As soon as I got back to my friend's house, I realized that I needed a size 2, not the size 5 that I bought. My friend told me she'd return them for me since we were leaving for Virginia the next morning. Well, it didn't matter anyway. I really wish I had known that needles are not returnable when I bought them because the return was refused. I see now that it is clearly stated on the website under FAQs that needles are not returnable. Too bad I can't use them. Actually, I have been knitting for 44 years and this is the first time I've heard of this policy at a knit shop although there are probably some shops that do this...just not any of the ones at which I shop. So, whatever you are buying here, do be sure that you are getting exactly what you need, or you may end up, as I did, with something you don't need.

They coin themselves they are West Hartford's finest children's consignment shop. The pricing was fair for most items (toys, decor, etc), but clothing seemed a bit high. They do have a rewards/loyalty program which I signed up for--I got 10% off my first purchase AND $5 off. Also, if you are local or close by they have 10% off Tuesdays. The young ladies that rang us up were very nice. I'd likely visit again since the shop is very clean. A lot of second hand children shops are cluttered, disorganized, and have a strange smell. I do love Max & Lily's Closet's mission to go green and reuse.
