The shop is a hidden gem with a warm and inviting atmosphere. While Ewe and I is mainly a yarn store, they also have supplies for spinning, weaving, and felting, as well as craft classes. One side of the shop is Shonda's Food Cafe with hand pies, coffee, and baked goods. There are tables where you can sit and eat, but they were all taken when I was there on a Saturday in the late morning. They offer gorgeous yarn, such as the Alp Natural in the photos. The staff is kind and helpful, cheerfully winding my yarn without complaint and talking about possible patterns I could use with the yarn. I wish I lived near this shop so I could visit often.

This rating is a rounding off of the store which deserves 5 stars and the rudeness of the service which deserves 1 star. To begin with -- we loved the store when we first walked on. There are tons of samples of items here including craft things to make and qult designs. However, we were greeted by the owner as we walked up the stairway to one section and told to come down. We were also told where to stand as she decided we needed a history lesson on the location and store. We did not want that or need that. Eventually, we were able to go explore on our own --- which we love to do. My daughter was up going through the bin of clearance items and was "told" several times to move so those there could go get their lunches or whatever. However, the worst part of the experience here was at check-out. Obviously, this store is a place to socialize in town and that's exactly what "Barbara" the sales person was doing at the cutting table. I stood there and stood there and stood there listening to her chat, exchange pictures and discuss goings on. She had long finished with the customer so it wasn't like she was providing the service. When I said something she reached over and asked how much yardage I wanted and went on with the conversation with her friends (they were no longer customers as they had long been waited on). We had to actually make comments to her about finishing up so she could help us. Terrible service. Not sure we will ever be back.

Beginner or more seasoned, there's something here for you. - Fabrics? Plenty of color coordinated, themed quality fabrics; solids, patterned, florals, batiks, watercolors etc. Yep. Quilt Harbor is an easy recommendation for me. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw what I had been missing all this time!! Truthfully, I thought it was more of a craft store than a book store; but I was completely wrong. There are many, many shelves and aisles of books - much more than I thought there would be. Both "parts" of the store, the books and the craft, are plentiful. Book 'N' Brush have a great selection of all genres of books - adults, teens, kids - and it's already great to have these selections in a local store. Physical space side of things - the aisles are wide, the shelves are deep, book covers are displayed, top sellers are spotlighted - everything is easy to see and the store is easy to navigate.
