding planning can be isolating at times because there is so much to do - but I really felt like I had a partner in Emily. She was so responsive and enthusiastic! Her excitement and calm attitude carried me in moments I wanted to give up wedding planning altogether. On our wedding rehearsal - our bridal parties all remarked at how pleasant yet professional Emily was. She really made sure everyone knew what they were doing. Which was especially difficult because we had a bridal party of about 20+ people! On the day of the wedding, we had very strong winds (at an all outdoor venue) and I was blissfully unaware of the chaos occuring. But Emily and her assistant Katie handled the situation so well. Whenever Emily checked in with me regarding things that were not going to plan, she had so much confidence and peace that it was easy for me to make quick decisions. I can really say I was present throughout the wedding, and focused on getting married! Everything else, Emily handled so beautifully. I am forever grateful to Emily and Mia Bella Weddings and you will not regret having them on your vendor team! read more

Words truly cannot express how grateful we are for Mia Bella Weddings and our month-of coordinator, Katie! Even from my very first inquiry call, Katie stood out as someone who has a genuine passion and joy for what she does. I wanted to work with a coordinator who would connect with us on a personal level, and she fit the bill perfectly. During our in-person meeting with her, she set aside time to get to know my husband and me and asked about what was most important to us in planning our wedding. She is incredibly trustworthy and kind, and every suggestion she shared was backed by so much intentionality and care. Not only that, Katie was so meticulous and organized! Mia Bella Weddings has worked with our venue, Walnut Grove, and our caterer, Command Performance Catering, for over 14 years, and it really showed in the level of thoroughness in her planning. We loved her detailed questionnaire, and she asked so many great questions about our wedding that I hadn't even considered. Throughout the entire process, Katie was quick to respond to our emails and texts, and she would send reminders of any important deadlines coming up so that we wouldn't miss anything. Fast-forward to our wedding rehearsal - it went seamlessly. This was the first wedding on my side of the family, and Katie was so helpful in answering every single question we had about the ceremony. She conducted the whole rehearsal with a sense of calmness, making our family and wedding party feel relaxed, not stressed :) On the day-of, Katie was on top of every single thing. When my bridesmaids and I arrived at the venue, most of our decor was already set up and it all just looked sooooo beautiful. She would check up on me throughout the day and offer to help with anything I needed -- always with a beaming smile on her face. Our wedding couldn't have gone better and Katie did the most amazing job of bringing our vision to life! We're still getting compliments from our guests about how beautiful and perfectly planned our wedding was. Katie, thank you again so much for your labor of love - we are confident we made the right decision in working with you! read more

We cannot begin to express how grateful we were to have Emily help guide us through our wedding process! Her workbook was perfect for helping us get organized and formalize a timeline for the big day, and we appreciated her thorough attention to detail in getting everything right. She was great with our vendors and responded to all parties in a timely manner. Her impact was substantial on our rehearsal and wedding day, taking care of everything behind the scenes and keeping us on track so we could focus on our guests and the celebration. We cannot recommend Emily enough! read more

Mia Bella Weddings was such a great choice for our wedding coordinator. From the very beginning Katie was so communicative and willing to answer all of our questions, help us find vendors, etc. Leading up to the wedding she thought of everything and was so prepared! She also made sure we had everything we needed to be prepared. She is truly a wealth of knowledge when it comes to putting together a wedding. On the day of, everything looked perfect thanks to Katie. I was not very specific about what I wanted but I brought all the decor and Katie made everything look amazing. I did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day because I knew she had it handled. I cannot recommend her enough if you are planning any event! read more

Katie McJimsey from Mia Bella Weddings is phenomenal. Michele made the initial call to see if we would be a good fit, and at the time I had not even looked for other wedding coordinators because they were already everything I was looking for. The price was reasonable and negotiable (especially for about 100 guests) and they helped make my wedding dreams come true. As a bride who didn't know what she initially wanted and had to conjure up what she could within 4-5 months, our wedding turned out damn near perfect. Katie handled all the logistics as well as the day-of headaches to make sure everything ran as smooth as could be. She was able to move things around from ceremony to reception, make sure guests knew where to go/what to do while we took pictures, and was also there to encourage us to have a great time while she handled everything. We are only one week and 2 days out after our wedding, but everyone keeps telling us about how much of a dreamy romance the day was and I can't help but to thank Katie for all her amazing work. You will not regret booking with them at all! read more

