I played my first Magic game at this store and a super cool guy came in to play with us and he was even a judge for their Magic tournaments which was super great since he was incredibly helpful for me learning the game. The ambiance and decor is amazing, I love their selections of drinks and gachapon. And their prices aren't too bad (as far as I know for Pokemon as I have no clue what's their average for Magic) I literally drive 30 minutes to this store just because they are that great! Round 2, I ordered directly from their website on an email coupon they sent out a few weeks ago. It took over 3 weeks for the item to get a tracking number (shipping from their warehouse apparently takes longer than if they have stock in a store - per CS). It's now had a tracking number for over a week but still yet to be handed off to the carrier... hello... hello... CS is not very responsive, and apparently communication between the stores and warehouse is almost non-existent, leading to not being able to get answers or problems solved in a timely manner... I sure hope my item goes out... I guess I've figured out why they don't give the store phone number out, lol. UPDATE: Order confirmed July 11, ORIGINAL estimated delivery date July 18. Actually arrived August 20th... at least it arrived, but not likely to place online orders with them again...

We got there early but ended up sitting 20 minutes watching 4 customers 5 including us have to walk away cause store wasn't open on time. Now benefit of the doubt maybe someone overslept or got sick. However being that this is the only hobby shop close to my area sucks this was first experience. Nevertheless, I always give places a second chance to make sure so stay tuned for a second review because I will be going back as this is the only hobby card shop in my area. Lately I've been noticing that collectible shops have been popping up everywhere with a strong…read moreemphasis on Pokemon and Japanese Anime. Im a big collector of Bronze Age (1970 - 1986) comics and action figures. Sadly those old school shops are quickly vanishing and the Modern Age collectible shops are plentiful. This Cognizant Card shop was easy to navigate with a small room at the front displaying Pops figures and some large Anime figures. The rear room was full of Pokemon cards from 1996 - present including a grab bag case of common Pokemon cards for a few dollars each. There were several packages of various sports cards too. To my enjoyment they even had a couple bins of comic books. The employee was friendly and knowledgeable of his merchandise and advised he will buy select Pokemon cards from customers. This shop provides a 5% discount on all inventory for First Responders, which is a nice touch.
