The owner is the most friendly guy and I once met a lovely friendly woman working too! There is no hand dyed yarn here, instead this shop carries online yarn, but in store. (For example, ICE yarn) There is some Lion Brand and Red Heart, but he carries varieties that I never see in box stores. I love that you can see online yarn in person. Technically it is a tiny more expensive this way, but you save on shipping costs and can feel the yarn in person first! There are also lots of accessories available for sale, and LOTS of books! The owner is also very good about recognizing both knitters AND crocheters! (Unlike some yarn stores..) Overall, I recommend this store. There is SO MUCH yarn inside. Great store! We…read morevisited 4 different quilt shops on this day. This was the second one we stopped at. Obviously, we love visiting quilt shops and stores with fabrics. They have a nice selection of fabrics and accessories. We also loved going through all their clearance items. In addition to fabric and sewing items, they also sell Husqvarna machines and have sewing foot and items for those machines. The cashier was friendly and helpful. We can guarantee that we will definitely be back.

There are many, many shelves and aisles of books - much more than I thought there would be. Both "parts" of the store, the books and the craft, are plentiful. Book 'N' Brush have a great selection of all genres of books - adults, teens, kids - and it's already great to have these selections in a local store. Physical space side of things - the aisles are wide, the shelves are deep, book covers are displayed, top sellers are spotlighted - everything is easy to see and the store is easy to navigate. Ok, where to start. I was looking for some coin "air-tights" and my usual coin shop was closed so i…read moredid a search online for another shop in my area where I found "Bill's Rare Coins" owned by Bill Roark. I called and he said he had about 30. The cost is .50 each. which is close to the going rate. He also said he has a lot of silver eagles if I wanted to take a look. When I got there I realized he had no coin shop he was working out of his house. Working out of his house is not uncommon in this area so it didn't phase me. What did though was the fact that he didn't have air-tights he had 2x2 cardboard flips. he wanted .50 cents each. retail is 100 for $4.00. So not only did he not have a clue what air-tights are he tried to rip me off on the flips. the nerve of some people! Then to top it off he said he had eagles as far back as 1982!! Unless he has a DeLorean with a Flux compactor in his garage there is no way he has an '82 Silver Eagle (They started minting them in 1986) So beware of this guy, he will try to rip you off and he has no clue what he's doing. make sure if you go to him you do you research and inspect everything!!

After inspecting the foundation, and after having every opportunity to ensure his visit would result in some financial gain, he instead leaned on his ethics and took his time to reassure my client, the buyer, that her foundation was not going to be a concern and that it could handle Chehalis's worst. He recommended a sump pump, paid his respects, and left. We paid the man for his time. He was worth every penny of it. Derek earned our trust and respect.
