My wedding dress arrived 2 1/2 weeks before my wedding. The gown was incredibly big on me. I was panicked it would not be done in time nor look like my dream wedding gown. I don't understand why this business doesn't have more reviews and one negative review. I brought my wedding dress here to altered after calling around for different seamstresses. Funny thing is in calling one other alteration boutique they actually referred me to Patricia. That made me think that she is respected in this field since her fellow competitors were even sending clients to her. I bought my wedding dress a year in advance and by the time i came to Patricia my size 10 wedding dress had to be altered into a size 4 wedding dress. The whole chest area had to be reconstructed completely and that made me super nervous. My dress had these beautiful sleeves and they had to be cut as well and I just could not envision how she would manage to do this without the sleeves remaining the most beautiful part of my dress that I feel in love with. I had several fittings with Patricia and every time she continued to take it in more, so that the dress would look like it was made for me. At my last fitting my dress was perfect. I can't wait to wear it this Saturday I know it is wonderfully constructed. Oh and btw I was against having a bustle I just didn't think it was possible to have my type of dress bustled but when I told this to Patricia she replied by saying "you don't like bustles because you haven't seen MY bustle" lol. The bustle was included in my price so I decided to go with it. Something else Im glad I did. It's beautifully bustled but Im STILL not a fan of the bustle on MY dress but I like that I have the option since she constructed it with the option of the train just laying as is or it being easily buttoned up for dancing if need be. The alteration was a bit expensive but it was well worth it. You get what you pay for and I'm happy with it. The other great thing she also did was she atered my MOH (sister) dress at the very last minute upon request. My sisters dress was cute but it just didn't show off her cute little body so we asked Patricia to defrump it . When we returned Patricia turned the dress into a cute little trendy Audrey Hepburn dress. The style I exactly was going for. I think my sister is going to get more attention than me.lol The last awsome thing she did for me was she neatly packed my dress in my carry on dress for pick up since I was having a destination wedding. BONUS I wouldn't hesitate one bit to get future alterations done here. Dora and Patricia work very close together and they actually consult with each other in front of clients about what to do with the dress. You won't disappointed with either of them working on your clothing. My sister brought her dress here to be altered for her wedding, so naturally I brought my bridesmaid's dress as well for alterations. PATRICIA IS A GODDESS. Her work is literally flawless. My sister had to have 6 inches taken in from the sides of her dress and you wouldn't think she had any work done to the dress at all by looking at it now. The dress fits like a glove. My dress is also perfect, I only needed a hem and the straps shortened. The dress fits amazing. I just went to pick it up and her daughter Michelle was there and Michelle is just the sweetest thing, they were such a joy to try our dresses on with. Patricia did an incredible job altering my wedding dress! I went back 3 times leading up to my wedding day, and she made sure I was happy with my dress until the very last moment. She also altered my mom's Mother-of-the-Bride dress, which needed some work along the hem. Patricia suggested altering the dress on the bottom in such a way that would help my mom look taller than she is (she's a tiny 5 ft 1 in). Both of our dresses came out perfect! I cannot thank Patricia enough for her help, attention to detail, and passion for my wedding dress! We had a short turn around time frame due to family circumstances and I was still able to have multiple fittings to make sure my dress was perfect - which it was! It fit like it was made for me and the changes Patricia made were impeccable. She is worth every penny and then some. She not only worked on my dress, but also my MOH, Mother of the Bride, and Mother of the groom dresses. Everyone was beyond happy with her work. If I could give this lady -5 stars I would. I've never in my entire life been so offended, humiliated and disgusted. Extremely unprofessional! Going into the alteration she knew I was pregnant and still had about two weeks left before my wedding. I overpaid for the alterations that were done half-ass and when I asked her to fix what I didn't like her remark was "it's not the dress, your belly is too big" repeatedly. She then proceeded to say "didn't your mother tell you not to get pregnant before a wedding"... in front of my mother!!! And finally her last remark to me was "when I was pregnant my doctor told me that I had to lose weight", insisting I should probably do the same (mind you in 147lbs and 20 weeks pregnant now). It came to a point where I felt mortified and ugly and I didn't even wanna be seen in my own wedding dress that I was in love with before meeting this lady. I also asked her to used a piece of my moms wedding dress and sew a heart of her dress on the inside of my dress, well needless to say it looked like a paper snowflake done by a 4 year old that was sewn into my dress. I will never forget this horrible experience, sadly it will be remembered with my old wedding dress, since I have gotten a whole new one because of this experience. read more

