The owner left tree pieces he was supposed to haul away. I saw him add them to a pile of cut trees we already had. They just ran over things that were in their way instead of asking us to move them, breaking things like yard stakes where I didn't want vehicles to park anyway. They damaged a lot of smaller trees that I asked them to avoid just running into them with their equipment. I do not recommend this company. The only good thing about it was the price.

There was very little room for error and the Mitchell Tree & Stump Service, Inc. did a fantastic job. I've used them several times before and they never let me down. Eugenio Cruz and his team showed up at 9 a.m. and were finished by 2 p.m., with an hour lunch break in between. They not only took down the 4 trees but also pruned another tree in the backyard, grounded up branch debris, hauled off numerous tree logs, and grinded the stumps into sawdust. They start by removing lower limbs and putting them in the wood chipper. Then with the bucket truck and ropes they took the tree down from top to bottom. They are experienced and dropped each limb and tree section safely. They knew exactly where they wanted it to fall and made it happen. They took down two very big trees- one in front and one in back which entailed removing wooden fence to get truck and equipment through. The stumps were ground down and everything was cleaned up and removed. The fence was put back up and my property looks so much better. The crew was prompt and on time. Jeffrey at Branching Out Tree Services did not complete the job and stole money from my neighbors…read more I hired him to remove bamboo and he provided a written guarantee to come back and remove any bamboo that kept growing. He did not honor that guarantee and never came back. I relied on that guarantee when choosing this company. He said the job would take him one week and it took almost three weeks. He gave serveral excuses as to why he would show up late and not at all. It has been 6 weeks of asking him to come back and he has not sent anyone to remove the remaining bamboo. The bamboo returned within 2 weeks of his poor removal job. He left so many roots behind and just covered it up with top soil. It all grew back. He does not know how to perform this job correctly. He did not fulfill my neighbors contract, such as like lay grass seed and remove roots below her deck. He also charged my neighbors credit card twice on 2 different payment systems and refused to return any money. He even told her he wouldn't come back if she tried to cancel one of the payments he had already gotten. Jeffrey took a check from my other neighbor who hired them to plant bushes and trees and 2.5 months later still hasn't talked to them about providing that service.
