They estimated our wait time for a later lunch to be 25 minutes- and it was quite accurate. The tables were kind of cramped together- but they made it work. Our party of four ordered a steak sandwich, buffalo sliders, prime rib and fish and chips as well as french onion soup. I thought the French onion soup tasted delicious- I appreciated the seasoning. Everyone devoured their meals. The fish was freshly breaded and fried and melted in your mouth. We look forward to returning during a less busy time. This will be our first choice of restaurant while visiting our daughter at UConn.

Local dive bar with decent bites…read more Drove by this place and the promise of taco Tuesday. Decided to drop in randomly and see if was worth the trek. Outside is pretty plain, inside is very much a bar. Dark, lots of political memorabilia, a single u bar top with a smattering of tables and chairs. Bartender was friendly, took my order and chatted with the other guests. Lots of locals were there, enjoying a beer while chatting with their friends. Most ordered the pizza, I opted for a burger with curly fries. Pizzas were small but topping laden, so I can see the appeal. My burger was not bad, I got onions and mushrooms on mine but it was only a sprinkle of both. Burger was cooked well, bun toasted and juicy patty. Curly fries were crispy and ranch was a reasonable brand. It was frozen, but they are not trying to be gourmand eats. It's a decent quality frozen patty, decent bun, and cooked well enough. Price was about 17 bucks with all the add ons. Not bad but not worth the surcharges. It's a place to get a bite to eat if you need a bite. It's not the food that brings you here, it's the company you bring and the memories you forge. In which case, this place is good enough for that functional meal.

There's a full bar and a little lounge area with sofa seating in the front. There's bar tops and high tops as well. There's ample space in the dining area with booths and tables. Very tidy and clean. The flight of margaritas was delicious with different fruit flavors. Buffalo chicken dip was a great appetizer that could feed a few people. The grilled Cobb salad was AMAZING! I didn't know what dressing I wanted so I got the cucumber wasabi and balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The cucumber wasabi was what intrigued me and it was so delicious. A hint of wasabi flavor but not too much to overpower the palate. I ended up enjoying it more than the balsamic vinaigrette. There was fresh cooked bacon, corn, eggs, grape tomatoes, avocado, cheese, olives and a beautiful mix of greens; all super fresh and delicious. I can't wait to return!

You stop at this place to douse yourself with body pickling liquids, eat a reheated piece of pizza, and maybe watch a sports event. Ted's knows what is and delivers that to the customers. I will say for a college bar, the bartenders were very attentive and great drink pourers. We were in there during graduation and never waited for a drink.
