Welcome to Yelp News, and I am your anchorman, Christopher Columbus. That's right. I'm the man who travels through the seven seas to plant flags and claim the first review on a business, all for the sake of Yelp! I mean, come on, you should see how dirty my hands get. I'm in the trenches here. Being part of the Yelp Elite, I will aim to inform my fellow Yelpers. So here we go with my review on Express.
I'm a loyal Express clothing store customer. I have valued their quality, consistency, and prices for over a decade. Now a days, I could say i'm the walking billboard for them, wearing Express for Men's clothing from almost head to toe. I try to shop smart with them, because I know things could get costly. So the good thing about Express is that they have many deals, whether posted in store or online. I wouldn't have gone on a shopping spree if it weren't for those deals and such. Today, was the first day that I applied for the Member's Rewards special. It's not like a credit card, so you don't have to worry about accruing debt. It's more like the frequent flier mile of Express clothing, where every time you spend on Express products, you accrue credit for future purchases. I should have done that awhile ago, just the same way I should have done that with traveling. Just imagine where i'd be now after traveling all those miles to Norway, Spain, Argentina and Australia. *Shakes my head.*
Sorry, my mouth is flying off again. I think I need to land this plane and move on to talking about the store......
I love the staff here. They are very helpful and they seem to love their job. I don't know what perks or commission retail workers get, but either way, they are very attentive and are genuinely willing to see that you are comfortable with what you're laying your skin on. Especially the pants. The last couple staff I encountered were able to tell me in detail each pair of pants. From the way it fits on the waist, to how it tapes to the ankle, to how it feels in the crotch. I believe this is very vital. I use to love wearing things very baggy. As I got older, I seem to like my pants a little more fitted, but still be able to have some breathability in the nether regions. One staff taught me a lot of tricks of the trade with pants. I never knew this before, but apparently if you put a teaspoon of vinegar ( actually I forgot what household solution it was) it preserves the color in the pant. Also, it's good to not wash your pair of pants, rather, wear it a few times (preferably several) to allow the oils of your skin to settling into the pants, thus allowing the pants to fade less. See, this is something a man like me would not have known thanks to the staff at Express. I guess you learn something new every day!
I love going to this place. read more
