The owners were not helpful at all, telling me to look for myself in the sale area when I asked for assistance to try to find enough of the same chunky yarn to make a scarf to occupy time on a plane ride home. My sister even saw her roll her eyes behind my back. Very unhelpful and condescending. And btw, the store is not wonderful. Their regularly priced yarn is limited compared to NY/NJ stores even with lighter weight yarn. If they were helpful and had such wonderful yarn I would have bought regularly priced yarn to make another garment. They were such a turn off. And they also lost a potential customer in my sister who lives in FL. Having attitude is not how you run a successful business. read more

This is a cute, cozy, friendly yarn shop with lots of beautiful, soft, luscious yarns. I knit mostly for grandchildren and there is a HUGE selection of not-too-expensive, washable yarn that is still rich in wool. My recent experience has been during the time of social distancing, so I've needed a lot of wool. I pop in around once a week and snag a few skeins for a new project. I'm so glad they've stayed open. To me, yarn is as essential as food. read more

Although it's a small shop it has a huge inventory. A wonderful selection of samples throughout the shop with wonderful ideas, and stitches. The two owners, Zana and Ruth are from New York and bring their big personalities to the shop. it's worth checking out, if you're in the area. read more

I was impressed at all their projects once I came through that door. I am a beginner knitter so I was overwhelmed by the many types of yarn! The yarns are a little pricey but they are definitely worth it. It is a lot better than walmart yarn where I was getting most of my yarn from. The owners who run the store, were really welcoming and nice. I was here to get some yarn for my first sweater. I ended up buying some cute pink yarn and really soft purple yarn for a blanket. Phenomenal yarn selection. Fantastic Staff. Their store is a quaint, inviting place. You walk in and you are faced with a beautiful table to sit, relax, knit, and talk. I needed inspiration and Ruth had just what I needed. Her, Zana, and I picked out the best project for my needs and the yarn to accomplish it. I loved their yarns and the samples of knitted shawls, tops etc. it was hard for me to decide what I wanted to knit. My first project was a shawl. I was nearly done and decided to get yarn for another project since I was having surgery. I thought that I would need all my yarn for my shawl and since I was not allowed to drive after my surgery, I had a friend go to the store in February with the unused skein and the receipt. The people who worked in the store insisted that I would need the last skein and wouldn't take the yarn back. I bought the yarn in December. I finish the shawl and had yarn left over from the third skein. Certainly didn't need the fourth skein. I now can drive again and went back to the store the beginning of March. Even though I had the receipt, they would not take and refund the yarn. They said that they had no more re left and that I bought the yarn in December. They should have told me that I had a deadline to return unused yarn. They also advised me incorrectly twice about the amount of yarn that I needed. They should have taken the yarn back in February. They obviously don't know what they are doing and I will be taking my business elsewhere! read more

My sister is in town from out of state visiting for Christmas. She was touring local yarn shops and visited Just Imagiknit and was treated with rudeness and indifference by the staff. Terrible service and not a shop that anyone should patronize. read more

The shop was highly recommended to me by a dear friend. I was overwhelmed by the selection of the many yarns. The staff is very friendly, helpful and most accommodating. Real tug of war shopping here because there aren't a lot of options in the area. This is what struck me the most: there is a new large sign since last I visited that boldy states they adhere to copyright law and that knitters should not request them to copy a pattern from a book or other source. In protecting designers and their livelihood, I agree with this. So the first thing I did was to ask about a sample project and the sales person ran right back to get me the PHOTOCOPIED pattern, from a book I know well, which is offered free with purchase. When I was not interested in using the same yarn the shop sample was made of, the pattern was snatched from me and I was deserted. When I inquired about another pattern, I was snidely told first (as she looked me top to bottom) how much it would cost to purchase yarn for this project. It was obvious she wasn't interested in spending the two minutes it would take to retrieve this information if I balked at the cost. In fact, I'd already known the cost from personal experience. What took me aback was her presumptuous and offensive remark. To this experience, I would simply have to offer the line from the movie "Pretty Woman" --- "Big mistake. BIG mistake." people. I will never return and I will share my experience with everyone. read more
