I went in their earlier and I was going to buy things and I had a michaels gift card that had money on it like 100 something and we were going to pay and I was gonna use my gift card. And the lady kept saying oh your card is not working it must be your card and I said oh it must be your machine bc I had just used some money on it my mom did about a week ago and they lady was being petty and my husband had walked out to get cash and when he came back in the lady was talking very very bad about my family and she was like sorry and my husband had walked out and didn't buy nothing she was saying stuff to this girl name Hailey I didn't see the other girl name who was saying stuff. But I am very very disappointed for a grown woman to be saying stuff like that about my family and being sarcastic about the card not working and being petty and started talking to her friends or whatever they are. As another reviewer stated, this store doesn't handle returns for online purchases. I bought four photo frames online; two I didn't like once I saw them live. The third one, although pricey, had two instances of gaps in the corners where the front frame sides meet. Despite this obvious imperfection, they included it in my online order. I went to the store to do the online return. I had the electronic receipt for payment I made when doing the online order. The girl at the front desk could not get anything to come up in their system when scanning the sticker they put on the bag my order was filled. I showed her the online receipt with the bar code and order number. She couldn't get that to work either. Then she says "since you don't have a receipt, I can give you a store credit". I told her no. I showed her the Michael's receipt on my phone. I don't come here often and I'm not going to go to Michael's and buy things I don't want just to use up a $50 store credit. Then she said she'd get the manager since "sometimes she knows how to do these things. We have problems with online orders sometimes". The manager was able to get the refund back on my credit card. This turned out to be a 15 minute negative experience. If this store has known issues for processing refunds for online orders, pick up the phone and talk to corporate about their systems so they can fix it! To sum it up, there was little regard for the customer experience with his the store handled this. read more

I stopped in this store today just to see what they had available for my tree topper. To my surprise I was greeted by two black toy soldiers! Throughout the Christmas decorations I was pleased to see a variety of items that offered options both black and white. Diversity! I was able to find black Santa wrapping paper! Michaels has a great variety of crafting materials. The problem is that once you buy all the things you need to make the craft you could have bought the item already made for you. Not all the items are pricey though. I Highly recommend that check out the Michaels website before your trip to the store. They always have good coupons that you can pull up on your phone and save! read more

I've seen the good reviews so I finally asked for some help at the framing counter and I am so glad that I did. There were two male employees that were so patient and helpful! I went to the make it merry wreath event today. My end product was great. But... my experience was less than wonderful. To start - the manager (I think I was told her name was Sue P.) Was so rude! I just can't say enough of how unfriendly and unprofessional she was. Overall, she was the greatest factor in my group's negative experience. now also I had called nearly a month in advance looking for a wreath making class specifically for a ladies art group that meets once a month. The way it was explained to me is that I'd have my group of 8 plus up to 4 other people that may book a spot... what happened was that they were doing a class every 30 minutes with Max 8 people in the room. The way it ended up one person from my group got separated and then wasn't allowed to come in and make a wreath. The whole thing was poorly organized. And calling it a class was kind of a joke anyway because we were just handed stuff and basically did it ourselves. That manager needs to adjust her attitude. read more

I was very impressed with the framer I worked with, she had a lot of knowledge and creative input. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the custom framing that Theresa did on my needlepoint. This project took me a year to make (about 70,000 stitches will do that!) so I decided to spend the money to have my work professionally framed and so glad that I did.
