My friend came to visit and she asked me to take her to Hobby Lobby because they don't have one where she lives. This was her favorite store. She makes greeting cards and this is where she found all the supplies and beyond for her craft. If you're at all creative, this is your store. Everything is here. They have all types of paints, with every type of finish, from matte to glitter. There's poster boards, that come in a whole rainbow of colors, with tie dye effects, clouds and butterflies. They have home decor, for whatever your style might be. There's some really cute decor for a kid's or a baby's room. As far as pricing, most items are priced average to other retailers that sell the same product. At Hobby Lobby you might find a 30 - 40% sale. For some reason the registers are not equipped with scanners, so the cashiers have to manually enter each sale. This sounds like so much more work than it needs to be. A great place to find craft needs. Several times I've made the mistake of trying other stores first...Joann, walmart, etc., and been unable to locate what I need. Then I come here, and just like that, they have what I need in four different varieties. My go-to craft store in the area. They have a great selection of household items, baking supplies and crafting items. Store is clean and organized, and you can always find a staff member to help if you can't find something. They are following all Covid 19 protocols, and that is appreciated. This place is my favorite store in Manchester! They always have killer sales especially when seasons change. Right now all spring decor is 75% off! Fall decor is 40% off. I typically don't buy things at full price bc they are a bit pricey plus it'll probably go on sale in weeks. I could spend hours in here! Tons of decor for everyone's taste! It's well organized and kept clean. Definitely grab a cart, or two! They're closed on Sundays which I think is great so all staff has at least one guaranteed day off! read more

What's happening with Hobby Lobby....whole departments that I always shopped are on clearance...craft dept like ribbon wreaths , etc are becoming almost nonexistent......it's becoming overrun by house hold stuff. I used to come in here all the time but these past months the service has really been on an incline and not a good one. The customer service here is terrible and the girl that is supposedly the new customer service "manager" is so rude and out of pocket. I have no idea how tonight was my first time going to Hobby Lobby. Someone needs to invent a time machine so I could fix that huge mistake! I typically went to the other craft stores for my decor, florals, and art supplies until my friend convinced me to check out Hobby Lobby instead - I am not disappointed I did! It is overwhelming how much decor they have from signs, clocks, baskets, etc. They also have different styles which is not typical these days in my opinion since mostly I only see rustic. There were aisles for kids rooms and man caves/garages as an example. The best part by far was the floral selection. I was amazed at the greenery available! The quality also seemed better than other stores. My first visit at hobby lobby and this is located in the Home Depot plaza. This store is so well organized very well maintained. This is a pit stop for any craft projects, everything available under one roof.Fabrics, photo frames, home decor, baking items, jewelry making stuffs, wool, threads, etc. The staff is good and attentive to your needs. I am an avid autograph an collectibles collector. I brought in for the second time some autographs to be mated and framed. This time it was going to be $93.00. Hobby Lobby is a creative person's "Paradise!" All of the merchandise is carefully displayed, I mean with true love and care. You may not ever find merchandise discarded or negligently displaced on the floor. The company's integrity is high. On my visit I shopped for 8 hours. I found everything I was looking for in one place! You know how you will be shopping to buy candles and other stores may not sell the size you need, the fragrance, the jar or holder. The color, the style, the ingredients, the wick, or the kit you may need however Hobby Lobby sells everything you will need from their diverse selection of vendors! Their employees were knowledgeable on where to find merchandise in the store as well as merchandise that was on sale and the merchandise that was not on sale. I was totally impressed! After hearing rave reviews about Hobby Lobby from some of my coworkers, I couldn't wait to check it out! I'm not a crafty or diy type person at all, but I heard that Hobby Lobby had great decor and furnishings so this is mainly why I wanted to go. Conveniently located off of I-84 near Home Depot, Hobby Lobby is set back where Sports Authority used to be. The store is huge and has everything under the sun. From the usual crafty supplies like yarn, fabric, and scrapbook supplies to an enormous selection of decor ranging from framed pictures to small shelves, you really could spend hours in this store!! Not only is there such a large variety of items to shop for, but the prices were good and there were lots of sales. After going to Hobby Lobby, I don't have any interest in Michael's or Joann Fabrics. Check it out, even if you're a non-crafty person like me; you'll love it! read more

I'm one of those shoppers that likes to go to the store and shop around for house décor. So I finally went to Hobby Lobby after a friend of mine promised me that I wouldn't walk out disappointed.. When I walked in I said "oh its like Michaels and AC Moore put together, no big deal." with a disappointed tone in my voice. After actually going down some isles I looked like my 4 yr old when we take him to toy r us. I was zipping thru every isle and my face just kept lighting up isle after isle. This is nothing compared to craft stores. My friend was right......I was walking around with a permanent smile on my face. I have to say I was beyond impressed with the home décor. I loved how they have a little of everything, from trendy to vintage. The hubby found a couple of isles that interested him and so did our child so this is really a store for all to enjoy.The prices were very reasonable and they accept competitors coupons. They also have their own weekly coupon that you can download from their website. The wall art section has the best selection Ive seen in a while. They have everything that you see on pinterest! Best off all the stuff is not defective like the stuff you get at homegooods and the prices are better..... right now they have 50% off. They also have furniture! I live in CT and the Hobby Lobby here does not take competitors coupons, which hurts me. But they do have their own 40% off coupon I use every time I can. Love checking out their clearance area wall, sometimes it's a hit or miss at times but definitely great and a must to check out. It's like discovering treasure lol. They have great stuff. Also love if you can't find something anywhere else they probably have it or get it first!!!!! Bought a breakable vase at the Manchester Hobby Lobby, the cashier just stuck it in a bag without any extra wrapping to protect it. The store was closing, the vase was broken in the bag before I had a chance to lay it in the car. Tried calling the next day, the phone rang and rang and then someone hung up on me. Got to go back the next day and the manager said I'd get my money back this time, but if this happens again it's my responsibility!! Gee even Walmart wraps their breakables well. This manager claimed that tissue paper was just to protect from scratches. Maybe you could use a couple of bags for protection? Watch out folks!!!! We usually do our craft shopping at the other crafty stores. This was our fist visit to HL and I was impressed. The quality of the goods seemed higher than we're used to at the AC/M/JF chains. It was clean, organized and the staff were friendly. I think this will be our new place to go when we're doing projects especially for the little one. read more
