My first Hobby Lobby visit today! I went in in search of a Franklin Day Planner Cover. Yes, I still use those even in the days of the smart phone! My old one has worn out and I couldn't find one in Office Depot or Staples, to just buy just a cover. I checked online and it said that Hobby Lobby likely carries them.. So my first visit today in search for a cover. And no, I couldn't find one, even though I came across other binder covers that could probably work...but they were too bulky :-( I was surprised how big this store was and that it carried a wide variety of merchandise though. Even though I didn't find the Day Planner Cover I was in search of, I did end up buying some office supply nick knacks that can come in handy someday.... I don't know if I will back, since this store is a little out of the way for me, but it was an interesting field trip! read more

Terrible store ever No customer service the store was full of people lots of items on the floor with empty shelf and very disorganized throughout the store Also some broken pieces in the store too All cashiers are slow in general and does not know how to wrap and pack fragile items you will also have to wait in the cashier line for over 30 minute and the cashier was not care about your time and ignored you. the manager saw so many people waiting in line and did nothing but standing around there were a few customers waiting in line for a long time and she did nothing I also wanted to report the guy name Davon how disrespectful he was. To be honest, I feel like the name Hobby Lobby sounds cheap, but this place is a utopia for wanna be crafters and designers like me! It took me 33 years to step into this place and that was way too long. This place is like Michaels on steroids. That's the only way I can really describe it. Go here for anything craft related, scrap booking, yarn, artwork for your home or decorations. Cute, up to date pieces in the design section and you can almost always get 50% off without a coupon. My most recent project was buying containers for homemade soy wax candles. I did have a friend who told me she won't shop here because it's Christian-based (which you can definitely notice when you see all the Bible verse framed art). No one is serving communion or anything so if that doesn't bother you it's worth checking out as you prep for your next project. It's not all crafty stuff, but great home decor at a reasonable price. The store has a nice layout and the merchandise is displayed well. It is easy to get there as its right off of 94! This is a typical Hobby Lobby, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. Long lines on every register, and the cashiers were very slow. After waiting in line nearly 20 minutes it was finally my turn to check out when I was abruptly told that the cashier was closing. The cashier saw that I was visibly shocked, I had waited a very long time and was cutting it close to missing an appointment, and she responded with a shake of her head and said "I can't keep going". There were no other registers opening to accommodate the customers who had been waiting a long time only to be told that the cashier "couldn't keep going". Our only choice was to get in the back of one of the many other very long lines. My advice is to avoid this location altogether, but if that's not possible, get in line to check out a good hour before you think you need to leave. read more

I have been to this location multiple times. It's usually quite busy and lines can be very long. However, the selection of flower arrangements are fabulous! They offer so many different products. Their prices are decent (depends on what you buy), but they usually have a few sales -(50% off pictures, frames, bouquets, etc. is what I saw today). It's a fun store to just peruse as well. You'll get great ideas for home decor and home projects by just looking at the merchandise. A small tip: make sure to ask the check-out staff to use tissue to wrap certain items. My cashier put a glass frame into a plastic bag during check-out while I wasn't paying attention. Partially my fault (luckily it didn't break!). This Hobby Lobby is my go-to for any craft supplies or home decor needs. Their prices are exceptional and they have a wide variety of options. My only irk is that they tend to be a little understaffed-every time I am shopping here I find myself waiting 3-5 minutes minimum to check out, and there is often only one person working a register. Finding someone to answer questions can also be difficult at times. read more

LOVE the selection here! Had this store in the south and glad it's here now. Lots of home decor selection... they have everything you could want! Fabric, frames, baskets, small furniture, holiday decor, craft supplies, wall decor, mirrors... Lines can get long here and their register system seems archaic in comparison, so the staff punches in prices of everything and takes longer. No problem with returns with receipt. Terrible customer service. Went to make a return. Stood in line for 10 min. Two other registers opened up but instead of taking the next person in line they took whoever noticed first. After waiting 10 min I was told I was in the wrong line. Had to go wait another 10 min in a different line. Cashier didn't know what to do since I didn't have the invoice. Asked two others. Third woman was very abrupt and said They can't accept it because it was an online order. No apology, nothing. Then all three ignored me and started talking about scheduling. I love, love, love hobby lobby. Prices are better for many things than other craft store. Awesome selection and so much fun stuff in the store. My only complaint is that no matter when i go there is always a long line to check out- my guess is this is because employees have to type in item numbers instead of scanning them; also, they are frequently having to look items up when price tags are missing. read more

I went to the Maple Grove HL to have an oil painting stretched and mounted -was precious so was nervous. Jules did and outstanding job! Super friendly, super careful, triple checked everything to be sure all was measured right. turned out GREAT. Have got back to have same done, same great experience, on two more paintings. Customer service was not the best experience for assistance or consideration. Was on the pricey end and very strict with time window for returns (wedding rentals equipment) vs Broadway rental where I have gone before. Would be nice to see more smiles, felt odd it being a Christian themed store & employee's (not a one of them) could not smile or have a gracious greeting.
