It was a wooden pumpkin decoupaged with napkins and flowers. So cute that I signed up. All crafting classes are held in the back room of Gnomes Plus More once a month. You can also host a private crafting event in your own home, work. Laura has even led a class in a coffee shop! Tonight I showed up and my artsy side came to life. The table was already set up with my pumpkin and bins for scissors, foam brushes and modge podge. We were instructed to look through bins of napkins, floral stems, thick string, bows, and wooden words. Once everyone was settled with their selections, we got to work. Laura was great at helping you with your craft project. Letting your creative wheels turn without overtaking it with her vision. It was a fun night being creative with others and meeting new people.

The to pick it up your finished project a week later like it's a surprise is super fun. I just wish it was so expensive!!! It cost my son and I almost $100 just to do two medium sized items. I would have given them 5 stars but the daytime staff were not helpful and acted annoyed when I'd get up and ask them for more paint which is what they told me to do. Half the time they sat at a table gossiping. The evening crew that came in was great. They immediately checked in with us and were super helpful and kind. Good customer service goes a long ways. Especially when you're dropping that much $$$.

The craft workshops are fun for any group, regardless of age. Kids birthday parties, bachelorette parties, co-worker bonding, or moms who drink wine on Thursdays. Registrations are set up on the website. Supplies are provided. Wording on theme is discussed with Jessica. She offers a variety to choose from... something similar to "Paint A Pallet". All affordable. You make it, paint it and take our home. A Time To Inspire is also a boutique. Crafts on one side of the store, shopping on the other. Fashion for all sizes, even curvy (aka plus size). Jewelry too... earrings, necklaces and rings... all from local artists. If you don't have time to be crafty, you can purchase a premade sign. I've been going to this hobby store since the 1980s when I was just a kid, going there with my late father. It was one of those places that helped build a lifelong love for RC cars and the hobby itself. Now, decades later, I genuinely enjoy taking my own children there and sharing that same experience with them. It's something really special to me and my family. That's why this situation has been so hard. I dropped off an RC truck for repair and expected it might take some time. What I didn't expect was how long it actually took -- months and months passed while I waited. Eventually, when I called to check on it, I was told the truck had already been surrendered after 90 days. That news was absolutely heartbreaking. This wasn't just a piece of equipment to me. It was something I had invested a lot into and something tied to years of enjoyment in this hobby. I understand that businesses have policies, and I don't doubt they have rules in place, but learning about it only after the fact made the loss feel even worse. What makes this especially difficult is that I truly love this store. It's been part of my life story from childhood to now as a parent. I honestly can't imagine not going there anymore, and that's what makes this situation so emotionally complicated for me. I'm not posting this to attack anyone. I'm just really torn and hurt by how this played out, and I wish there had been more communication before it reached that point.
