This Michaels location was very large as usual with everything you could want for an artsy project. Several teaching and school supplies in addition to a huge Halloween section. Purchased some ceramic glue. The staff was friendly and cashed me out quickly instead of using the digital personal checkout machine. Helium balloons for sale here with for about $4.99 - 6.00. Michaels is not the cheapest store to buy crafts and home stuff, but if you catch any of their sales or clearance events, you might be able to get some really good quality stuff for a great price. If you are member of their rewards program, you will get emails with coupons and offers that could be applied to regular priced merchandise. Even if you are not, you can get on their website and they have plenty of coupons that might be of use. If you are 55 or older, you can also get 10% every purchase, including sale items. They need to verify your age, which is done online. I got some home organizing stuff at this Michael's, the look, styles and colors they had were perfect for what I was looking for. Many options. Back to Michael's today to check their Puzzle Inventory and purchase small gift for my grandchildren. I would have liked more choices. I did however like the summer items display that was 50 % off. I managed to purchase some of those. Many displays were on sale. A variety of items had % signs off. It's a great time to shop if you are in need of those items. I always enjoy stopping by Michael's. This store was okay.. they didn't have exactly what we needed, but we did find something we could use instead. There wasn't as much inventory as the Michaels we usually go to on federal highway... but then again,it's been awhile since we were there. It also wasn't the neatest, but we've been in worse. They did have a selection of Halloween stuff at 60 percent off --if you're planning ahead for next year. They were fairly busy, but not overly so. I don't think we'd go out of our way to come here -- but it was right next to the Doris' market so it was convenient, this time. There's ample parking in the lot out front, too. read more

I love coming to Michael's. There is so many things to see. I am a scrapbooker, well I have a scrapbooks and I buy the materials: pages, cricuts, adhesive, stickers etc.but I haven't made much progress in the actual scrapbooking process LOL So come here quite often, I bring coupons but usually most of the things I buy are already on sale which is nice. Needed to pick up some fake flowers for an event. Originally I was next door at the Dollar Store where yes, they would have been cheaper, but I chose to get better quality at Michael's. The store was easy to navigate- I'm not a crafter so I have no idea where things are here but I found what I was looking for easily. The store is well lit and very clean which was nice. Checkout was a breeze and I was able to find a 20 percent coupon online to save even more money. The girl at the register was beyond friendly. This Coral Springs location is not a favorite for the unfriendly, unhelpful store associates I've encountered through the years. That said, when I shop the other location close to me and can't find what I'm looking for, I can usually find it here and that's why I return. I have reviewed this location before a few times and my reviews are fair and forthcoming--maybe that's why they keep removing them. Notwithstanding, they carry an array of products that are useful to my family and me, and they keep the store clean and orderly. Twice I have made online orders for pickup at this location. The website says item will be available for pickup within two hours. It also says you will receive an email when your order is ready. Well, I don't know how long they expect customers to wait until they decide to pack your goods for pickup, but after waiting all day, I'm still waiting. I placed an order for pick up at 7am this morning. It is now 2pm and no email or text yet, so I called the store. The person that answered the phone said they will send me an email when it's ready. To which I replied that I had made the purchase at 7am this morning and the website said it would be ready within 2hrs. Her response to me was to get an attitude and repeat to me that they will message me and That's their policy. Well what about your policy that the order will be ready in two hrs? I guess they think they can just ignore that part. If she had been more professional and just said I'm sorry but we're short staffed or, running behind I would have understood. But that "I'll get to it when I get to it" attitude won't fly. My next phone call will be to the corporate office. I'm not going to bother speaking to a store manager. As for the first time I placed an order at this store for pickup, long story short, I went to the store to pick the order up post about three hours of the online purchase, it wasn't ready. When they went fill the order, some of the items I had already paid for were purchased by someone else because they didn't pull the items off the shelves. So there you go. read more

This review sort of applies to the entire chain. For the most part the Coral Springs location is actually a bit above average. The staff is always pretty efficient, long waits in line are uncommon except around big holidays and even then they move things along pretty well. I only go here when I need something... or my S.O. needs something, & for the most part they hit the mark. They tend to focus on the craftsy side much more than the artsy side, and they have a little bit of just about everything, so they can be super handy. You just have to a) know what you want and b) make sure they carry it. They also tend to have pretty fantastic coupons - so if you need a more expensive crafting item this is the place. Lately I've noticed a trend toward less crafting/art stuff and more retail/seasonal merchandise, which admittedly brings me into the store on its own merits but makes the overall store much more likely to disappoint when I'm on a craft/art/maker mission. They're also somewhat lacking in depth, particularly in the fine art supplies department so I often find myself gravitating toward Blick's or Jerry's Art-o-rama when I have needs of that nature.. Overall, personally I'd rate Michaels in general as "Not terrible..not my favorite place...but often indispensable." If I was a scrapbooker, for instance, I'd probably like Michaels a heck of a lot better! read more

