I was not impressed with this store. My mother and I were in this area and I'd googled the website…read moreand was looking for a specific type of yarn. We walked in and were greeted immediately and asked if we needed any help. I told them what I was looking for and they directed me to the selection of yarn that they offered. The second person that directed me to their selection was nice, enough. However, as I walked around the store, I felt that I was being watched, which is an uncomfortable feeling, as most could understand. After I found a suitable yarn, I asked about double-pointed needles and again gave the specifics of the needle type I was seeking. They kept their needle selection behind the counter and the lady helping me wasn't sure if she even carried the size I was looking for, which isn't unusual, but they were able to locate some. As I went up to the counter, the original person who greeted rang me up, but she just simply wasn't friendly. Although she was pretty nice to the person who was at the counter at the same time as me. I won't say this shop was racist, but they were definitely not welcoming to my mother and I. Since I live out of state, it's not a hardship to not return here. And it's far out of the way of where my family lives, so I won't ever be tempted to return again.

It's okay. Selection was good , not great. My biggest turn off was they weren't friendly until I…read moreengaged them and they realized I was into the higher end yards.. they could learn a thing or two from my favorite yarn shop in Brevard.. if you are wanted clientele that are willing to pay $15-60 a skein for yarn then hospitality is the way to go.

BUYER BEWARE. Yesterday I went to this store looking for furniture paint. I met a woman named Mary…read morewho said she sold the type of paint I was looking for. She was friendly and showed me many options and told me about all the different products. I picked out a large paint, two small waxes, and a topcoat. She rang me up and thanked me. I spent almost $82. Today I held the unopened jar next to my wall and noticed the furniture paint was too similar to my wall paint so I called the store to speak to Mary and let her know I need to exchange the paint for a lighter shade. Maureen answered the phone. She said Mary was not in today. I explained the situation expecting to hear good customer service and instead Maureen told me that they "don't take returns, don't give refunds, and don't do exchanges". She said it's posted on the receipts! So I look at my receipt and sure enough it's posted on my receipt where the only way I'd see it is to first buy something. I of course objected. She said it's posted at the front of the store. I'm appalled that this store does not have a policy in place to ensure everyone who works the registers explains their "no returns/no refunds" policy upfront and before the purchase is made! The paint is $26.95 for a 16 ounce can!! It's still sealed with the plastic wrap around the lid, no attempt has been made to open it and this store and their owner/vender employees wont allow me to exchange the paint for a lighter shade. I'd give this store a zero star if I could, for POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and UNCLEAR UNSTATED & UNREASONABLE RETURN POLICY.

Absolutely THE WORST craftsmanship and customer service. I've had to come in for a total of 6 times…read moreduring the last 7 months for mistakes they've made or oversights on their part with frames that cost around 3k. The Great Frame Up pays zero attention to details and the quality of work they will give you is by no way the standard of a custom framing shop that I've ever been to. The frames had scratch marks, fillets were broken, the glass had streak marks from the inside, the artwork were never flat, 2 out of 4 were hung upside down, and one of my 4 diplomas that I had framed were a different color wood. Each time I brought it in, I explained the mistake, and left it to them to correct. I never asked for anything else except that they correct their mistakes and was extremely patient. Finally, my last attempt was after finding a scratches on the 4 diplomas and seeing the inconsistency in sizes among the mats and frames, as well as the fillets, I called the owner Chali, who was EXTREMELY rude and blamed me as I've if was the one providing her with the faulty product.. I took the frames to another shop who also claimed that the quality was terrible and that she has had other customers come in with similar complaints (see David S.) below. The other framing shops suggested I call Chali and ask for the names of the frame so that I can redo them. Chali refused to let me know what the names of the company I ordered from and said that she does not need to provide me with that information. Working with Chali and the Great Frame up has been a truly frustrating and upsetting situation. A huge waste of time, and resources and despite all that Chali could have just been gracious and given me the names of the frames I selected. If this was an isolated incident, I would be more understanding but due to the poor customer service combined with the terrible craftsmanship, I would suggest you go elsewhere.
