Staff always helpful and honest. Sets at market prices, best discounts on used sets (complete, like…read morenew, just not in box), and especially if there is a sale. They announce sales pretty last minute (like sometimes less than a days notice) so plan accordingly. Fill-a-bag table is frequently restocked, sometimes you can find partial builds in it. Sorted bins by color & type (tires, bionicle, etc). Separate bins for different priced items (wall panels, windows, jet and boat parts, etc). A build your own minifig bin, and a pretty extensive collection of minifigs from various themes in the case. They do buy some used sets but are particular so talk to staff first. A good assortment of built as-is sets in display cases, ask staff for details first. They also come to near by schools for Lego build nights, great folks supporting the community with fun activities.

No welcome in, how you doing. I eventually said how you doing. Just and ok he says. I proceed to tell him I'm new to RC and just bought my first car. No response. Just a blank stare. Hmm ok I think. Well I need some nitro and glow plugs. How many? 2, 3,10, 15, he says in a short, unfriendly tone. Dude had no customer service skills. As I made my debit payment he glared at my wife and our baby. Maybe he doesn't like our brown skin kind in his store. Who knows? He was rude and made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted in his store. I would've been a repeat customer. I have a nitro car and buying an electric 6s car this week. I'm sure I'll need extra parts and batteries and a charger. Tacoma RC Raceway will never get a penny of that business. I'll buy online and not have do deal with a rude old dude that's ungrateful for my business. I'm a very loyal customer when I find a friendly welcoming business. That old dude was neither friendly or welcoming and made us feel very unwanted in his store. That's my experience there today and good for you if you've had a better experience.

There was a little model shop short from the 7-11 and it had gas powered tethered bi-planes and tri planes. Even Snoopys 049 red Barron teather. I used to live in Skyway. Its was a nice place for kids and youth to grow. My favorite thing was working to make money to buy models. AND build. The cost in the 60s was about 3$ a model. That was about as cheap as you can get. Now they are not. However, this store has a lot to choose from and not just one but two or more. Paint galore. Try to get one bottle on Ebay for less than 10. The prices are really nice here and I was in a hurry. But I was happy to see the rare models you cant buy from the REVELLE company on line. It sure is nice to have a model company like this. It looks like they will be around for a while. The workers are awesome, they help you the best they can and provide helpful information on paints you can use on models and what you cant. Their paint brushes are in good taste, they have small bottles of thinner. I forgot to look for the spray paint that hardens paper covered wings that is fuel proof. It dont melt. Thanks you Skyway Model shop for being around. You are rare. Now, I ask you to build a small rail road to show off G, H, and N scale, to stock slot cars and tracks, as well as balsa kits and sky rockets to assemble. I bet Estes would be happy with ya. If you are browsing, it's a lot of digging through stuff. If you know what you're looking for, it's best to ask and get pointed in the right direction. I found interior parts for my TRX4 in stock that I haven't been able to even find online in about a month worth of searching. For the most part, prices are as good as you're going to find online plus they have almost anything you could want as far as ground vehicles go. Don't spend your coin online when you can go to a such a cool local shop. Support your LHS!!! I drove down from Bellingham and it was worth the drive.