This Location was clean and that is the only positive feedback I have to give in regards to my experience there. A store employee followed me most of the time when I was in there but when I'd turn around to approach her, she went to another area. Religious evangelical music was playing the entire time I was in there. Last time I checked, Michaels isn't a church. It wasn't a religious holiday and the music wasn't holiday related. Just went to Michaels. Got one star service from one employee and five star service from another! There was a big line and I couldn't find any associates besides the cashiers. I walked the entire store looking for a "bone folder" because I have Christmas cards to fold. I asked one employee who laughed at the name of the item I guess because I said "bone" and said she's never heard of it. That was the extent of her helping me. I walked to another cashier and I wish I got her name, because she took out her phone, looked it up and told me it was specifically on aisle 73 the end cap. order# MIK37219511 I ordered 3/26; their website indicated it's in stock. I went into the store 3/27 and it wasn't ready. The cashier said they're busy working on one person's order with 100 items! Later that day, on 3/28, they email me that they're sorry. It's not in stock and they cancelled the order. So here on 3/29, I have an American Express charge from 3/26, but no credit. How is it they can charge me immediately, but then I have to wait for the credit. (In addition to how their website inaccurately indicated it was in stock.) I attempted a chat, but it's with their customers?!? They don't seem to have a communication vehicle for non-orders (other than calling a toll-free #); so no chat & no email? read more

She was sweet and efficient. Got me in and out in no time. This store is smaller than most but packed. Disappointing -- extremely poor customer service!! We were surprised when we wanted to buy one of the remaining 2 pricey artificial Christmas trees left after Black Friday and they refused to hold it for us just until we could come back the next morning to pick it up. We were in the store right before closing and wanted to pay for the tree and then pick it up in the morning in our truck. After the sales clerk checked with the manager she said they could not hold it - even if we paid for it. It is ridiculous - because as soon as we left the store I bought it online and selected "in store pick up" and we came back as we planned and picked it up in the morning. Guess where it was? -- Moved to the front held aside for pick up!! It makes no sense and the manager and clerk should have been better educated about Michael's procedures and been willing to provide better customer service. When I explained to the clerk that one of the online options is "in store pick up" she tried to tell me they would ship it from a warehouse. That was clearly not the case because all of their in store and online trees were marked "out of stock" or "not available for shipping." So the 2 trees left were all that were available within 50 miles. Both the manager and the clerk displayed extremely poor customer service skills and were not the least bit interested in accommodating a very reasonable request given the result was exactly the same. At a bare minimum, the manager should have known and / or suggested we take the online route and that they would then hold the tree aside for us to pick up in the morning rather than simply refusing to hold the tree for us. We will go out of our way to shop elsewhere in the future! read more

Going to Michaels is always fun. There is a wide range of crafts for everyone to enjoy. There are lots of silk and dried flowers, fabric painting and decorating supplies, and plenty of things like paints and canvases. We have found the canvases here to be significantly less than in other places, when you buy them in multi-packs. The store is well organized and the people are friendly. This is one of the first places we check when looking for crafty supplies. read more

This store pretty much has everything you need if you are big on crafting. I walked around looking for something specific however I like to see all the various items they have for crafts that you can make at home. I found yarn... Stickers... Card making material... Things to make wreaths etc... I was going in there for a very specific planner/calendar that you design yourself and I found it on sale. They had a pretty big selection so I had a bit of a time trying to decide what I wanted however I bought a few items to find out later they were on sale as well. They do offer coupons on your receipt when it prints out so make sure to be on the lookout for that. Also they had a ton of holiday items and lots of gift ideas. read more

I hadn't been to Michael's for sometime, They have changed it quite a bit. What used to really bring me there was their florals and the designer who would make the arrangements. It's like one person said, I go there for what I need and then leave. It would be wonderful if they had more classes for the Adults during the summer in the day and during the school year. Terrible! Should have went to Hobby Lobby! Horrible customer service, I was told I cut the line after standing there for 10 minutes when I thought the lines were individual per cashier. Cashier told me (rudely) to go to the back of the line after I already waited my turn and had my two young daughters with me. I said forget it, I left my cart with at least 100 dollars worth of stuff. Cashier didn't even seem phased that I was leaving and unhappy. I've never been treated that way before SO horrible. To top it off carts are tiny like the store and I had to take my 12 month old in and out of two (that were broken) before I found one that would roll! Store is unorganized and clearly they need a designated area or sign that shows where to enter to checkout... The worst experience, I won't go back! read more
