Horrible customer service. These employees need to take lessons from the Walmart greeters and…read morecustomer service lessons from The Farm Store. I have been there 3 times in the last month to buy fire logs. Only once did a young man ask if he could help and carried the box of 12 out for me. Today I purchased 36, sliced my finger open while loading them into the cart, stood in line waiting while my finger dripped and finally the cashier called to the back to bring out a bandaid. The jerk that brought it out, big guy that has been there for years...didn't even offer to help with the logs. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The good folks at Lincoln Creek Hardware have helped to make them our go-to hardware store!…read more We have always been a locally-preferred type of customer and tried to steer clear of the big box hardware stores whenever possible. Personally, I find The Home Depot and Lowes way too overwhelming and loud. At Lincoln Creek, I feel like I'm walking into the hometown hardware store that I went to with my dad as a kid. With a smiling greeting at the door, a "what can I help you with" attitude, and a friendly, good-natured personality ... Lincoln Creek has it down. Sure, their prices can be a wee bit higher than those mentioned above. However, the staff is very kind and helpful. They all know where items are and don't need to "call" anyone to figure out which aisle something is in. Their selection is pretty darn good for not being a big box store, with me finding pretty much everything I need at each visit. Sometimes they don't have what I need, but it's rare that I can't find an alternative. The best part of the store is Larry and the paint department. Larry is the paint master, being able to match colors perfectly and tinker with the formulas to make them work. They stock B. Moore which is even better. Lastly, they have a very large Lumber department in which you can find most anything that you need. The only section that needs some love and is routinely lacking is the garden/plant section. Their selection of plants, flowers, etc. is pretty sad. All in all though, Lincoln Creek is our first stop. I like it. The kids like it. It's a safe, good place to go. They will keep on seeing our faces there.

If you haven't been to Centralia, and you love looking in antique and vintage stores, go! I was going to stop for a half hour and finally made it back to the car 2 hours later!) Ayala was my place to visit, but I got all turned around and ended up walking all of that area on Tower, which I highly recommend. That said, Ayala what was my favorite of them all. The different stalls are well laid out and not overwhelmingly cluttered. The selection was top-notch, although not cheap. By not cheap I'm not complaining, it was fairly priced. There are gorgeous pieces and the sellers know their worth. The pieces were in good shape and both of the people working were so helpful!

I've spent several weekends now visiting different stores but always stop here. One, they have the friendliest staff. Always smiling and willing to help. Two, they have the best stuff. I was looking for something very particular and found it, my daughter said "I cannot believe you actually found it!" Three, best prices around. I think the people who rent out their booths here know this is the best spot to be. What I bought was priced at $120, online similar items run from $100-$300 before shipping and praying it arrives in one piece.. I am very happy with my antique find! I'll be back over and over again when I feel the need to escape real life and take an adventure back in time. You never know what you'll find!

We had new floors installed in our entire house. It was a 2 month wait, but once things got moving…read morethe company they contracted with (MDT) exceeded our expectations! They arrived on the date stated, and would communicate with us each day what the daily goals were. The men stayed each day until they met their goal. The crew was extremely respectful, honest and knowledgeable in their field. The prep work and installation was done masterfully and to perfection. Our job was not an easy one, as it's an old house with all of the old house quirks. They had to remove a bunch of challenging tile and ensure the floor was level. It was HARD work, and they did it all with smiles on their faces. The energy they brought to the work site each day was truly positive. They even finished a day early! My guard was up due to our other recent contractor experiences that were sub-par at best, but they quickly broke down my barriers, and I was truly sad to see these nice young men go. I would recommend this team of people to others without hesitation.

First off, Home Depot in Chehalis must be the happiest Home Depot I've ever walked in! Smiling faces from everyone. We were on the hunt for the globe Electric LED dinosaur lamp, we checked online and saw that they had 8 left. When we got to the store, they didn't have them on the shelf but the young man that worked there, his name was JOSE, asked if we were looking for something (yeah we looked lost) He checked and noticed that they came in today and he went to check! He came back with a box and handed one over! He made my daughter so happy and his customer service was 5 Star! Above and beyond! From now on when I need anything from Home Depot, this will be the store I shop at! Overall one of the best experiences I had in a hardware store, and I'm in the middle of remodeling my house, so what does that tell you! Thank you Home Depot Chehalis! Ps: It's super easy to find too, right off the i5 and had plenty of parking! Another Plus!

Holy Cow! What a bunch of stuff there is in this store!…read more As anyone that has frequented or passed through downtown Centralia, you know that there is no shortage of antique shops. There are some good ones and there are some poor ones. Timeless Treasures is on the above average side of the fence. To be perfectly honest, there is SOOO much stuff in this shop that it can be overwhelming to browse. For me, it was that and I got a wee bit discombobulated by the sheer amount of product that they have. Now ... that's not to say that it isn't worth going to or isn't worth searching around; it's just that there is a lot to look through. Unfortunately, it is not very well organized and is extremely cluttered. When I have more time to look around and see what I can see, I will come back and take my time going through the aisles and shelves and tables. One display, up front, that I was particularly interested in (and I have a picture included to show part of it) was the baseball card collection and binder! Growing up, I collected hundreds of baseball cards and loved looking through them and memorizing the stats of my favorite players. Their ginormous binder of cards brought back many fond memories for me!! :-) With owners/managers that are extremely friendly & kind and prices that are reasonable & fair, I do recommend Timeless Treasures to anyone that has time to look through their stock and an eye for that "treasure" that strikes your fancy! I'll be back ... you should too!

If you've come for something specific, find the appropriate pile/section and dig in! If you just came to look, you're gonna be here a while! We were barely acknowledged as we wandered through the labyrinthine collection, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as we didn't come in with anything in mind. Most objects were clearly labeled with a price, although I struggled to find tags on some of the books I was perusing in the upstairs area, which could be better organized, honestly; I found a few semi-intriguing titles scattered throughout, but they were not grouped together in any meaningful way, as far as I could tell, turning the whole process into a scavenger hunt. All that being said, this is probably the most exhaustive collection of antiques (sans furniture) in Centralia, so if you're up for excavating your way through layers of yesteryear's treasures, this is your best bet in the area!
