Outside is pretty plain, inside is very much a bar. Dark, lots of political memorabilia, a single u bar top with a smattering of tables and chairs. Bartender was friendly, took my order and chatted with the other guests. Lots of locals were there, enjoying a beer while chatting with their friends. Most ordered the pizza, I opted for a burger with curly fries. Pizzas were small but topping laden, so I can see the appeal. My burger was not bad, I got onions and mushrooms on mine but it was only a sprinkle of both. Burger was cooked well, bun toasted and juicy patty. Curly fries were crispy and ranch was a reasonable brand. It was frozen, but they are not trying to be gourmand eats. It's a decent quality frozen patty, decent bun, and cooked well enough. Price was about 17 bucks with all the add ons. Not bad but not worth the surcharges. It's a place to get a bite to eat if you need a bite. It's not the food that brings you here, it's the company you bring and the memories you forge. In which case, this place is good enough for that functional meal.
