I really needed sneakers. Took a chance here because i had a gift card. Found a real nice pair of new balance for only$40 and my favorite color. Great prices and bargains.

I have to say I love the Marshals in Avon they have almost anything you need. I initially went there to buy some summer cloths for my 13 year old son they had so much to choose from he is an adult small, and they had so many name brands like to chose from some include Champion, Michael Kors, Nike, Adidas and many more . I bought him 6 shirts and 3 pairs of shorts and the price was not even close to how much I expected!!! Then, at checkout, some jewelry caught my eye for my daughter for a great price and a hand cream and mug for my mom !! They also had a pair of beautiful Sandels for myself and so many nice purses !! If the kids weren't with me, I could have stayed there all day, especially with all the beautiful cloths they had for me but that will have to be a to be continued this time !!! I highly recommend Marshals you will not be disappointed at all !!! I also have to give a shout out to the staff they were all amazing and very accommodating and friendly!! Great experience

    Some small electronics and gadgets.

Marshall's of Avon is one of the best stocked Marshall's in this general area. This is a bit of a bigger store, and I find it well organized, as well as well stocked in each of its areas. They have a really nice home section of mugs, dishes, home decor, holiday items, stationary, candles, bedding, pillows, and such. If you're looking through the women's clothing like jeans, it may take a while, as the items are tightly packed together, and there's a lot to look at. Depending on the day or season, you may find a nice variety of shoes, sometimes even designer shoes, but unfortunately at odd sizes. Their general shoe selection is pretty decent on most of my trips to the store. Of course it depends on what you're in the market for. One thing I've learned about Marshall's over the years, if you see something you really like, get it, it will not stick around forever. It's easier to return it, then to stumble upon it again in the future. There have been many times I'd bring something to the register and the sales associate was so surprised they sell it at the store. I just find it a bit funny. But it's probably because they don't have the time to walk around the store and see everting, because they're tied down to the register. Marshall's of Canton is worth a visit, you you'd find all sorts of goods here, for kids, home, pets or yourself, at great prices, you'll just need a bit of extra patience for some areas.

There is sooooooo much stuff in this store - it's reasonably well faced, although a little messier in the clearance sections as one may expect. There is definitely a shopper's high that hits you in finding cute housewares and fun baking supplies at low prices. The only downside is the wait to checkout seems long considering the amount of people waiting in line.

This store in Avon CT has the worst manager or assistant whoever it is. When I was returning a thing bought 4 days back he could not find it on my reciept and him and one more lady was interrogating me as if I was doing something wrong and bringing a part if the item. Problem is they do not know the items they keep in the store. I left that time there without taking any money. They didn't even have any courtesy to make me comfortable. This is not the first time this has happened at this store with the same manager. Not the cashier but the male manager who manages or may be mismanages things there. Last month I encountered him again and he was so adamant to admit that the item that I wanted to buy was marked incorrectly and I paid double the price I paid for the same thing in Homegood same day. The tag on the item that I bought didn't even belong there ot was for some other brand. I would give this store a minus 5 rating for this store. Most of the cashiers also do not look happy a several times under these managers. This product is available on atleast 10-15 stores and both managers were hell bent on shaming me and prove that I was bringing a part of another product to get money. I left the item there. They can make fortunes from It !

Used boys shorts $7.19, boys sports brand t-shirts $6.99, etc. Carts are filthy - I don't think they have ever been hosed down. Often, stained clothes on the floor. Nearly all items are overpriced, and I'm very disappointed to see this store go downhill fast. The positives about the store - very helpful staff, great location with plenty of parking.

This Goodwill isn't the largest, it is still a nice size. Their clothing is sorted by size and by color. The books could be much better organized. If the kid's books, and at the very least "adult" books could be on separate shelves it would make browsing a lot easier. It is worth a look as most will run you $1.99. One of the things that makes me a bit sad is when I find someone's grandma in a framed portrait. You won't be finding my grandma's picture at any Goodwill. Another thing that I'm a bit confused about, is whoever gets rid of handmade pottery. They all have their names engraved on the bottom. These are very unique and likely made in high school, then given to Grandma. On today's trip I found a very cute plush bird. I have a few of these birds in my office. This Goodwill is fairly priced and it has fitting rooms.

