Most years I'll go to Walmart for this stuff or Target and buy a bunch of stuff from the travel size bins. This year however I've decided I'm going to change up and try this place out. Some of the items that I will pack into these boxes are pencils, notebooks, chap sticks, nail clippers, tampons, sunglasses, crayons, etc. I was able to pick many of these items up for just under a buck or two. Plus I saw some more items here such as slippers and fuzzy socks that I think will also go great in these boxes. I didn't need any help shopping on my trip here but I was approached by a sales associates offering to help me find stuff which I appreciated. Lots of toys, stuffies, and blind boxes for my little girl to get excited about. The trains in the front caught her attention and the many statues throughout the store she loved too. My wife had a good time helping me look at Gundam models and paints for my Warhammer army. We spent a good amount of time in the gaming room getting her some sleeves for her cards and checking out the books, figures, and tables set up for gaming. Ended up getting a few things and was an easy process. I think for the price of everything we got a good value cause we could have easily gotten everything online but I think part of what makes this place amazing is the passion the staff has for the hobbies, the amount of options they carry, and then if they don't have something you want (Warhammer stuff is what I was looking for) they will order it for you. A comment on a local…read moreFacebook group mentioned the Atlanta Braves & World Series ornaments Mud Creek Market offered so I made a point to stop in. Another customer asked about the ornaments and while they were sold out currently, another shipment was arriving and there was a hold list. The shop is beautiful and has so much to offer! I made three loops in hopes I was able to look at everything, trying to think through the few remaining people on my gift list. While I did not find anything for those on my list, I found the most beautiful Georgia Tech ornament for a sweet friend who always surprises me with Auburn gifts. I was even offered complimentary gift wrapping when I purchased. I received a call back the same afternoon when the Braves ornaments were in. I wasn't able to return same day but when I did the ornaments were bagged and waiting for me. I even added two more Braves ornaments to my purchases from the same supplier. I'm so glad I was introduced to Mud Creek Market. I will definitely return!

I walked up to the shortest line and the cashier (Asian lady) informed me (Black lady) she could not check me out because she was pulling from the back of the line. No problem, I proceeded to wait in line. Other customers new to the check out line were also walking up to her register for check out not knowing the unique process. Immediately after me, she decided to ring up a (White lady) who did not have to wait in line AT ALL! Granted she only had one item, so did I. Hobby Lobby already has a BAD rapport with racism but this was the final straw. I did not feel valued as a customer or respected as a person. As someone who crafts and decorates for a living, I vow to never shop Hobby Lobby again. I will refer my clients, friends and family to shop elsewhere as well.