My husband and I worked with Emily and she did an incredible job! She was super responsive, detail oriented, calm, and on-top of everything! She made our wedding happen at a non traditional venue which required a lot of flexibility and she helped us make it happen! We hired her on as a day of coordinator but she helped us well in advance to make sure all our vendors were prepared in addition to the wedding venue itself. She was great working with our wedding parties and our families as well. We can be a bit loud but she respectfully got everyone's attention to make sure everything went as planned. Id highly recommend her! read more

Where do I begin? I really didn't think I needed a coordinator but my venue required one and I'm so grateful they did. Having Michele with me every step of the way through the wedding planning and day of was invaluable. She was right there by my side and available to give feedback and input when I asked. She clearly communicated with my vendors, took on all the orchestration of timelines and logistics. She advised on areas I was less familiar with (like insurance) and was able to help when budgets came in over what I expected so I could get things back on track. Given her experience, she's seen so many things and was able to offer advice to avoid making similar mistakes. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her. read more

Mia Bella Weddings truly exceeded my expectations! Emily Katz was my month of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. She answered any question I had, was super responsive on text, email, or call, and she made my wedding day run seamlessly. Always met me with a smile and willing to help with anything. I would recommend her to anyone :) read more

My husband and I held our wedding at Walnut Grove on May 6, 2022, and we had the pleasure of working with Katie McJimsey as our coordinator. I was very particular when it came to details, décor, and flow of the wedding, our main concern was that we didn't want to miss any part of the party and celebration. We wanted to thoroughly enjoy "our day" with all our family and friends as this was the first BIG gathering since COVID, and we wanted our Parents to do the same! We had a large group of guests with a big Italian family and at times it can be very difficult to coordinate to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time with our family, and Katie did an amazing job at making the day ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I put my full faith in Katie to make sure our personalities and preferences shinned through our details and she nailed it out of the park. Her level of communication was amazing, if any issues arose she remained calm and handled the situation! The preplanning and coordinating were also smooth sailing working with Katie, my mom and I did a lot of the wedding planning ourselves before speaking with her but she was able to guide us in the proper direction with her expertise in logistics, and flow, and experience working at Walnut Grove. I provided a lot of my own décor for the wedding and she advised me on how to properly organize it all to allow her to work efficiently and fast the day of. Hiring Mia Bella Weddings and having Katie as our coordinator was worth every penny! She made such a big impact on our wedding day, and we can't stop getting compliments on how perfect the day was! Katie, your work was 100% appreciated not only by us but also by our guests! Thank you again for making our wedding one of the best days of our lives! read more

Katie McJimsey was my coordinator for my wedding on 7/17/21. Bottom line is; she is everything you could possibly want or need in a coordinator. She is truly amazing. We postponed our wedding due to Covid, then opted to hold it in my family's backyard. Everything was pretty DIY and all over the place and Katie was so on top of everything and completely made our vision come to life with very little direction. I am still blown away at all she pulled off! She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect and went off without a hitch. Not only is she incredibly detail oriented and organized, she is also as sweet as can be. I will sing her praises until the end of time! If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator this is your sign to DO IT. It is absolutely worth the money and if you go with Katie, you can't go wrong! read more

I had my wedding at Walnut Grove and was connected to Katie McJimsey by Michele. Katie was organized, thoughtful, patient, and responsive. We had a small intimate wedding and didn't really know what we wanted at some points. Katie did an amazing job guiding us with suggestions that were in line with what we wanted for our wedding day. She kept everything organized with a workbook that made everything clear on both sides. The day of the wedding, she calmed our nerves and kept everything moving so smoothly. I cannot say enough how amazing it was to just show up and know that everything was taken care of. She decorated everything beautifully and even moved our arch flowers to our sweet heart table. I highly recommend her and can't thank her enough for making our wedding day perfect! read more

We hired Michele as our wedding coordinator and it was worth every penny! She was thorough and VERY well organized - which was a big plus for me. Her detailed wedding workbook took the stress out of planning our wedding. We felt respected and heard throughout the planning process and our wedding was a true representation of exactly what we envisioned. She was quick to return phone calls/emails, happy to support our officiant (it was his first wedding), and incredibly kind to all of our vendors, family, and friends. Thank you for helping us plan the best day of our lives! read more

