The staff was nice and welcoming. They had new legos, old ones, and retired ones. I was kind of hoping the prices would be better. They were pretty much selling for the same prices as online or in stores. It was cool seeing some of the ones you don't really see anymore but ultimately we didn't splurge on anything. They do have a trade in deal where you can bring in one you've already built and they'll give you money for it or store credit.

All of them are super great to protect you from the Florida sun and heat or even on your travels. Another thing I paticularly love about that brand is that they support an important cause-- survivors of abuse and assult. Kudos for Swalty Sisters for carrying them. On the other hand, I resent the fact that I now apparently need to buy a container to house another container of stuff. We are living in a time where you are expected to pour your perfectly good box of Cheerios into a more aesthetically pleasing box before placing it in your cupboard. I am really supposed to believe the original box is no longer acceptable? Enter The Container Store, which both soothes and triggers me. I am currently in what I can only describe as a soul crushing transitional phase of life. I have just moved. I do not have dressers yet. Not because I cannot buy them, but because I refuse to be trigger happy and purchase something I will regret. I am painfully picky about furniture. So instead of making a rash decision, I am living out of boxes. Yes. Boxes for clothes. Plastic containers for makeup. Random bins for food. It is not glamorous. I DO have a pantry... I'm in a new construction home.... everything is fresh, new and oh so not organized... This time, I am trying to approach it differently. Buy exactly what I need. Not the whole store. Just what serves a purpose right now. That is how I ended up with roller storage solutions, including a Hulken bag, which is actually kind of brilliant. It is sturdy, has wheels, looks cool, and currently houses clothes that either do not fit or need alterations. I can move it around easily, which in this dresser free existence feels like luxury. There are genuinely smart solutions in that store. The Elfa system is excellent. I have had California Closets before and loved them. There are plenty of closet systems out there that can transform a space into something functional and beautiful. But my core pain at the moment is simple. I do not have dressers. I cannot put anything away. Everything feels temporary, stacked, shifted, mobile. The Container Store gives you tools to create order. It just also reminds you how much order you do not currently have.

At other retailers providing Legos (Walmart), the boxes are in disarray and not under their labeled locations. As it relates to Lego sets, we have noticed that Target's offerings are expanding (3 isles completely stocked with both large and small sets in all genres) while Target's competitors (Walmart) are drastically shrinking (Not even one isle). We did not see many discounts; but, the large build boxes were available and great to see.
