I just wanted to pass this on to anyone who might be looking for tree removal services. I recently had 4 very tall trees removed between my house and my next door neighbor's home. There was very little room for error and the Mitchell Tree & Stump Service, Inc. did a fantastic job. I've used them several times before and they never let me down. Eugenio Cruz and his team showed up at 9 a.m. and were finished by 2 p.m., with an hour lunch break in between. They not only took down the 4 trees but also pruned another tree in the backyard, grounded up branch debris, hauled off numerous tree logs, and grinded the stumps into sawdust. Mitchell Tree & Stump Service were fantastic! The whole crew were professional, courteous, friendly, considerate, thorough and incredibly efficient. They cut down our tree, stumped it, removed two piles of tree matter, chipped everything, cleaned up thoroughly, and left in just over an hour. We used another service previously to take out some trees and top another couple and they were not half as good in every regard. They took ages, didn't operate as safely, and left a bit of a mess. Mitchell's tree knowledge was very good and helped us out with info on a tree the service topped that had started to die. Their safety protocols were extremely impressive, and they left our property much better than how they found it. We got to chat with the owner-operator, and found out he is ex-military - and it showed. He said he's been doing this for over 2 decades and still loved it, and believed in operating with integrity. Mr. Mitchell got back to me quickly after I sent a message via Yelp. He was a little late arriving but had called to let me know he would be and I understood (it was a really busy time for traffic on the nearby main road) He talked me through my concerns with my tree, and as it turns out there was nothing wrong with it at all - just didn't get enough light at one side. So he showed me places I could trim to improve its health, and gave me advice on how to do it. He charged me nothing for this advice and the call out, as it would have really been unnecessary.
