I gave them a wallet for reconditioning and I got it back polished. They are the drop off point for Pete's shoes in Runnemead, who I used when Pete was there. You can no longer talk with the shoe repair girl at Pete's because she got tired of dealing with customers. I dropped off a pair of Clark's shoes and was assured it can be fixed. I asked what if it isn't. The reply was "it will be". I got them back and the glue used let go in two days. I brought them Back and they said " well you know Clarks are not good shoes. They assured me of it being corrected. I got them back only to find that the shoe repair girl used a hard setting glue which started cracking during my first wear. Pete, God rest his soul, was great at the shoe craft.
