I made a trip to Hobby Lobby to purchase a few charms to make wine charms. Upon arrival, i noticed there was a 50% off sale for exactly what i came in for which i was ecstatic about! I ended up purchasing a large amount due to the sale ending the next day and i didn't want to miss out on the deal. After going home and deciding on what i wanted to keep i took the rest back to return. No issues there. A few more days down the line i changed my mind again and needed less charms due to a change in guests for my event. So i had to take a few more back, unopened of course. This older lady... Debora.. was very passive aggressive with me. I was trying to make conversation and say how sorry i was that it was so complicated due to the last person marking all over the receipt with pen and making it confusing. She goes "well we know how to read it but when you do 2 separate returns it makes it confusing for us". In an annoyed voice. And so i go "well it would just be nice for you guys if you just needed to scan each item like every other store instead of needing to match up barcodes." Trying to show how i was being empathetic to her. That just really irritated me. It was so unnecessary to be that way. She didn't even say bye she just handed me my receipt and moved to the next person. read more

This review is not for the cashier, but for the manager who made a point to shame me for making a honest error and after I verbally owned that error. She was unnecessarily rude to me. I can't imagine the lengths she goes to for people who don't own their mistakes. Lane 1 was closed with a sign. I had an even exchange, to swap out the same fake flower for a different color and a stuffed animal I found while waiting in line. I explained I thought the returns/exchanges was only for lane 1 and I'd be sure to make a mental note for next time I'm in. She went out of her way to point to the line behind me and say "See all these people, you're putting them all out" and glared at me. It took all of 90 seconds for that manager who was standing just 3 feet away at the front of the store watching the lines to come approve my exchange. See receipt for the even exchange. They owed me a virtual penny. I'm not sure why she displaced her anger onto me but I was polite and took ownership of my error thanking her for approving it and shaming me was her response. I love hobby lobby as a general rule. It's an awesome store for crafting but also for home decoration. You could always find what you're looking for. I'm sad they got rid of the coupon but they have held true to their promise to offer some really amazing deals. There's always great sales going on. My only complaint about this location is that it is always so busy. It always takes at least 20 minutes or longer to get through the line. I don't think there's really much they can do about it because every registers open but it's just crazy busy. I have found myself going to Michael's to avoid the crowds, in hopes That I will find alternative items, but I rarely do. So guess I will just tolerate the lines lol. Hobby lobby is worth it! The parking lot is huge but parking is usually a bit of an issue but there are spaces always available further out in the parking lot. read more

I'm always a fan of Hobby Lobby because they have cheap cheap decor for the home if you catch one of the many sales they have. I absolutely love coming here to acquire new wall decor, but I don't quite understand when things are on sale and when they aren't. My friend sent me a pic of wall decor being 60% off but when I went during the same week, they weren't on sale at all. If you've never been here, I would recommend only purchasing items when you can get at least get 40% off them. There is always a 40% off one item coupon online and things will be anywhere from 40-60% off in store. read more

Its 107 degrees under the shade in the refrigerator, and the Hobby has decided to stocked its Lobby full of Christmas stuff. I have never felt so sad for the holiday, I have never felt so sad for the store, I have never felt so sad in General. I see the spirit of Christmas being pimped out earlier and earlier every year, just so the stores can cash in on a once beloved holiday. This store is located right by the Chili's in Waco, Its a very big store, its got a lot of the creative things you'll need for your everyday crafts. If you see it on Pintrest for creating crafts, then its got the material here. It generally always has some sort of sale going on, and they usually but not always have a holiday clearance isle thats worth a look. After every one of the good things about this store its not the cleanest looking store, it appears fairly old. Also, Do. Not. Go. To. The. Bathroom. Here. The bathrooms here are atrocious. As far as customer service goes, they aren't great. You are not greeted when you walk in, and unless you seek out an employee, they will pass by you without a word. The building itself is also a bit old. Bathrooms are AWFUL. Do not use them. Ever. Now, for the products, these guys have almost everything for artists, crafters, decorators. I love hobby lobby. It has a huge variety of supplies and home home decor items that other competitors don't have. The only reason I have given 4 instead of 5 stars is because they are a bit overpriced, they need better customer service and they are closed on sundays (which is usually my only day off and time that I start my crafts) other than that, I like the selection and it's huge! read more

The manager was so incredibly rude. I was told, "when have we EVER done it that way?!" and "well we don't do that in MY store", both in regards to a simple misunderstanding about the check out lines. I have never had a bad experience at Hobby Lobby and am not one to write reviews but I will never go back there again!
