This place is a hole. I've been there a couple of times to pick up small things for crafting and have found it disorganized and cluttered. Today I went to pick up a few things and if it was possible to regress any further... well it sure did. I found half the supplies I wanted - and resorted to just purchasing on Etsy later on. The paint section was trashed and understocked. In one of embroidery stuff, there was merchandise on the ground and candy wrappers. Lots and lots of candy wrappers all over the ground. I really should have taken pictures as it's kind of unbelievable... but it was terrible. The front of the store has a lot of bins of "sale items" which is just a bunch of crap thrown in bins in no particular order. The clerks are nice, but never in any rush to get people out of the every growing line. Overall, Michael's needs to shut this location down or get some new management and overhaul the place. This Michaels isn't my favorite - it is constantly disorganized and in disarray by mid-day, but it is in an excellent location. Dadeland Station is so accessible on my drive home from work, I wouldn't go out of my way to another shop. The staff here are very friendly, the shop is just so large I don't know if the few there can manage the craft chaos. Always ask if there are any coupons available at check out, more often than not, the cashiers will let you know about upcoming promotions and whether or not there is a 40 percent coupon available. read more

As many people before me have said, this Michaels is very unorganized and doesn't seem to keep up to date stock like the Michaels on Kendall Drive. Parking is a hassle and I haven't found one person at this store who could help me :( I'd rather drive the extra miles and go to the other Michaels for friendly service, easier parking, and fully stocked items! read more

Fantastic Michaels store. The associates that work there are truly helpful and they normally have everything in stock that I am searching for. The lines seem to always move pretty quick. One of my favorite locations for sure. read more

Can I just say how bad this store is???? The service is non existent-lazy & rude employees. I went to get some supplies & NO ONE was on the floor to help. I went to the counter, and asked one of the cashiers if there was anyone on the floor. She said "no" and went back to what she was doing. She did not ask if I needed help or offer to help me when she had a minute. Nope, she wasn't even bothered. I continued to explain to her that I needed some supplies for a project. She said they don't carry that in the store. I said online shows you have the materials. Eventually she asked another woman-the ONLY person who showed any type of interest in helping. A few of the materials were available but they were out of stock of the main materials. I went to pay & the guy cashing was RUDE af. They better improve this store. Worst experience ever. read more

When I first came to get a picture framed the framing lady was an hour late to work and apparently no one else st the store knows how to help with framing. She finally showed up and would not stop talking so it took 40 drawn out minutes to complete the purchase. Then I was told it would take 3 weeks to frame my picture. Fine. I call on the day it is supposed to be ready and am told no one can tell me it is ready because the framing lady had an emergency and there was no one to just tell me if it was ready for me to get. Finally after requesting a manager I get told it is ready for me to pickup. I asked specifically "can I come right now and get it" and was told yes. I get there and surprisingly it is NOT READY. I wait 20 minutes and finally have my one framed picture. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE save yourself the hassle. read more

This craft store has everything you can think of for any craft you need to make. My friend was planning my baby shower and we found 80% of the things we need for the centerpieces and details throughout the shower. We used a coupon we found on the app which saved us 40% off 1 item. We each paid separately and saved off of 2 items. I did take away 1 star because we still had to buy some things online which is an inconvenience because of shipping. Other than that I'd still come back. read more

Ok... so where do we begin. Uber packed store and nonexistent staff. I think there was 1 person in there that knew what they were doing and was surrounded by customers like stink on poop. The line to check out once you dig for what you need is way too long. They have a lady that scans all your items while you wait in line and gives you a card that the cashier just scans and tells you what to pay even with that the line still takes forever. I had a coupon that they didn't want to take because it was 4:05pm and it expired at 4:00pm well excuse me I was in line for 10 minutes, give me the coupon now lady! The sections with ribbons is pathetic. Walmart has better ribbon then this place. Now for what threw me over the edge. I had 2 little girls with me that had to use the bathroom. SO....we walk all the way to the back of the store and there is a lock on the door that you have to put a code in to get into. Really? So now we have to go hunting for someone to come put the code in all while doing the Peepee dance. So we found the one employee surrounded by customers who could not walk to the back of the store to open the bathroom so she asks another employee to do it but that was too much of a chore for them to do so they passed the buck on to someone else and someone else and someone else until finally about 10 minutes later the bathroom was opened. Really guys? Come on. Get with it. What was worse opening the bathroom or cleaning up a trail of piss? read more

If you are looking for artificial flowers, forget it! They USED to have beautiful artificial flowers but no more. Now they are just carrying cheap x-mas stuff. What a disappointment. read more

This store isn't necessarily an outstanding Michaels per se, but there was one employee who helped me and I really appreciated it. I was looking for mini wooden clothespins to decorate my wall. I asked an employee where they were, but unfortunately they were out of them; disappointed, I walked around the store for another 20 minutes to see if I could find an alternative. That was when the employee I had asked before approached me holding--lo and behold--the bag of clothespins!! I was so excited. It was very thoughtful of her to put the extra effort into finding a spare bag when she could have just as easily walked away. I really appreciated it. read more
