It needed to be taken in at the chest, waist, and hips, hemmed to the correct length, and bustled. I came fully prepared with my shoes, shapewear, accessories, and even my veil so the alterations could be done properly. I was told my dress would be ready July 31. On July 30, I called and asked if I could pick it up August 3 and was told it was ready. I called again on August 3 before leaving home and was again told my dress was ready. When I arrived, I was handed **someone else's wedding dress**. After the confusion, I learned that my dress was actually **not ready and the alterations had not even been started**. I received a call the very next morning saying my dress was finished. Considering it had not been started the day before, I was immediately concerned that the work had been rushed. When I returned on August 6, the fit was not right. The back was extremely tight, and the fabric was bunching around my waist and hips instead of laying smoothly. When I expressed my concerns, I was told that I had somehow gained **four inches in my back in approximately six weeks**. I was also told the dress needed to be let out again and that I would have to pay an additional $125, on top of the **$625 I had already paid**. When I picked the dress up again a few days later, the bunching was still there. At that point, I was told there was nothing more that could be done. Having wedding dress alterations done is stressful enough without being repeatedly told a dress is ready when it isn't, discovering the work had not even been started, being handed another bride's dress, and ultimately leaving unhappy with the fit after paying hundreds of dollars. I took my dress elsewhere to have the alterations corrected. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this seamstress for bridal alterations. My advice- STAY AWAY!!!!

Unfortunately, that meant I didn't go dress shopping until August 8th with our wedding week beginning September 1st. I knew the timeline was crazy, but after buying my dress off the rack, I still needed A LOT done in less than three weeks. The dress needed to be dry cleaned, there were tears in the mesh back that needed to be repaired, the zipper needed to be replaced, the straps needed work, cups needed to be added, it needed to be altered to fit me, and I still needed a bustle. I called so many places and was either turned away, quoted extremely high rush fees, or made to feel terrible for having waited so long. Stitch & Style had originally been highly recommended to me by the bridal shop where I purchased my dress, so when I was running out of options I finally called and basically said, "I know this is insane, I'm 3 months postpartum and getting married in 3 weeks...can you help me?" From that very first phone call, Natasha was SO kind, reassuring and completely nonjudgmental. She immediately made an incredibly stressful situation feel manageable and assured me that we could get it done before we left for Cape May. I was also so excited to find out they had just opened their Newtown location--I actually ended up being their very first customer there! Natasha made my dress a priority over those next few weeks and stayed in constant communication with me throughout the entire process. She even took the dress herself to the dry cleaner they work with so we could get that taken care of immediately before alterations began. She and her team accomplished an unbelievable amount of work in such a short period of time, and the finished dress fit PERFECTLY. I genuinely couldn't believe how good I felt when I put it on. Even at my final fitting, Natasha thought of the little things. Because my bustle tucked underneath the dress and wasn't necessarily obvious, she set up my phone and recorded a step-by-step video showing exactly how to bustle it so I could send it to my bridesmaids for the wedding day. That little detail says so much about the level of care she puts into her work. Considering everything they had to do and the incredibly short turnaround time, I also thought the pricing was extremely fair. More than anything, though, I will always remember how Natasha treated me. She made me feel like I had known her forever and turned what had become one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning into something I didn't have to worry about anymore. I cannot thank Natasha and her team enough. My dress looked and fit beautifully, everything was finished on time, and I got to leave for my wedding knowing it was completely taken care of. I first met my friends at Stitch and Style during a difficult time when I was dealing with some health issues. They were incredibly patient and understanding, never making me feel rushed, even when I wasn't sure how long I'd be able to stand for fittings. That kindness meant more than they probably realize. I'm extremely particular about my clothes, especially my jeans. When they're hemmed, I want the original seam preserved and the width at the bottom to look exactly the way it did before. They nail it every single time. The quality of their work is flawless. There have also been a few times when I needed alterations at the last minute, and they went out of their way to accommodate me. Then when we put on our tuxes on the big day, one of the ushers realized his collar was different from all of ours. Seriously, how does that happen? That looked just great. But that was nothing compared to how they stuck it to me. When you rent tuxes from J. Paglione on a Saturday, they want them returned on Monday. Well, they're closed on Sunday, and Monday is the one day of the week that they close at 6:00 PM instead of 9:00 PM. Neat trick, huh? I showed up with my tux on Monday at 6:05 PM, not thinking in a million years that they would close that early on the day they want their tuxes returned--and they were there but they wouldn't let me in. The next day they charged me a $20 late fee. I guess you can screw people like this when you're not depending on repeat business, but I know I will definitely tell people to stay away from these guys. J. Paglione is not only incompetent, they're ripoff artists.

Was told that they would look for it & call me back. About an hour later I get a phone call stating I never paid for my laundry. I stated I have the receipt & the attendant stated they called the wrong number. Then I get another phone call that they cant find my laundry and that I didn't pay for my laundry. I told them I was coming down there. By the time I got there they miraculously found the receipt ..but still my laundry was missing. I told them I wanted a refund & they lady told me she can't. It took a 1/2 hr of arguing to get my money back for a service that was not provided.