Jenn was phenomenally helpful, knowledgeable and informative, kind and not at all pushy. I bought my Dad the Brooks shoes which have already helped him. I do like the idea behind their system. It is a 3 part, 3 insert system designed to help the feet to heal. That said, due to my Dad's advanced age (92) and the fact that his foot issue just started, I think it's best he see a Podiatrist 1st. To make sure there isn't something more serious going on in the foot, bones, muscles or joints. Jenn was okay with that and even recommended a podiatrist. Overall based on pur experience I give The Good Feet Store in Avon a high rating. If we do go with their insert system and my Dad follows through daily and consistently then I truly feel it will be money well spent to relieve his pain and improve quality of life.

Good Feet Store, Avon CT - Deceptive Advertising, Fraudulent Practices…read more One star is one too many. The Good Feet Store (GFS) employs purposefully misleading advertising that lures customers into its stores and then uses deceptive, and even unethical, sales practices based on the psychology of selling and designed to convince customers to purchase an exorbitantly priced three-step system of arch supports. Additionally, the GFS has a "no-return/no-refund" policy that is unfair to the customer and inconsistent with the common practice of other merchants, then using it to defraud customers. A brief summary of my experience follows. I went to the GFS because I needed to replace a pair of walking shoes having seen several of their ads on local TV. * Through its well-orchestrated sales experience, the GFS persuaded me to purchase nearly $1900 of expensive merchandise, including the $1600 arch support system designed to resolve medical issues that I did not have - no arch or alignment problems. I was sold products I did not need and could not use. * I attempted to return in less than 24 hours later after only an hour's wear because it was causing discomfort. The manager cited the GFS's "no return/refund" policy which I was not aware of until after I attempted to make the return. I had merchandise that had no value for me and the GFS had my $1900. * The GFS used its fraudulent practices to make even more money from my transaction. After my unsuccessful attempts for over a week to get a refund, the store manager finally allowed me to return the merchandise, because she could resell it, but only for a store credit. However, in addition to the very expensive arch support system, the GFS only sold five styles of footwear and a very limited set of low-price items most which are 'accessories' to complement the arch support system that I had returned. As a result, there were no products that I could use. So, now the GFS would be able to make money on the resale of the merchandise I returned and also by keeping my $1900. This is a very lucrative type of transaction for GFS. If this is not fraudulent, it is certainly unethical and not in "good faith." The GFS does an incredible job of selling "hope" to often vulnerable customers and making a quick sale. Capitalizing on customers' trust in local businesses based on their many years of experiences with honest and ethical retailers, the GFS readily takes advantage of the consumer misassumption that the GFS is operating under the same standards. I was not alone in my abhorrent experience with the GFS. There are many examples on web sites such as Google, Yelp, Reddit, and TrustPilot where customers have written reviews or made claims about the GFS practices. I spent over two weeks trying to resolve a problem with the Avon Good Feet Store (GFS) and did not get my refund of nearly $1900 until after I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the BBB interceded.

TLDR: They do not put the proper prices on their tags so when you arrive at the register they expect you to pay a higher amount than indicated on the tag because they have to "go by the price in the system." They hands down have one of the best ski/snowboard apparel selections in all of CT, but with shady pricing like this, I'll take my business elsewhere. In the end I found the same items I was looking for at a place in PA. This is my email complaint: "I just spent about an hour and a half in your Avon store. I had a wonderful experience with the gentleman helping me decide between two different sets of ski pants and jackets. After working it through with him to decide on the final choices I went to the register. I purchased pants and a jacket totaling $620 then I realized that the jacket came up priced at $60 more than it should have. The tag on the jacket says $300 and your system said $360. The person who was ringing me out would not honor the $300 price as shown on the tag. As a result, I returned the entire order. And I'm very disappointed in my experience. I've purchased from you before and I appreciate the large selection of options that you have and I'm really disappointed that because the price was not marked appropriately that I would be the one that would take the hit and not you.
