Because I was driving, I was unable to get a picture of the truck, but it did not have a cover on its load. I called them immediately when I got home. let them know where and the time, and when they got back to me, they mentioned they had two trucks at that time on 111. One had low trailer, one had a high trailer. I told them it was the one with the high trailer and again mentioned there was nothing covering the load on the trailer . They did call me back and gave me the name of their insurance company, it took me nearly a week to reach the insurance company, and when I did, the insurance company said they would not cover it. because it was only my word and there were no witnesses. I was quite offended with that response. Considering they were able to check the GPS and there was two trucks in that area at the time, I would think they would take responsibility, especially because the load was not covered. I was not making up a story, and considering I was driving, I was not going to try taking a picture, which is unsafe while driving. I don't recall the name of the insurance company. but I would've thought they would use someone who is a little more decent. I don't want to claim it on my insurance because of my deductible, and I really don't think it's fair that I have to pay nearly $800 to replace my windshield because of the irresponsibility of one of their drivers not covering his load.
