I bought a PS5 that was supposed to come with a Spider-Man game. When I purchased the console, I noticed that they gave m the display "shell" box that was on the counter. The box that the PS5 five was inside was put back into the outside box and given to me. I was a bit concerned, however the box appeared to be sealed and I was with okay with making the purchase. When I got home the Spider-Man game was not in the box. I went back to the store to explain and was told that the only thing I could do was contact Sony. It was incredibly disappointing. I felt that there was something off about purchasing the PS5 that had been taken out of the display box. I will no longer support GameStop after this experience. read more

Lance was a great help for us today and gave excellent service! My boyfriend has been feeling nostalgic about Pokémon recently and I was determined to get him some old gen Pokémon games. Thankfully they had digital copies for sale in store for the 3DS! No 3DS' in stock as they are hard to find. We were able to get our hands on one... but it didn't come with an SD card. Lance happened to have one in stock and ensured it was a good fit for our device and helped us check out for Digital Downloads, he gave us great advice to ensure we got our downloads home safe. Nice attitude Nick the whom ever you are. The worst experience to customer. I watched from distance while my 2 sons are trying to ask you a question and you just leaning back on counter. This GameStop is a great addition to Kent Station. I have bought several used PS4 games and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I wish I had more time to play video games these days, but this is still a great store when I need to make my occasional purchase. read more

I've been to this store twice, and I've been disappointed both times. I have no problem with the other workers, but the manager was remarkably rude. When asking about the new Zelda, he scoffed and suggested that I had no idea what I was talking about (girls don't play games apparently). As a nintendo fan and gamer of twenty years, I was slightly offended. He was otherwise unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable when he responded to something I was telling my friend. Why was he listening to my conversation? I felt extremely uneasy and left. Not recommended, and I will not be going there again. Try the one on 104th for a better experience. read more

Went in on a Saturday afternoon nobody in store all of a sudden 5 people showed up, two guys behind the counter one guy just watched as the other struggled to ring everyone up? Very slow service, didn't understand why other guy didn't just open his register and help? Very poor job at this store helping the customer. I won't be coming back here. This is such a disappointment lesson learned I'll be ordering from Amazon from now on. Maybe this GameStop could learn how to train its employees a bit better? To date I have never had a bad experience here. Superb customer service and VERY knowledgable staff. I was able to reserve the store's last copy of The Witcher Wild Hunt for PS4 with ease as opposed to other stores which are generally first come, first serve when it comes to games that are in high demand and limited in quantity. read more

Staff is attentive but a little distracted. Its like every one has ADHD and can't seem to remember if you've been helped or not. Prices are good for used games and they usually have what I'm looking for. There really is nothing to complain about, but it's just another chain store. read more

Sold me a defective used copy of a game, which I didn't check until after the 7 day return was up. My bad on not checking, but the store should be checking discs for damage before reselling it. Like everyone else here, the store manager was not great. Called another GameStop and they told me not to go here and I should've listened. Went in to look at some games and his attitude was really stuck up. He's going to drive the store to the ground with his attitude. You're not that great, you work at GameStop. I have been in this store at least twice in a two week span looking for new games for my daughters Wii this Christmas. Each time I go inside I have questions about which games are best and how to use the controllers etc and each time the people I asked for help were always so very nice and overly willing to explain, show, and demonstrate for me. Maybe its the holiday season but they were very nice. read more

They have a good selection of games. The used prices are too close to the new prices though. And if you're looking for helpful staff that can give advice on particular games you are better off going to a smaller locally owned store. read more
