Having moved into a house in Sun City Palm Desert in late September, we realized that the very bare back patio needed some serious attention. We met Hector in October and really liked his approach to drawing up a new look for our garden. All we had were several of the usual boxwoods, caesalpinia, and a lime tree. The new image had to be colorful so we approved the 5 yellow trumpet flower bushes because we love the hummingbirds and pollinators so much. Two additional spots would be occupied by two very generous ocotillos, always a favorite. We needed front and back faucets to be upgraded and a regular maintenance team as the spring season requires. We made a date for work to start in early December due to all of our personal commitments. The initial crew worked to rearrange the rocks in the patio area and set up the plantings. They are hard-working and knowledgeable and we appreciated the changes they made. Scheduling is easy with Hector because he responds to messages quickly and he is flexible and understands the importance of the client's needs. This past week the team arrived to prep the ground in the semi-circle of turf and to rearrange the rocks and clean up. We watched them work so hard from early morning to dusk and the results are pretty wonderful!! Should you decide to engage Hector's team you will be impressed by his obvious enthusiam for producing high quality results.

His plan was professional and inclusive enough to gain approval of our neighbors, HOA, and it satisfied the CVWD requirements to enable us to receive a rebate for the turf conversion. The driver did not stop when I honked. I knew it was the company because their company name is listed on the back of the trailer. When I reached out, the owner was at first sketptical and then thanked me. However, he is not cooperating with insurance companies and instead being evasive and not taking responsibility for his and his employees neglient actions. I highly reccommend you stay away from this company and these people. Let this be a lesson to everyone that this is the kind of people they are...and do you really want to do business with them. Probably not. Avoid.

By far, Gerardo's turf samples were superb. I was happy with the quality of it. His quote wasn't the lowest but it was within range of where everyone else was at. We had concrete put in a few weeks ago and the final step of that was to place turf in between it. The work started quickly and was finished faster than I expected. We are in a new build and we have plenty of work to do but this first phase looks amazing with the turf! Thank you!

I kept changing the plans with additional work and Obebd only said yes. He was 100% accommodating to everything I asked for and was always on time getting things done. We removed 7 palm trees, some existing 20 year old concrete and installed new pavers, rocks and boulder, plants, sprinklers and outdoor lighting. His 3D plans should have been approved in a day but our HOA took over 3 weeks to approve our plans but Obebd kept working making things happen. The crew showed up everyday between 7:05 and 7:30 and finished around 2:30 - 3:00 with clean up. His 4 man crew were extremely hard working even in the extreme summer heat. We had numerous quotes and Luxury was not the cheapest but his design ideas and integrity made it worth doing business with Luxury Landscaping. I firmly believe you get what you pay for and this company delivers that promise.

They were fast and efficient, always cleaning up before the end of the day. It rained a lot of the time they were working and they still made it happen. We have never done business together because he was too impatient to resolve his technical issues with my willing staff. In fact, I pointed out that my company offers a service that is widely available in the state of Colorado, and he can choose from any of them. What makes me different is that I do things on a very, very small scale from my house. I cater to dogs who are anxious or in need of a smaller environment with less dogs. Simply put, I do things my way. The company is, "Kat's K9s" for a reason. Next, the phone number associated with my business belongs to me and has dual purpose. Therefore, I will answer when I am able. I digress. My intention here is to return the favor since he did try to advertise his services to me during our initial phone conversion and via email (prior to my old dog being rushed to the vet, unbeknownst to any of us). I would have loved to have an opportunity to receive services from this company, but based on the interactions I have had with Mr. Edward, I am less likely. To clarify, Mr. Edward had a polite tone and gave me the impression that he was very understanding during our initial phone call. However, when he was unable to reach me due to my personal emergency and calling multiple times, his disrespect was clear. Mr. Edward caught me at a vulnerable time when I could not get to my phone. Any pet owner interested in my services should (and has) understand this scenario. Honestly, this could've all been resolved, had he gone through the proper channels to contact my staff as instructed. Anyway, due to this experience with the owner, I'm no longer inclined to consider this company for my landscaping or backyard water feature needs at any point in the future. I'm sure there are many landscapers to choose from in my area, and his company is probably as good as it looks (truly, it looks amazing). But, one of the contributing factors to choosing a company is how they align with my values. Ponderrific Adventures missed the mark.