I brought my gown in for alterations. Patricia cancelled my pick up dates twice. I didn't think anything of it. When I finally picked it up and brought it home I noticed black oil stains. Also a round pinkish stain. It looked smudged, as if someone tried cleaning it. I called and Patricia said she would not help me. It's now weeks before the wedding and there's nothing I can do. My daughter purchased her wedding gown at the Bridal Garden in Marlton. As she works in New York, she was not able to go back to the Bridal Garden on week days for alterations. They suggested we go to Patricia at Michelle's Manelli, as she has Saturday hours and is just across the highway from the Bridal Garden and also does their alterations. Patricia and Diane are so warm and friendly and nice. It was a wonderful experience. Patricia did such a beautiful job. The gown looked beautiful. It fit so perfectly. My daughter also had her alter her rehearsal dinner dress and purchased her earrings for the wedding there. They have lovely clothes and jewelry too. There are quite simply not enough words to thank Patricia for spending my wedding day with me and helping to make it the most perfect day ever. Patricia got to my house first thing in the morning, helped dress my sisters, dress my mom and grandmother, dress me, fix my train and sleeves, fed me granola bars and cups of water with a straw. She followed me to church, carried my train up the steps at church, and fixed my dress in the back of church for me to walk down the aisle. She positioned my dress and veil for my pictures, and carried my dress for me as I walked around for pictures. She was also a hit on the trolley with my bridal party; just a testament to her loving and fun personality! She came to the reception with me, iced my feet, got the dirt off of my dress, and literally hemmed it by hand on her hands and knees since the fabric stretched throughout the day. She also bustled my gown and fixed it since my dress got longer. I am sure I'm missing a million things that Patricia did for me on my wedding day but having her by my side all day was truly a blessing and I've told every bride since my day that they need Patricia on their wedding day. I purchased my wedding gown at Bridal Garden and got alterations done by Patricia. Every time I came for an appointment barely anything was completed. I figured since not much was needed, it would be finished in time. The Thursday before my wedding my mom and I went to pick up the dress. It was a complete wrinkled mess and the hem looked odd. My mom insisted I try on the dress because it just didn't look right. THANK GOODNESS I did. The whole thing was a mess. She never even worked on it!! She screwed it up and then left it. We were told to go over to this store to have her fix it. When Patricia got snippy with my mom and I and LAUGHED at me because I was upset she didn't actually fix anything, I lost it. I refused to leave the store and demanded the dress be fixed. It took over 8 hours being there for the dress to be fixed and Patricia didn't even fix it. The kind woman in the back did all the sewing and fixed my dress until it was perfect. So yes, the work was good but not until I demanded it be done and causing me so much stress 2 days before my wedding. I would never ever ever go back here and I tell all of my friends getting married to not use her from Bridal Garden. I've allowed myself to cool off for months before writing this review too! read more

I went in to michelle manelli's to have my MOB dress altered. I had bought it from Panena's in Marlton NJ and actually had an apt with their seamstress for my alterations, but after sitting and waiting 45 minutes for the seamstress to arrive, she never did. One of the managers of Panena's called Michelle Manelli's to squeeze me in since I had traveled quite a distance for my appt. Although grateful that they were willing to fit (no pun intended) me in last minute, I found the atmosphere of the store cold and unfriendly. After a quick assessment and some pins and tucks we proceeded to talk about when my dress would be completed and when I could pick it up. That's when she told me my total was $270!!!!!! Yikes!!!!! I'm pretty sure I almost past out at the counter. $270 was more than half the price of my dress. Considering it was for a hem and shoulder adjustment, this seemed like highway robbery so I decided I would not leave my dress but rather find a different seamstress. read more
