Not sure why I never did a review for this artsy emporium but Its long overdue so here it is. Purchased a bunch of blank t-shirts here for my creative touches. Also fabric glue and glass beads to decorate my glass vase and stickers for my scrapbooking projects. Always a big Halloween and Thanksgiving merchandise push here during October. Haven't been in one of these in a while! It was clean and had a lot of craft supplies and some sales. I am not crafty enough to rate the crafting selection but it was nostalgic walking around. They didn't seem to have a lot of people working but the cashier was polite. read more

ARTS AND CRAFTS FREAKS DREAM STORE. This store has every crafy and artsy item available. They have a big framing section in the back of the store. Buttons, glitter and paints everywhere you look. They have clearance bins and deep discounted holiday items too. I have purchased and used the T-shirts for ironing patches also bought here. This a school teachers heaven. They have gift card for sale and Easter baskets. Staff are walking around stocking items and willing to assist. read more

Are used to shop at Michael's a lot back when are used to scrapbook nowadays I don't visit as much. I came to this particular store which is located in sunrise Boulevard across from the Sawgrass Mall with a friend as she was looking for some Valentines Day decor. It is a very big store and is very well stocked and organized. I was also very surprised to see they sell Glowforge and its materials. I have a laser cutter, not a Glowforge but the same concept and I bought some of the wood, which I thought was well priced for being something that is brand-name. It seems to be a little cheaper than their own website even. I was also able to use the coupon Michaels provides in their app for 20% off. The cashier was nice and friendly. The only issue I have with this store is their lack of assistance on the floor. I literally didn't see anyone who worked there other than the cashier. I am sure there was other workers but they must be few and far between. And with the store being so big, I wouldn't walk around looking for someone to help me. They should have call buttons. I don't know if they do but I didn't see any other than at the framing counter. It would make things a little easier for the customers. The one thing that I love about Michael's is their scented candle section. Everyone has their favorite scent, so you can choose what you like. They have great variety and they usually are on sale....ranging from about $2-$5 any day you shop the store. It's an easy way to try different Holiday scents for not too much money...and you get them on sale usually from September to December. Cash registers can get busy...so there was a long line when I went to check out, but it's worth it. Also, lots of DIY stuff for decoration, home, etc.... read more

I usually shop at the Michael's near University and have consistently had great experiences there. However, I recently decided to purchase from the Sawgrass location because their online inventory showed they had the items I needed in stock. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was not greeted with even the most basic courtesy or respect by the front-end clerk. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional from the start. I was then told that one of the shirts I ordered was not available--even though their system showed they had maybe 30 plus in stock. When I questioned this, the front-end clerk abruptly told me she had called and left me a voicemail the day before. However, I received no missed call or voicemail from the store--something I double-checked. And when I shared that I double checked, she accused me of providing a wrong number. Her tone throughout the conversation was unnecessarily rude and condescending, making the situation even more frustrating. The store's manager or supervisor on duty did step in and was very kind and personable. She explained there may have been a company issue with SKU confusion between youth and adult sizes. While I appreciated her professionalism, it's still unacceptable that such a large inventory discrepancy exists--especially when the University location seems to manage their counts accurately. This experience left a lot to be desired, and I strongly suggest that the Sawgrass store re-evaluate who they have positioned to welcome and assist paying customers. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, the employee I dealt with reflects poorly on the Michaels brand. read more

Looking for a nice basket to store our blankets for movie-watching, I went in after scoping out other nearby stores. I was so happy to find my basket right away, and at 50% off the regular price. Since the store wasn't too busy, and it was orderly, I carved out some more time to look through the aisles for something that would be a good find for the upcoming holidays. They already had all of their autumn and a lot of their Christmas decor out on the shelves just waiting for a good home!! Seems as though most of us are not in celebration mode--rightly so--but we have to stay positive and optimistic, especially for our young ones. So, I bought some cute things for our dining room table, which I will decorate soon and it was an altogether nice browsing experience--good therapy if you will!! And I enjoyed the extra savings with the weekly coupons they advertise; yay!!! read more

This is my go to store for picture frames. Why because if you are getting frames to hang in your home this is the place that has it all. To high end custom framing which I have done in the past. For this particular visit I went to a location close to my work and ran the errand during lunch time. Very easy shopping center with plenty of parking. Once inside you know just head to the back of the store. I chose a glass frameless frame that has modern metal clips to hold the print in place between the clear glass. I brought the picture with me so to know that it will look great. Pricing is always great so no need to wait for a sale. Today I got in and out of there for under twenty dollars. Now just to go home and find the right place to hang it. read more

GREAT LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HUMAN Decency. A very RUDE Camila helped my daughter find yarn that my daughter needed that she found very quick but my daughter didn't see and when we went up front to pay for it Camila didn't know we where there and proceeded to tell her work friends about how fast she was and said "BUT SERIOUSLY WAS SHE BLIND"! (Referring to my daughter) My poor daughter heard this and walked out with me still on line trying also to return a rancid bag of candy that they wouldn't take back. Asked for a manager and they produced a very young nasty girl I think by the name of Ana. Ana was extremely rude and when I asked for her district's and store managers name she flat out refused to give to me and proceeded to give me a number to contact with too many numbers in it. I then found out what had happened to my daughter and confronted both of them and all Ana could do was push me and my spouse out the door threatening to call police on us for asking why her worker BULLIED my kid in-front of three other workers. So she started to raise her voice at us and a customer started to flip both her birds at us. Store is ran by children that are there to make fun of customers and bully kids. Worst part is that my daughter was crying hysterical in the car asking why people have to be that rude. I told her maybe she has a terrible life at home and needs to take it out on n innocent child. My daughter went back in to ask Camila why she did what she did but she wasn't there and the girls behind the counter, NOT the rude "manager" were so sad and said that they were going to talk to her about what she did. Of course we won't be going back anytime soon. Side note my young daughter wears glasses. This was very uncalled for! read more
