My blazer was stained and no longer white!! Sadly, Prudy didn't even apologize or care!!! They are the middle person(nothing done in house) so they could care less about your belongings. This place is a gift shop who takes in dry cleaning and shoe repairs The best part is they talk to you like they're experts in everything. I gave them a wallet for reconditioning and I got it back polished. They are the drop off point for Pete's shoes in Runnemead, who I used when Pete was there. You can no longer talk with the shoe repair girl at Pete's because she got tired of dealing with customers. I dropped off a pair of Clark's shoes and was assured it can be fixed. I asked what if it isn't. The reply was "it will be". I got them back and the glue used let go in two days. I brought them Back and they said " well you know Clarks are not good shoes. They assured me of it being corrected. I got them back only to find that the shoe repair girl used a hard setting glue which started cracking during my first wear. Pete, God rest his soul, was great at the shoe craft. This 2nd generation shoe maker needs to go to a school to learn the craft. i can't stress enough: If you care about you shoes or clothing find another place Don't use this novelty shop. I LOVE this place. I've been using Perfect Press for a couple of years now and I've always received great service and for totally fair prices. The owner is really nice and very accommodating. I recently dropped off some pants to get cleaned and pressed and then realized I needed them WAY earlier than I thought. I called and she went to the cleaner herself to pick up my order early so I'd have my pants for the funeral. She truly went above and beyond! The real kicker, she didn't even charge me extra. They also have a small shop with a bunch of shoe and clothes cleaning accessories. The owner does shoe repair but I haven't utilized that service. Overall - great service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place if you need some clean and press services! read more

A++++ I was looking for a place to do shoe repair in the area for a pair of cowboy boots that I loooove. I found a few places that had good and bad reviews. But the bad reviews were always reeaalllly bad which left me afraid to bring my beloved boots to any of them. Perfect Press Cleaners was the only place that had only good reviews. I was hesitant because they were a cleaners place rather than solely a shoe repair place. But I was pleasantly surprised! The customer service was superb!! It's hard to find good customer service now-a-days, but you will find it at Perfect Press without a doubt!! They were straight forward about my options, and were very personable. They wanted what was best for my boots rather than what was best for them, which made me feel very good about leaving my boots in their hands. They kept me posted throughout the week about my boots. Their prices were very reasonable, and the service was outstanding. The boots were in better condition than when I bought them!! And they polished them as well. They went above and beyond! While at Pete's Shoe Repair in Runnemede, Rosanna told me I didn't have to drive to Runnemede, as her sister Prudy had a dry cleaning business in Haddon Heights where I could drop off my shoes. After reading a few good reviews, I decided to try this place. I live in Philly, but work in Cherry Hill, and the shoe repairs in Philly always have weird hours. I went to Perfect Press on my lunch breaks and have been back at least 8 times. I had a few shoes that needed new heels - $10. Had a pair of gold satin shoes that got destroyed at a wedding - she cleaned them perfectly for $10. I needed a few pairs of peep toes stretched - $8 a pair. Prudy is SO nice and does SUCH a great job. I've brought a pair of pants and a trench coat to be hemmed as well and all her prices are really reasonable and she does a great job. I've since moved for a job and I'm sad i can't get to her anymore. Super convenient for shoe repair and dry cleaning/alterations and super reasonable. So disappointed! I brought my daughter's beautiful dress in to be altered and discussed in great detail the very specifics of my request. The woman wrote down notes and my phone number, saying the tailor would call me if there was any confusion with the request. We had a wedding and my daughter was so excited to wear the dress. Dress was done early, but it was damaged along the seam line that was altered, and WORSE, my particular request to alter the chest was not done at all. I was even up-charged for the alterations to the chest, and had a long conversation about how this would be a more challenging task. I took the dress back a week later, and the woman-same person who took my orig order-was mildly concerned! She said my request must have been misunderstood because it would have cost even more. She was dismissive and unapologetic about the damage to my dress. There was no misunderstanding: I wanted the chest taken out of my 10 year old's dress because it was a junior-adult size. My daughter was discouraged and upset on an important night for us, when she should have felt like a beauty queen. Mistakes happen. Misunderstandings happen. But the way these people handle their business is enough to keep me from ever coming back! read more
