Totally exceeded my expectations. Wow. Andy knows what he's doing, and helped me pick out the best frame and mat for a beloved print. (And, he nailed the combo on the first try. I asked to look at some other options and it was clear that they weren't right.) He answered all my questions and helped me understand the options. I learned a lot! I guess that's what they call customer service. Who knew??! The only other comparison I have for framing is a large craft store where I've had a few things framed, and they weren't nearly as helpful or knowledgeable - and they cost more. I was determined to not go back to the craft store for this job, and somehow lucked out and found Art and Frame World in my own backyard! So, now I (and my family and friends) have a framing place!

Andy is amazing!! I should have written this review when I got 3 wine map posters framed last…read moreyear, but now I have to write a review because of the continued customer service Andy provided. A year ago, he was very helpful in selecting the frame, timeline was reasonable, and price was fantastic. I was expecting to pay a lot more than I did! Fast forward a year and Andy continued his wonderful customer service. The 3 framed pictures were placed on a wall in our basement. It turns out the humidity was not great down there so the prints started to ripple under the glass. I took them to Andy to see if he could fix them. I was ready to pay to have them fixed since it was my fault, but he insisted that I wouldn't be paying anything. He said, "This is what we do." Andy's team took the frames apart and tried flatting them. Unfortunately, they are too rippled, but I appreciate Andy's willingness to help me try to fix them. Big lessons learned: 1) watch the humidity level in your basement if you have framed prints and 2) ANDY ROCKS!! I two thumbs up. I highly recommend Andy and his shop. Lots of selection, great prices, fantastic service. He is in fact MN nice!!!

Lily Pad Ceramics - I actually made this... well, painted this pretty coffee cup.

I would NOT recommend this place for a birthday party! First, It's way too small. Every party I've…read moreever had for my kids have offered help or done everything. That's why you pay more to not have it at your house right!? They offered very little help and only when asked. They did not greet us when we came in, but yelled at the kids for walking around the studio while waiting for parent pickup. (There isn't enough room to walk around. But there isn't enough room to huddle at the door either.) They had multiple birthday parties and were out of everything in the price range I had selected. You would think they would be prepared for parties...and we were the first of the 3 I saw! Fun to go here, but not as a birthday party...definitely not worth the money I spent!!!

I think they recently expanded their solids/blenders area which is nice (lots of grunge!). My review is mostly for the class I took - the quilted sneakers. Lisa G. was an AMAZING instructor - super nice and helpful and encouraging. The space set up was awesome - plenty of light, nice work spaces with adjustable chairs and tables, easy access to power and design walls. Its smallish (I think limited to 8) but so very nice. I will definitely check out some of the open sew times and other classes. I also love the "rewards" program. I always have a couple of bucks I can throw towards my next purchase. They do carry some interfacing, foam and notions, but with the loss of Joann I'd love to see more (more thread for sure, more zippers and thingamabobs). And more evening hours!

The clerks, especially Coleen, were all helpful and friendly. I happen to mention that I have some things I needed to sew on a machine and do they rent a machine for a few hours?? YES !!! And very inexpensively. I signed up, went back a few days later, and got help setting my project up. Colleen could not have been a better helper. I was so pleased. I plan to tell my needlework group about this store and will definitely return--again and again. Thanks Tiny Apple. You are all about GREAT customer service and satisfaction!
