Don't come here. Straight up scalpers. Pro-Play Games and Weebs R Us are the same owner. But with different prices. Weebs will have it cheaper but Pro-Play will have them more expensive and (not price match). Coming here as a collector is a slap in the face because all they care about is getting their money. Just wait for MSRP drops. Pro-Play should be boycotted. Pro-Play and Weebs having the same owner but having dramatically different prices is just fraud and criminal Plus this place stinks. They need to get a better A/C, some air fresheners. They just need to do better. And the selection of prices needs to be better. Dear owner of these establishments, do better. Gotta be real, the pricing here is super shady. They "price match" TCGplayer but then they include shipping costs for an in-person transaction. It makes no sense. Since they aren't paying TCGplayer fees in-store, they should be selling at around 80% of that price. Honestly, you're better off just buying it on TCGplayer and selecting store pickup, that way they're actually forced to pay the fees they're trying to avoid by selling to you over the counter. ​Their buy-in is just as bad. They only offer 50% of TCGplayer Low, and on top of that, they won't even respect market price. The whole setup just feels super shady. I'd definitely look elsewhere. read more

Pro-Play Games is a great spot for cards of all kinds in Miami near FIU. They have tournaments and cards of all kinds, from Yu-Gi-Oh! to Magic: the Gathering to Pokemon. I recently got into collecting Pokemon cards so we decided to check out this shop. On the second level of the plaza that it's located in, parking is plenty but the spots are super slim and tight so I always opt to park a bit further. Inside, the space is actually pretty big as far as cards shops go. They have tables all across the middle for playing games or tournaments and they have an abundance of staff. They have cards on the walls of higher value and a wall towards the back when you first walk in for their graded cards. If you like looking through binders, they have PLENTY. Like binders on binders on binders. You have to ask them to look through it and everything is super organized. They have it by alphabetical order and they also have 3 foreign binders for Pokemon. If you're also looking for binders or sealed product or anything dealing with cards, chances are they have it. I love how organized this card shop is and they always have a good amount of cards to look through where I always have to leave with something. Probably my fav card shop in South FL I've found so far! read more

Employees are SO FRIENDLY and SO HELPFUL (I didn't get their names but shout out to the guy who helped us and the girl with the ribbon in her hair)!!!! My brother and I came in knowing nothing really about cards and came out with both a box of prismatic evolutions and some packs they helped us select. I didn't stay long, but I do feel pretty confident in saying they build a good community given the sheer amount of people in a strip mall shop. Honest prices too! Paid market price for the box and around $5-7 per pack. Will stop by again. Whoever runs this shop, pay your employees everything because they were so sweet. read more

We went here for the avatar pre release, We came five minutes early, first time in. I was waiting in line, apparently the wrong one. I was sent to the other line and hear the announcement that they were about to start, I sat where they said black decks go, just to find out, they had given my pre release to someone else. Worst part is, the line I was in initially, was where I saw an employee get handed the black deck that had actually belonged to me... The manager explained to me that I should've arrived earlier, they made an announcement to check in. If you show up five minutes early, you're actually late. There was nothing online, nothing on discord, that mentioned you should be 15 minutes early (i checked). They only offered STORE CREDIT! I was fire bending at this point and told him "you guys gave my deck to an employee and aren't going to give me my money back?" He said "yes we did give your deck away but". I didn't want store credit, I wanted my money back. Eventually he refunded us and we left. Our other friend couldn't believe what happened and left too. At least he was honest about being a crappy manager and letting his employees do that. Such a bad experience. Checked their prices online and decided to head in to pick up a booster box only for them to up the price on the booster boxes during the hour it took me to get there and would not work with me on the price. I understand adjusting your prices to reflect the current market but doing that midday is nothing other than extremely unproffessional. Change your prices before you open or at the end of the day not mid day when you may have customers already on the way for something. The cherry on top is it doesnt look like they have sold any of the inventory they had since that day so upping the price midday did nothing for them but lose a sale lmao. I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with TCGPlayer.com. This website, if you know how to use it, can help save you so much money and I'm talking hundreds of dollars, please watch some YouTube videos and learn how to take advantage of this website so you don't get scammed by this shop or any other TCG shop. The prices they have on these singular cards are unethical. When you try to sell some of the cards back to them they completely rip you off. I assume that current TCG players are well aware of this so I'm only speaking to the returning and new players. Please understand that this is a business first and they will do what they must do to stay open. Meaning that someone opened the packs, resealed them with a iron and glue, then put them back into the box and resold them. The pokemon ultra premium collection just came out. On day 1 of release this shop decides to become like the scalpers on ebay and is selling this box, which goes for msrp $120, for $400 dollars. Fine. They have always priced matched. I show up and show them tcgplayer pricing. I ask, can you please match their price. It was a 48 dollar difference. The manager refused. I returned it and bought it from tcgplayer which, for reminder, is a site with resellers. A reseller online beat the price of a shop that buys these boxes at msrp or below. Your greed is gonna hurt your business. I spent thousands of dollars over the years, you lost a valuable customer over $48 dollars. Stay classy. read more

I ventured here as a part of a Dungeons & Dragons group meet spot. My first impression upon arrival was, "They need a sign out front... or is that a part of the idea? It's hidden, like a secret room in a castle?" Either way, Google Maps found this place with ease. Inside is air conditioned, wide and deep with rows of long, plastic tables, plus plenty of chairs to be had. The staff was very welcoming & happy to see us there. They told us about the availability of snacks and beverages for purchase, plus offering to answer any questions we might have. In the front of the room on the left side, there are TV screens and computers (I think) where people were crowded around playing video games. Off to the right is the front counter with plenty of trading card game offerings (Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc) and a plethora of board/table-top games for you to enjoy - staff is always hanging out behind the counter, ready for your arrival. The center of the room is where 'the magic' happens. (Hee hee!) You can sit down to play Magic the Gathering with your friends, hunker down for your D&D campaign, or duel with Yu-Gi-Oh cards - that's only a few of the things I saw going on! In the back of the room, there are two separate (gender-based) restrooms. They are indeed clean! (At least the women's restroom was clean. I didn't check out the men's.) There is also a ping pong table in the rear, too. Okay, so while I truly like this environment for my D&D campaign, my group had only a slight suggestion to management - get sound dampening wall panels installed. While I'm all for the excitement that is included these environments, it would help if it wasn't echoing all over the place. We often had to lean over the table to hear what the DM was saying (a huge part of the game!) and unfortunately, he had to repeat himself quite a few times. I know this is a very costly suggestion... perhaps one of your gamers knows a guy, who knows a guy? 4-stars for everything, because Pro-Play is all about the gamers (but that sound issue is kind of a bummer.) read more

The first time I came to this place it was amazing like nothing I could have complained about. Walked in someone helped me right away showed me everything they had for Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards. The second time around was a let down, the employee was not rude at all was very pleasant but did not know his stuff. The first time I went there was someone for Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards, someone for magic cards and someone for dragon ball z cards. The first time I saw about 7 binders or so of Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards, the second time I only saw 4.
