The following is a SIX-STARS review! ****** Very few places can make a customer feel so appreciated as to actually look forward to the once boring chore of taking in my dry cleaning for a routine refresh. But every time I'm there, I am greeted warmly by the very conscientious owner. The moniker of her store is "Sunny Days Only," and she truly lives up to that! And when I come back to pick up, she seems to want to retrieve the item almost from memory, as though the tagging system is there as a mere formality. From her approach, I can just sense that she takes great pride in her work, treats the items with singular care, and treats each unique customer as the most important at that time. This is so above and beyond the service I've gotten at any other similar "volume" business. I'm giving them four stars, even though I didn't actually use them. I needed a pair of shoes stretched just a tiny bit - the right shoe was hitting a part of my heel that made them uncomfortable to wear. I had the brilliant idea of bringing them to a shoe repair shop in to get them stretched out. The lady at the front was extremely nice and after looking at the shoes, politely advised that the way they stretched shoes would not work well for this particular type of shoe, it worked best for leather shoes. She told me sadly that I would be wasting time and money to even have them attempt it, but perhaps if I had leather shoes with the same problems, I could try them another time. Great service, friendly and they recognize you as a frequently flyer if you are one. On time the majority of the time and take special orders if need be (for emergencies and what not). If you have issues (like a tough stain, etc.) they'll take extra steps to do everything they can. I used this cleaner for the 6 years I lived in the area and was never disappointed. TERRIBLE business! Stay away from this business if you care about your items being damaged. Brought my king-sized comforter in for a cleaning. When I returned to pick up the item... it had a large, green chemical stain. First the woman (owner) argued with me that the stain must have been there. The stain was actually dry cleaning fluid residue. The woman asked for another week to tell the dry cleaning plant that processed comforter that they need to reclean the item and try to remove the stain. I go back a week later and sure enough, the stain is still present. I anticipated this, so I brought a copy of the receipt (from Macy's). The woman REFUSED to offer me anything as compensation for my ruined comforter. Get this... she wouldn't even refund me the $42 that she charged for the cleaning. And she actually said: Get an attorney, I'm not giving you ANYTHING! So please do NOT patronize this business. If they damage your item, they tell you to get an attorney. So now I have to go through the process of filing a claim in small claims court here in Camden County. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS, OR YOU COULD HAVE YOUR ITEMS PERMANENTLY DAMAGED. read more

Worst alteration job I've ever had done. I used to have pants hemmed here, so I figured it was a safe bet for my daughter's taffeta homecoming dress we bought used that came with a faulty zipper. My sewing machine broke trying to sew the zipper into my ruffle of the dress, so I cut the zipper back out. I had bought the zipper myself, old invisible zipper removed and dress was open seamed and ready for quick installation, so that work was done. Quoted me a price of $10-12, charged me $15, so I was expecting an invisible zipper line at that price. When I inspected it in the car, there were literally one inch gaps that had not been sewn together at all leaving bare skin exposed. The lining and fabric had been fused together, so the zipper can't fall naturally into the dress. The sides don't even match up in terms of the waistline. There's different amounts of fabric sewn into the wavy zipper line which looks like a ten year old sewed it and isn't sewn close enough to the zipper except maybe 1" worth, so it wasn't sewn with a zipper foot and nearly the whole ugly zipper is exposed (and why it didn't catch). There's no end stop to the zipper sewn in, so it's going to get stuck at the bottom every time. I would love to show you pictures of how they "fixed" it when I got back out of the car and took it in. They didn't cut the prior stitching out, nor did they even try to sew over the original stitch line. Just haphazardly sewed where it was left open leaving now THREE uneven visible black seams on the plaid dress. I literally think my 15 year old with one sewing class could have done a more professional job and I know I definitely could have with a more powerful machine. If they spent 5 mins doing this work I'd be shocked. Unreal. Thank God it's going to be dark in this dance. read more

Run by a pleasant and sweet Korean father and daughter, it's located across from the Westmont Patco. I've been going to Sun Cleaners for the past 3 years without any issues. They do dry cleaning, alterations, and shoe shine/repair. Although they send everything out, I like it because I can get every service fulfilled in one place. Once you start to develop a relationship with them, they'll also offer discounts here and there. I can't tell you how many times I've had to get things hemmed from them without any issues. I'll also get taps placed on my shoe. The prices on shoe shines aren't the best, but I'm essentially paying for the convenience of one stop servicing. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

This is our go-to dry cleaners - my husband routinely gets his suits cleaned here and is very pleased with the results. I recently took them a faux suede jacket that had some really tough stains on it and asked them to do whatever they could - to my astonishment, it looked brand new when I picked it up. I am planning on brining my daughter's christening dress to them soon because they do such a fabulous job, and I don't trust giving it to just anyone. Highly recommend! read more

If I could give more stars, I would. They are more than just a dry cleaner. They came through for us with our daughter's prom dress - and in a rush as well. I thought we had more time, I was wrong, but the dress still needed to be fitted and hemmed. We brought the gown to Sun Cleaners knowing their tailoring is outstanding. They really did pull off a miracle! The dress is extremely intricate and not an easy job at all. They basically had to re-design the dress, hemming a ballgown skirt with a train, bustling around the entire skirt and fitting the bodice. The owners are very friendly and value good customer service. Even more importantly, they're excellent at what they do plus the prices are great. Shirts cost $2, jackets are I believe $8. Not only did they have all of my clothes back within a couple of days, but the clothes looked practically brand new. Definitely give this dry cleaner a chance.