We are beyond grateful for our incredible planner, Leeron. We could not have imagined a better wedding day and so much of it was thanks to her. Throughout the wedding planning process, from the start, Leeron was not only amazingly knowledgeable and supportive, but she was also so ecstatic for us as a couple. On our wedding day, there were multiple times where she went above and beyond supporting me as the bride. At every event throughout the day she was one step ahead of us at all times. As someone who was very nervous and hoping everything went well, I felt so confident and reassured by her. It made planning so so simple because of her amazing communication with us, and between us and our vendors. At the end of our wedding we had multiple friends ask if Leeron would help with their future weddings! We are eternally grateful and loved working with the most kind person in the industry. read more

I was introduced to Katie through our wedding Venue and was SO LUCKY to have her. She reached out immediately to schedule meetings, get an idea of who we were, and to help do just about everything. I was pretty stressed and forgot about a lot of little details and she helped me stay calm and on top of everything that I needed to do. She was there months prior to set everything up, was there for the wedding rehearsal and the day-of to coordinate everything and everyone, and helped with clean up as well. I could not recommend Mia Bella and their team enough to any couple looking for extra support. The day was so relaxing for us knowing I had her to take care of everything. read more

My husband and I had a lot of general ideas that we wanted for the day of and Katie really helped us bring all our visions to life and gave us amazing insight and advice to make the day be smooth and perfect! Katie was an absolute dream to work with! Honestly could not have had our wedding without her. She went far above and beyond what we'd think a "day of coordinator" would do and was really there for us every step of the way. 10/10 recommend read more

Katie was our coordinator for our wedding on 10/8/21, and she was a pleasure to work with. She's very organized and responsive. We had our wedding at Walnut Grove where she is extremely knowledgeable about the venue, their policies, and how events typically flow. With her experience at Walnut Grove, it was great to have a default, "this is what we typically do," for the stuff we didn't really care about, so we could make a quick decision and move on - Katie provides that perspective perfectly. She was also totally up for making adjustments and tweaks to the norm that ultimately reflected our personalities and preferences on our special day. By booking your coordinator with Mia Bella Weddings, all of the wedding planning that happens months (maybe even a year+) in advance is still going to fall on you, but having their expertise to guide you during those months, answer questions, and then really begin coordinating logistics and timing a month before through to the day-of made our wedding day less stressful. The thing about a good coordinator, like Katie, is that if they're doing their job right, you probably won't notice their impact on your wedding day, but just know that it's because they're intercepting and solving any problems before it even gets to you. Because of Katie, we could really focus on enjoying the day and being with each other and our friends and family. This is exactly why it's worth adding a wedding coordinator to your budget, and why I absolutely recommend going with Mia Bella Weddings. read more

We just got married at Walnut Grove a couple weeks ago and was connected to Leeron through Mia Bella and I cannot speak highly enough of her! From the moment she first emailed us to our wedding day she answered all our texts/calls extremely quickly and she was always incredibly kind and helpful. We had two in person meetings and both times she made sure to answer all our questions and go over everything in detail so we were always on the same page. She kept a running a workbook via google docs where every detail was documented and shared with us and we continued to make changes to it until everything was settled. It was so nice to be able to visually see the timeline and all the details and thanks to Leeron everything was very clear and organized. On our wedding day she went above and beyond to make sure all the working parts were in order, vendors were set up, decor was placed, and everything was PERFECT! If anything went wrong then she did a great job at hiding it! She worked so hard to make sure we had a perfect wedding all with a smile on her face! Would absolutely recommend Mia Bella and Leeron! :) read more

