At first I thought my sister was crazy for agreeing to let Teserra do her backyard at Cotino in Rancho Mirage while her house was under construction. She wanted it finished when she moved in March which ended up to be a fabulous idea. I thought the price was outrageous however after seeing the amount of time and work her project took before, during , and after I agree this was the only way to go. The amount of money was justified by the scope of the project. They are the only ones that Disney allows to landscape in the community. Good choice by Disney. They have a Beautiful design center if you would like to be a part of the process. If not, they are capable of planning your project. My sister lived out of town so I worked with Graham and Gregory for many days just in the planning stage because my sister has a very large lot somewhat pie shaped and hard to figure out. She did not want a pool just two separate water features. Gregory was very patient with the plans and plant selection. We even met him at their nursery to pick out all the trees and plants! And Graham is such a nice man , extremely knowledgeable, and he tries very hard to please and always comes through on his word. This is our second pool construction with Teserra, and once again we could not be happier with the result. We started with Graham Balog, who could not have been more pleasant, professional and helpful as we worked through design decisions and finish choices. This was a 25 yr old pool which we were renovating out of necessity, as we had a water leak under the monolithic pour concrete deck. He worked to get us the most style without compromising on quality within our budget, as had been our experience before. We then were placed in the very capable hands of our project manager, Matt Claborn, who worked with on a starting date and who carefully outlined the project completion timelines. He was always available for any questions we had , worked with us on finalizing the plan and finish choices, and introduced us to our project supervisor, Moises Ramirez. Moises was a constant presence during the entire project, carefully scheduling and managing all of the many contractors involved in the project, which resulted in an on time and on budget beautifully detailed pool, renovated to current codes and specifications. We had the opportunity to have a collection of subcontractors that could not have been more respectful of our property and project, and who delivered an extremely high quality and beautiful product to us. Once Adam Rodriguez is done ripping you off, good luck trying to get anything done by this company including customer service. The tiling was cracked upon delivery and the grout was uneven and rushed, leaving considerable gaps along the skimmers. I had to have my own vendor come in to fix their mistakes because no one at Te-shitty would finish the job. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. read more

Once you get on the schedule/radar of Teserra; which could take a minute because they are super busy and only take on few bigger installs at a time. They really do excellent work from start to finish and were well worth the wait. What I most like about this crew is how thorough they are with making sure you know all the options that are possible and help you to make an informed decision on solutions for your desired outcome. We had a heat-pump installed because we want to swim all year round and it is far more cost efficient than running our natural gas heater alone all winter. The electrical team that Teserra works with was also wonderful. They were able to string all the electrical through an existing tube that runs under the house to the electrical box. It was not an easy task since the tube was already stuffed with wires with little room to spare, somehow they made it work and it took much finesse from what I could see because it took nearly all day but the team did not give up and got it done. Finding a company to install a heat pump that knew what they were doing is not an easy task. Finding a pool company that is a pleasure to work with can also be difficult. You won't have that problem with Teserra. They are not the cheapest in town but by far not the most expensive either. All of the work they did as a whole was done at a fair price and I know that I don't have to worry about any crappy work breaking down because it was done right by Teserra and friends. I truly believe you get what you pay for and we were shown great value from Teserra. Ryan handled supervising getting the work done on my large pool which required draining water, carefully removing all the tiles so it would not hurt the pebble tech, putting new tiles on, and putting the water and system back , fixing my autofill , and even more things.
