Food was good, not a fan of the cheese plate, but my husband loved it. Everyone's meal was really good we all enjoyed it, our waitress serving us was fantastic. We had to do a quick in and out as we were running late to meet our other kid. Recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

The beer selection is always solid--plenty of familiar favorites plus a few rotating picks that keep things interesting without overwhelming you with choices. The Irish‑leaning menu is where they really shine. Comfort classics, generous portions, and that cozy pub vibe that makes you want to settle in for a while. Whether you're craving something hearty or just need a plate to go with your pint, they've got you covered. Live music adds a great energy without drowning out conversation, and the staff deserves a shoutout--they're faithful, friendly, and keep the place humming even on busy nights. You can tell they care about the regulars and newcomers alike. Not quite a perfect five, but absolutely a Mystic go‑to when you want good beer, good food, and a warm pub atmosphere. Cheers

The French fries come out hot (temperature), freshly fried and are not greasy at all, and very tasty. Tonight, I tried the fried buffalo chicken wrap with ranch sauce. It was excellent. My husband had the meat lovers flatbread. He said it was very good, but the portion size was small. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. Tried again, better but still lacking…read more Been a while since I've been to this location. Decided to give them another try and see if things have improved. Place was dead when I wandered in. Just myself and a couple other patrons at far sides of the place. Bartender was playing waitress as well. Very nice but very casual. Opted for their fruit juice mocktail and the jammin burger with loaded fries. Food and drink came out quick, so I took my pics and dug in. The mocktail was pretty much orange and pineapple juice with a fruit garnish. It was fine for what you got, and the price was reasonable at 4 bucks. Nothing special, but something to sip on if you're with company. The burger was executed flawlessly. Cooked well, not seasoned but done so with intention. The buttered bun and jam were salty to begin with, so they chose to unseason the burger, relying on the condiments to balance the dish out. The chef has skill, and you can tell it by their preparation. The trouble was the quality of the ingredients. The burger is straight ground meat, pressed to a patty and frozen. The chef did what they could to gussy up the burger, but was working with ingredients they could not control. When they had control in the ingredients and preparation, they put in care. The actual burger patty was very much the biggest detriment to the dish. The fries were good, cheap cheese and bagged fries but ample amounts of toppings and cooked perfectly. Good, but there's evidence that there could be something better. As a chain location tied to a bowling alley, it's perfectly fine pub bites. The servers are nice, but I feel that the chef is constrained. If given the opportunity, the chef could produce some magic on the plates. but they are stuck to the playbook, the source ingredients and the margins they need to stay in. That cheapens the food to cookie cutter molds and is a crying shame. The foods acceptable, the staff is good, and the venue is clean. One day I hope they can shed the chain and let the chef take the wheel. till then though, it's okay

We stopped by recently in the middle of a game and got food quickly. The dry rub wings were recommended for good reason. Excellent. And the buffalo chicken egg rolls are not to be missed as well. THE FOOD My friend and I decided to go here for the $10 beer & burger lunch special advertised every Tuesday-Saturday. I frequently walk past the sign advertising their deal and when my friend said we should grab lunch I immediately suggested this spot for that reason. It was a Wednesday afternoon at 12:30, but unfortunately we were told we could not have the special since they don't do it on game days. The game wasn't until 7pm but it must be an all day game day thing. Disappointing but we moved on. Grilled chicken sandwich -nicely toasted bun, flavorful seasoned chicken, good aioli. If I came back I would eat it again. -fries were pretty good too. -after paying and looking at the receipt I realized I was charged more for the sandwich than what was printed on the menu (didn't say anything to them) Sweet & sour cauliflower -my friend enjoyed it. Said the sauce was good. They were small baby cauliflowers but a decent sized appetizer for one. Not much for a large table to share but fine for ~2 people. She wanted something small for lunch so it worked out well. THE DRINKS -after not being able to do the deal with the beer my friend went with the angry orchard on tap -I got a screwdriver. It was fine, a basic well drink. Didn't taste the vodka really so not sure how much their standard pour is. THE SERVICE -service was polite, attentive -we were the only ones in there for most of our time, so I'd be curious how service is when they get a bit busier. THE ATMOSPHERE -typical bar/restaurant vibe -nice bar, it seems like a cool place to hang out and watch the game Overall it was a nice lunch catching up with my friend and I'm glad I was able to check out the new location. The food and drinks were good--what you'd expect for a typical bar & restaurant and it's a nice, friendly, clean environment. If someone wanted to go back here I would join but it wouldn't be first on my list to recommend in Storrs Center. I ended up spending about $30 on a lunch I was expecting to spent around $13 on, so I'd say check the game day schedule so you aren't disappointed like us. Overall I'd probably rate this closer to 3.5 stars so I rounded up to 4.
