And man, everything here is very clean, stocked and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly, on occasion when there is a line associates jump on registers. Often times you see this happen and associates frown upon doing so, no these people ( Well, I haven't witnessed it). I notice because I worked management for many years and now I tend to pay Xtra attention. Anyways, nice, friendly, fast and courteous service. I can tell a lot of time has been put in to filling this store with the latest trends, classic pieces and items that will flatter women of all shapes and sizes. They even had the cutest selection of baby and children's clothing that made me wish my kids were young again. Sigh... My husband accompanied me so I know he appreciated the sales rack! I got a few items from there that were just as cute as the regular priced outfit I got. I didn't have a lot of time but there were several shelves that had wonderfully scented soaps, jewelry, candles and more. Next time I am in Waco, I will make a stop to get some Christmas gifts for friends and family...and maybe a couple more for myself too. Carefully curated - it's very Chip and Jo. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and welcoming. We stopped by here around 2:00pm on a Saturday in August and I thought it was going to be packed, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was busy, but I expected it to be busier. There is free parking a few blocks away, which is super nice. There are several shops, a bakery, and a coffee shop. There is something for everyone. We really loved our trip here and hope we can come back again.

They have an excellent selection with reasonably priced inventory. One may mix & match the birdbath base / bowl as you prefer. Staff loaded my birdbath safely & securely in the back of my suv. Worth the 2hr drive from Dallas. I sealed the bowl with tung oil & painted the rest with exterior primer & paint. It seems to be holding up well.

It was a delightful experience. All provide friendly service and attention to detail. There is no cost to visit, but you may find their wares pricey. But you need to know that everything is handmade by experts in their craft. Their Homestead Heritage Cafe serves great coffee and is a delightful place to spend some time sipping a cup of coffee or tea. The Homestead Heritage Restaurant is worth the visit (make a reservation though as it fills up).