Michele Spring was my coordinator for my wedding at Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Ranch in Moorpark. She was also the best thing to happen to me during my wedding planning process. From the second we hired her, the stressful process of planning a wedding did a complete 180. She helped organize me, made me think of details I hadn't even considered, and made me feel confident about my wedding. I loved her questionnaire she sent me when we first started working together. It went through every detail and facet of the wedding. I used it as a checklist and organizer for myself as well. It brought up parts of wedding planning I hadn't realized needed attention, and I found myself researching those aspects. It is because of this that I was able to create a very personal, unique wedding. During the wedding (and still weeks later) guests commented about the details and thought put into every part (decor, ceremony, scheduling, layout) and gave me such praise for it. I, in turn, must thank Michele for making sure through questions and advice that our wedding was OUR wedding, and would be a vivid and happy memory for the rest of my life. As you know, planning a wedding is not all peaches and cream, but anything Michele could do to make it better, she did. She stayed in contact all year, checking to see what progress had been made, what she could help with, or what parts had changed. She never got frustrated or confused, and seemed to envision the wedding the same way we did. She gave me suggestions when sticky situations arose. She is so experienced with wedding planning and coordination, she's seen it all. There was nothing I could throw her way that she hadn't dealt with already (or at least something similar). She got in touch with all of my vendors, made sure everyone was on the same page, and cc'ed me on every email. I knew exactly what was going on and who knew and would be doing what. The rehearsal the day before the wedding made me feel confident and at ease. I had been a ball of stress for about 3 weeks before the wedding. Michele took charge of the rehearsal, thoroughly explained to my entire wedding party exactly what would be happening, and walked us all through it. I realized that everything would be fine at the wedding, and even if something went wrong, she would take care of it. The day of our wedding ran seamlessly. When guests showed up early and wanted to come see me while we were taking pictures, she politely guided them away from us and toward the lemonade. When we could not find the flower girl's bouquet, she tried to get in touch with the florist. When that didn't work (and it was almost time for the ceremony) she simply whipped a bouquet together, and it looked beautiful. When family members got together after the ceremony for pictures, she corralled them and calmed any confusion. I cannot say enough to praise Michele for all her hard work. My wedding was the best day of my life, and I have her to thank. read more

Amanda from Mia Bella Weddings was my coordinator for my wedding at Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Ranch. My wedding day was absolutely PERFECT and I have Amanda to thank for a lot of that. I tend to get stressed easily, but let me tell you, I did not feel stressed for one minute on my wedding day because Amanda was always there to take care of every detail. She took care of everything and more so that I didn't have to think about anything. My photographer even commented that it was the first wedding she had been to that ran perfectly on schedule! Almost everyone involved in the wedding commented to me how awesome Amanda was and how efficiently she took care of everything. Amanda helped with all of our questions before the big day and she packed up everything for us at the end of the night. I highly recommend Amanda; she will help make your day wonderful so all you have to do is enjoy it! read more

Absolutely amazing! If I had 10 stars,...I'd give em! I was referred to Mia Bella by my caterer when I asked for a Day-of coordinator. I am very on top of my game for planning and design, so knew I didn't need a wedding planner, but also knew I needed someone to make sure everything went perfectly the day of and I wasn't worried about anything. Mia Bella Weddings was the most perfect choice! I met with Michele (owner) and Kelly (her assistant). They were great. Very nice, personable, easy to chat with about my vision for the wedding. Michele had another wedding planned for that day, but Kelly was put in charge of my wedding. She was amazing! It was her first wedding as the lead coordinator and not assistant, but I could've sworn she'd done a million before! She was on top of every single thing. In the weeks before, we emailed and called regarding all the details. Vendors, arrival times, how I wanted the night to flow, time line, who'd be giving speeches and when, etc. She worked up a great timeline that we then massaged to perfection, and the day of she made sure everything went off as planned! She coordinated with all the vendors, got everyone in the right place at the right time, and generally made it a perfect evening. I had NOTHING to worry about since I knew it was all going to run smoothly since Kelly was so on top of things. All of my family and bridal party said she was a pleasure to work with, and she did a great job wrangling them all to be in the right place at the right time. It was a big, boisterous group, and getting them to behave is sometimes difficult, but she did it! At the end of the night, she gathered up all the things I told her I wanted to keep, and stored them away so I didn't have to worry about them getting thrown out or taken. We were married at a place that had a bridal suite where we were staying for the weekend. Her and her assistant straightened up (we'd be staying for days and the room was a disaster) and hung lots of our decorations from the reception in the room and put rose petals all over the bed! It was such a nice surprise as we had no idea they were doing it! Perfect ending to the night to walk into such a nice room! I would highly recommend Kelly and Michele for any bride! They'll make your night perfect and save you a million headaches! read more

