    Pokemon card binder

Was visiting for the holiday and took the grandson shopping. This was the first place he wanted to go. In a strip mall with a nail salon and a ballad hall it was not difficult to find. They have a large clean store with everything you can find. Enjoyed looking at the Funko pops. I have a few of the Hamilton ones but it was cool to see the other they have. They have several tables set up for people to play games. They were several here playing D&D which was a blast from the past for me. The staff (Shelley) was very patient with the grandson (10) when he could make a decision on the Pokemon cards and packs he wanted. Very understanding. I myself loved looking at the different cookbooks for games. I am sure we will be back again on our next visit.

This place is the original and the one and only....and Cliff Biggers is sorta a legend among the comic book world. If you ever get a chance to talk to him it's like talking to a Professor of Comics and Marvel World. This guy has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Comic books. Back in the days when it was uncool to be a nerd....yes once upon a time we had to sit at the lunch table all by ourselves actually we still do....this was a place where you could meet like minds. (BTW I just want to say just because you watch The Big Bang Theory doesn't mean you're part of the club...you gotta know the difference between an AT-AT and an AT-ST... and the password to join is how many Stargate are on Earth?..... Here on a typical day you will meet someone that can curse in Klingon and watch Bob Ross videos on youtube....and if it's geekdom you've come to worship then come it's the one to rule them all.... Dr No's has got all your geekdom in one place so don't have a hernia when you get here. He's got your Marvel geekdom, your Startrek geekdom, your Star wars geekdom (divided into of course the purist vs. the prequels vs. the Disney versions aka expanded universe...) Doctor Who geekdom (quickly name all 13 Doctor Whos...) Japanese Manga geekdom (too many and too hard to spell...all those damn vowels) Buffy the Vampire geekdom, Firefly and all of Joss Wheaton's entire repertoire....I think I may of spied a Benedict Cumberbatch poster somewhere.....there are board games and puzzles galore...and Magic the gathering...I still don't get how to play this game...anyway Dr. No has them all..... So next time you have a few hours to kill...you definitely wanna give yourself a good 6 hours and don't worry the staff won't throw you out...they're super cool and super nice....you have to head on down here....

I felt a bit of an "ebgames" vibe -- before they went TOO commercialized! They carry a lot of comics (that are still in EXCELLENT condition), figurines, controllers, and even newer games as well (like ps4/Switch/etc). We were greeted immediately after walking in and provided a "break down" of where to find everything. The fact that they have old school arcades (which they also allow you to play unlimited for free -- and still have tournaments on) means they are okay with me! Lol! Def glad we found this place! Granted, we only purchased 3 ps2 games, but we still have a ps1, ps2, ps3, N64, and NES so we will DEF be back!

Nothing that made me stop shopping there or write a negative review at the time. However, I went in there the other day to look around, and I ended up spotting a Virtual Boy for $400, which is pretty expensive. But I recently received $400 for my birthday, so I figured what the heck and bit the bullet and purchased the system, as it was the only Nintendo system I currently didn't own at the time. The employee even let me briefly try it out, and it seemed to work well, so I bought it. After I got home, I set it up in order to fully test and try it out. However, while testing it, I realized that the right lens only shows a distorted image. However, this is only noticeable when you have your left eye closed. I tried to call the store immediately, but unfortunately they had already closed for the day. So the next day, I called at work and explained the problem with the console that they had sold me. The woman on the phone sounded very understanding and told me to bring it back, as they had a worker there who does repairs. So after work, I drove home, packed up the Virtual Boy, and headed back to the store. I even called and told them that I was on the way, and I was told, "Okay, we'll look at it when you come in." When I arrived, the repair guy plugged the console in and said, "Yeah, I see it's not working. However, there's nothing I can do." Then he called the employee that had sold me the console the previous day, and I explained the situation for a fourth time while the "Repair" guy called the owner. The employee who sold me the unit initially offered me to trade it back into the store, as they would not let me return the unit. I told him no because "I WOULD JUST BE GIVING THEM FREE MONEY AT THAT POINT" The "Repair" guy returned and told me that I have to get it repaired somewhere else, as he can only do basic repairs like battery swaps on cartridges. THAT WOULVE BEEN GREAT TO KNOW THE 2 TIMES I CALLED BEFORE I HEADED TO THE STORE. Anyway, the employee that sold me the unit also got on the phone with the owner and explained the situation. After he was done talking to his boss, he told me, "They can't give me a refund, not even a partial refund, and I couldn't trade it in because it's damaged." I then again explained that they SOLD ME THE UNIT DEFECTIVE BUT YOU CAN ONLY NOTICE IT WHEN YOU CLOSE YOUR LEFT EYE. They both just kept saying that they "tested it" with all the employees and none of them noticed any issues with the unit. Then the guy who sold me the broken unit low-key started blaming me for the damage, saying that "I could have damaged it on the way home yesterday, as the console is very fragile." And I'm just standing there thinking to myself, "No way he genuinely said something so RETARDED. He gotta be rage baiting. If a simple car ride is enough to damage the unit, would it not make sense that the person that drove to the store to originally trade the unit in to them damaged it? Therefore, it was already damaged before I purchased it." He then told me "that there's not much they could do," which is pretty much the nice way of saying "piss off." I then asked, "Since you can't do much, what can you do?" and he replied by saying, "What do you want?" I asked if I could get a discount on the item or a partial refund, as $400 is a lot of money to pay for a defective item. He told me "no," so I asked again, "What can you do then?" and he replied with "pretty much nothing." The employee's rage bait is starting to work and is genuinely pissing me off at this point, so I replied, "Why would you say there's not much you can do if you can't do nothing at all?" WHY EVEN TELL ME TO BRING THE UNIT BACK IN IF YOU CAN LITERALLY DO NOTHING DESPITE BEING INFORMED OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE UNIT TWICE BEFORE I EVEN GOT THERE. In the end the "Repair" guy clearly wanted me gone so he begrudgingly filled out a punch card and handed it to me 15% off my next purchase pretty much saying next time you come in you can pay less to get scammed

Yes Amazon sells it for a lot less and the sections on Amazon can be better...but not always... For example if you're looking for hardcore literature Like Ann Radcliffe or Horace Walpole then Barnes and Noble is the place to go. Amazon has it as well but their selection is sketchy...they may not offer you the best edition out there. If you're looking for Business books then Amazon is a better option because I don't think this particular Barnes & Noble's business books selection is as good as it could be. On the other hand they have a pretty good manga and young adult selection....I imagine those books are more popular than say Originals by Adam Grant.....They had signed copies of John Green's latest Turtles All the Way Down....and even though I said I wasn't going to buy anything... I ended up taking home Haruki Murakami's book Absolutely on Music: Conversation with Seiji Ozawa. (Ozawa is my favorite living conductor so I couldn't resist even though Amazon has it for $4 dollars cheaper but I figured heck I want this and I want it now...) Anyway now a days when people chose books over all other forms of activities such as the internet, Facebook or even Yelp....it's always a good thing....
