I visited this location around 11:00 a.m. My daughter and I have been frequent customers over the past few weeks as she redecorates her home. We have been delighted with the selection and quality of merchandise at HomeGoods, making it our first choice for home shopping. Over the last two weeks, we have purchased several items for her home, and during this visit, I was looking for a recliner for myself. Since I am on a fixed budget, this was a significant purchase for me, and I wanted to ensure I made the right choice. As I was browsing, I spent time sitting in several chairs, discussing my options over the phone with my daughter. While I was testing one chair in particular, I noticed an associate, later identified as "Joy," repeatedly looking in my direction. She would stop what she was doing and stare at me, making me feel uncomfortable. I mentioned this to my daughter over the phone, suspecting that the associate might have thought I was sitting too long in the chair or staying in her section for an extended period. As I tried to arrange transportation for the chair I was considering, I remained seated to prevent another customer from purchasing it before I finalized my decision. At this point, Joy approached the chair next to me and bumped the one I was sitting in while "adjusting" the adjacent chair. I ignored this. She then proceeded to reach behind and around me to a console table, invading my personal space, which I also chose to ignore. She eventually walked away but continued looking in my direction. Shortly after, she returned and said, "I am sorry, but I am going to have to disturb you; I need to put this chair over there," pointing to an area about ten feet away. At this point, I responded, telling her not to speak to me and questioning why she was asking a customer to vacate a chair they were considering purchasing. I pointed out that there were numerous other chairs in the store. She then asked if I was buying the chair, and I again asked her to stop speaking to me. She proceeded to call me "rude," which caused me to lose my temper. This interaction made me feel targeted and bullied for no apparent reason. Whether it was prejudice or another motive, I cannot say, but I know how it made me feel--uncomfortable, disrespected, and humiliated in front of other customers. Joy's behavior seemed to be an intentional attempt to pressure me into leaving the chair, making me uncomfortable by bumping me and reaching around me. When those actions failed, she outright told me to move. Another customer who witnessed this incident came to my aid, questioning why I couldn't sit in the chair and immediately sitting in the one next to me to make a point. The situation was so ridiculous that neither of us understood why it was happening. I was so shaken by this incident that I initially left the store without making a purchase. However, after recounting the exchange to my daughter, she convinced me to return and buy the chair because I genuinely liked it, however, I finally settled on another chair and made the purchase. I am unsure what actions were taken by the store management, because when I returned the next day, Joy was there. I wanted to share my experience with this particular associate and encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to report it to the store, as this is unacceptable. I feel that no customer should endure such treatment. Additionally, I noticed the following day when I returned to pick up my chair that the chair Joy had asked me to vacate had been moved back to its original location, further emphasizing that there was no valid reason for her to demand that I move in the first place. This experience has left me extremely disappointed in a store I have supported consistently.

I've been looking for something in particular for a while. I finally found what I was looking for, or so I thought. It was a rather large painting but it had a scuff mark right in the middle of it. It wasn't a deal breaker for me. I took it up front along with some other items. I asked if I could get a discount since it had a mark on it because I could probably get it cleaned once I got home. I feel like it can't hurt to just ask. The cashier (very nice girl) called the floor manager up front to authorize the discount. The manager walked up and did not even acknowledge me even though I was talking to her. I was saying to her that I felt like I could get it cleaned up once I got home and that I wanted to see if there would be any discount. She ignored me and got a number 2 pencil out of a drawer and started erasing on the picture. I wanted to ask her to please stop! The cashier and myself were a bit shocked at this because the picture was very light colored and now had pink eraser marks on it and the paint slightly rubbed off completely. I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day or if she really didn't want to give a discount. I told her politely that the picture unfortunately now looked even worse and that I couldn't purchase it now. I payed for my other items and walked away very disappointed. I heard her call me back before I exited the store. I walked back over and she showed me the picture again pointing to the spot and said she could give me a 10% discount. I told her I would have liked to have the 10% before she did what she did. In a very upbeat way she said "okay then" with a smile. I was not smiling. It was not "okay" with me. I left very disappointed that day because that was the only picture they had like that. Her name was Jodie. I actually called customer service because this was just not right. They said they were sending me a coupon even though that is not why I called them. I never even got the coupon either. Update: I received the coupon in the mail. It was 10% off.

We have lived here almost 3 years and explored the nearby boutiques and stores...I am a passionate,…read morediscriminating buyer and love to revisit only the best shopping haunts....this boutique is the top store of its kind in the South Atlanta area...if you can find the shopping center with Rooms To Go, look across the street in a cute little shopping strip and you will find this great store...the prices are better than Hobby Lobby and excellent home decor, like giant wall clocks and ottomans...spoke with Lorrie, the owner, and when I remarked about the great prices, she said she likes to keep the prices reasonable so it will bless more people---love that core value!...its just before Christmas and they were serving complimentary cookies and beverages...the tunic tops, dresses, wraps were unique, well crafted and again, well priced...also everything was 15% off except for Lily Grace items and shirts that were 40%[!!!!!!]...not sure how long these sales last but she also had discounts the more you buy....I love that they will make a wish list for your family /friends and they can come in a shop what you specifically like/want...also if there is something specific you are looking for, she will keep an eye out when she shops at market ... just the best shopping experience ever...so much fun...you can see why I was excited to write this review!!! My visiting daughter purchased a Lily Grace shirt and cap and after we shopped elsewhere for a couple of hours, she had to go back to LilyBelle and Grace to buy another shirt and cap in different colors than the ones she bought earlier...she told me "MOM, this stuff NEVER goes on sale!!"...great day, making memories!