Michele Spring is an amazing wedding coordinator! Working with her this past year has been such a great experience and now that my wedding is over I am sad to not be able to send her random emails about table set up and wedding timelines. She was able to not only coordinate a very rambunctious wedding party and our families/friends during our wedding but she took every one of my ideas and brought them to life right in front of my eyes. She is everything you want in an amazing coordinator: friendly, caring, thoughtful, creative and so much more. If you're getting married and are confused about how to even start planning, look no further. We booked Michele of Mia Bella Weddings to be our day-of coordinator for our July 2013 wedding at Walnut Grove - Tierra Rejada Ranch in Moorpark, CA and she was a lifesaver. She maintained constant communication, answered all our questions and gave great suggestions for vendors. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she worked with us to finalize a timeline, offered tips and suggestions and made sure every detail was covered. She directed our wedding rehearsal and the next day, our ceremony flowed perfectly. On the day of the wedding, she made sure that all we had to concentrate on was having a good time -- she took care of the rest and made sure everything went smoothly. Katie was my coordinator this May 2019 at Walnut Grove and I can't say enough lovely things about her. Not only is she incredibly sweet and so easy to work with but so organized! She confirmed every vendor and made sure everyone knew where and when they should be. The week of my wedding it was set to rain on my actual wedding day, so Michele and Katie came up with multiple plans and layouts for me to chose and help ease that the day would be beautiful and go as planned. They had plan a, plan b, plan c - all ready to go depending on the weather. Katie is the best coordinator out there. All my wedding party loved her and she made my wedding a dream. Where to even begin. Michele is INCREDIBLE. We were married at Walnut Grove and Michele knows that venue like the back of her hand. She orchestrated the whole day so flawlessly, with her super calm demeanor, her positivity and her efficiency. When things got off track with other vendors for the timeline, she kindly shifted things back. When I sat on some charcoal and had black smudges on my dress, she calmly ran to get 4 different types of spot remover to get it out. When I had a panic about our first dance being too late and wanting to lose the cake cutting, she talked me off a ledge and made everything work out so smoothly! She truly was a priceless hire for my day. And even leading up to the day she was wonderful. She had a workbook that helped me think of EVERYTHING for the day of, as to not miss one piece of the planning process. We had 3 meetings (some over the phone) leading up where she helped me figure out how we wanted the day to go, which decorations we were going to use or not use, literally everything you could think of. You cannot go wrong hiring Michele, she was a godsend and one of my favorite hires of the whole wedding. I'd give her a full 10/10, no question. read more

I met the owner of Mia Bella Weddings, Michele Spring, in January of 2009 when I visited Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Ranch. I was searching for a wedding venue, and Michele worked as the main contact for Walnut Grove. Although the property wasn't done with its renovations yet, Michele encouraged me to return that April for its showcase to see the upgrades to the site. My husband, parents, and I did return for the showcase and were very impressed. We booked the venue and hired Michele to be our day-of coordinator that same day. Although Michele was contracted to just be our day-of coordinator, she went above and beyond to work with us months before the wedding. She even gave me an opportunity to work a few weddings with her on the side to earn additional money for my own wedding since we were covering most of the expenses. Michele always goes above and beyond for all of her clients. I witnessed it first-hand. I usually like to take the reigns and be in charge when it comes to executing events, but I had full trust in Michele to do what needed to be done on my wedding day. I was shocked about how stress-free I was on a day that usually causes people so much anxiety. I was confident that Michele would make sure everything was taken care of, and many of my guests commented on her professionally and personally. She is incredibly sweet and considerate. I feel blessed to have met her and stayed in contact with her. Additionally, she has other coordinators on her staff (Monique Prieto and Soltana Mulhearn) who are just as organized, friendly, and easy to work with. I have to say that I think I took how amazing Michele was on my wedding day (January 20 at Camarillo Ranch) and at the rehearsal for granted until I was in a wedding party where the day of coordinator was more staff than guide. I now know that things going smoothly don't just happen by themselves and it was Michele who turned my (sometimes unusual) ideas into reality. I can't tell you enough how reassuring it was to have Michele on hand to keep us on schedule and executing everything we wanted.
