Turns out this was the place that had been that store but was moved to a less expensive location. The gal working said that store had been owned by her mother -- who was currently working at a show. Meanwhile, I can see that this would have been a very popular place there and will be so here as well. It was located right around the corner from the tea room where my girlfriend and I had lunch. We saw the sign saying $10 jewelry and that brought us in to look. Outside there were a few displays and for $10 there were quite a few intriguing and charming pieces on sale. Inside, the two small rooms also had a few areas where jewelry had been marked down. My girlfriend immediately zeroed in on a pair of earrings and a bracelet that went perfectly with her outfit. The small store has a lot of inventory so you would certainly find something you can't live without! I like a certain type of bracelet and they had four of them! I can't usually wear costume (that is non real gold or platinum) as I'm allergic but I can wear costume bracelets. All four of them were so pretty that I had a hard time deciding which one to buy. Of course, the one I selected wasn't on sale, but I'm not complaining. It was a very good price. I'd definitely come back here in a heart beat. It was fun browsing. And I'm sure I'd find something else to add to my collection. You would too!

This is a not to be missed store in downtown Lake Worth Beach. It has so many different items you…read moremight feel like you are in a museum of unusual things. Yes, there are tourist souvenirs, different gifts, trinkets, and memorabilia. And many of the usual items you'd find -- like t-shirts and jewelry -- but with a unique twist or sense of whimsy or of humor. There are so many different attractive items you won't know where to look first. Then amidst it all are the vintage and collectible items. And even some antiques. There's a back room of vintage clothing, too. Always seeking out a bargain, I found myself sifting through a large sale basket of costume jewelry -- all for only $3 each -- and discovered three items to bring home. We also had a nice conversation with the owner. He told us a bit about his history. I was curious about the mix of new and old items. He told us he even has customers who collect certain things and will approach him to help fill in their collections. What I love most is that I can donate goods that I may have thought about tossing, because someone's garbage is another person's art supply! It's worth going to Resource Depot frequently, because you truly never know what you're going to find or how you're going to be inspired. For instance, I just got a string of lights that I want to hang in a dark corner of my home. I found this amazing ball of thick string and webbed colorful materials that I've now made into a chandelier. Their postcards are also so cool, and inspiring me to make other projects. The staff is always so nice and helpful, and when I've looked for something specific for a project, I've always found someone that is willing to help me out.

As an educator with a limited--or sometimes non-existent--budget, a place like Resource Depot is a lifeline. Schools often can't provide enough supplies for students, and what little remains in the resource closet has to stretch for weeks or months. In the thrift area, I found an incredible variety of affordable items: games, holiday decorations, books, home goods, art supplies, faux florals, ribbons, artwork, and more. The paint alone was worth the trip! If you want to see a child light up, just offer them the chance to paint--fortunately, they had the Crayola washable kind I needed. Shopping is flexible and budget-friendly: a small bin is $5, a large bin is $10, and if you purchase eight large bins, you get one free. Teachers also receive a 15% discount on regularly priced items (not bins). These are prices anyone can afford.
