One of the racks. - A clothing rack in a retail store holds a variety of garments including shirts, sweaters, and jackets in different colors and styles. The store features wooden flooring, decorative elements like framed butterfly prints, and accessories such as jewelry displayed on a wall behind the rack. A mirror and other store fixtures are also visible, indicating a boutique or thrift shop environment.

I hate to give such a low rating to a consignment shop, but this store is so over priced, it makes no sense to shop here, over the regular retailer. The prices are all equal to what you would find at Marshall's and at Nordstrom Rack, and some items are even higher. Why shop at Consignment Originals, when you can buy the brand new items at the same or lower cost? The store has a lot of items, navigating through the items takes time, since they're all mixed together. They have tops, outerwear, and jeans separate and by size, but sweaters, shirts, and tops are all on one rack. Needless to say, this store does not appear visually appealing.

Got this j Jill dress here and love it.. brand new item..

Used boys shorts $7.19, boys sports brand t-shirts $6.99, etc. Carts are filthy - I don't think they have ever been hosed down. Often, stained clothes on the floor. Nearly all items are overpriced, and I'm very disappointed to see this store go downhill fast. The positives about the store - very helpful staff, great location with plenty of parking.

This Goodwill isn't the largest, it is still a nice size. Their clothing is sorted by size and by color. The books could be much better organized. If the kid's books, and at the very least "adult" books could be on separate shelves it would make browsing a lot easier. It is worth a look as most will run you $1.99. One of the things that makes me a bit sad is when I find someone's grandma in a framed portrait. You won't be finding my grandma's picture at any Goodwill. Another thing that I'm a bit confused about, is whoever gets rid of handmade pottery. They all have their names engraved on the bottom. These are very unique and likely made in high school, then given to Grandma. On today's trip I found a very cute plush bird. I have a few of these birds in my office. This Goodwill is fairly priced and it has fitting rooms.

Here's my list: 45 RPM vinyl singles 33 RPM vinyl albums Eight track tapes Cassette Tapes Compact Disks Digital Downloads As the state of musical technology changed, it left music lovers with a dilemma -what to do with our old purchases if we don't  listen to them anymore in their original format? Years ago, I pitched my cassette and Eight Track tapes (Trouble Man by Marvin Gaye and Superfly by Curtis Mayfield were personal favorites). But I have hundreds of LPs and CDs and really didn't know what to do with them. Until now. Today I sold four of my albums to the Trading Post as a test, and I was very happy with the results. I will be going back with more of my LPs and CDs. I exchanged e-mails with Elise, and then met her at the store and she couldn't have been more personable, helpful, professional, and just plain nice. Trading Post is most interested in 1960's-2000's rock,  reggae, and metal genres. They inspect your records for quality, their inventory and pricing data and give you an offer in either cash or store credit. She researched my four albums while I wandered around the store.  It's crammed with records, CDs, video games, tie dye everything, posters, shirts, blankets and smoking accessories. Elise made me a very fair offer, and that was enough for me to know I'll be back with my CDs and vinyl after the Holidays.

Their clothing racks are organized by color and size, and everything is in excellent condition. I however am mostly drawn to their home items, like their plates and dishes. I once picked up eight dessert plates for 15 cents each. None of them had a single scratch or nick. They have a whole bookshelf of hard cover books for just $2.00 each. There's plenty of jewelry, I saw a really cool pair of large pearl earrings, but they were clip ons. They also have some beautiful artwork, that's already framed. This is a lovely thrift store, that I wouldn't skip stopping by!

If there's such a thing as a hgh end thrift store, this is it. It's super organized and gorgeous inside, with jewelry, clothing, household and kitchen accesories and a lot more. The pricing is ridiculously low. I saw $1 books, $5 shirts (one of which I bought), $5 jeans and dress slacks, lots of dresses under $10, and a box of 25 cent greeting cards. They are affiliated with The Village for Families and Children in Glastonbury, Suffield, West Hartford and Simsbury, so all of the store's proceeds go to a great cause. We know we'll be back!

I saw racks and racks of men's and women's clothing, shoes, accessories, footwear, household goods, dishes, and kitchen equipment in the front of the store. In the back of the store were CD's, record albums, thousands of books, collectibles and pretty much everything. I even saw three Pez dispensers with likenesses of former presidents. Much of the inventory is what I'd call vintage, which is a code word for "old". Those items may not be for everyone, but if you're into old dishes, bric a brac, dolls, China, wall hangings, glassware, jewelry, furniture, and lamps, well Favarh might just be what you're looking for. Today was 50% off day, and I scooped up two ties marked at $2 each for a grand total of $2.13. You might find a thrift store out there with better quality merchandise, but I'm not sure you'll find one with as much stuff as I saw here.
