As soon as I got back to my friend's house, I realized that I needed a size 2, not the size 5 that I bought. My friend told me she'd return them for me since we were leaving for Virginia the next morning. Well, it didn't matter anyway. I really wish I had known that needles are not returnable when I bought them because the return was refused. I see now that it is clearly stated on the website under FAQs that needles are not returnable. Too bad I can't use them. Actually, I have been knitting for 44 years and this is the first time I've heard of this policy at a knit shop although there are probably some shops that do this...just not any of the ones at which I shop. So, whatever you are buying here, do be sure that you are getting exactly what you need, or you may end up, as I did, with something you don't need.

There are a lot of samples of work decorating the store. There's even a large table on one side with "Open Table Time" to work on projects. They have home decor, for whatever your style might be. There's some really cute decor for a kid's or a baby's room. As far as pricing, most items are priced average to other retailers that sell the same product. At Hobby Lobby you might find a 30 - 40% sale. For some reason the registers are not equipped with scanners, so the cashiers have to manually enter each sale. This sounds like so much more work than it needs to be. The amount of variety squeezed into this little space is fantastic--so many colors, textures, and weights of exotic and small-manufacturer yarn; gorgeous color sets of fibre and more. Although the patterns and accessories did not contain much in the way of crochet-specific things, the lady in the shop said she had been wanting to focus on increasing interest in crochet in the shop's community.
