Excellent service. Great and very professional job. Scott was on top of the entire job and kept me well informed. My oak was around 80' tall and 7-8' across at the base. It was completely wrapped in poison ivy vines that were 2" thick. Funny part here is Scott said he had passed by my shop many times and seen the tree with broken branches around it and knew it was a problem before I even called him. It was a battle getting it down but Scotts experienced crew knocked it out. Best tree service I have ever had. Highly recommend them if you need tree work. Price was great as well. A company that truly goes above and beyond in their service! We initially called Scott and asked for an estimate because we wanted to make sure an area above a future generator install site was clear of dangerous branches. While he was here giving an estimate, we asked for several separate estimates (due to a need to break up costs for us) for taking down dangerous trees and for removing twenty years of tree limb debris. We have a back yard that is an acre of basically woods, but we need to begin keeping it clear to cut down on tick, mosquito, termite, snake and rodent habitat. We are getting older, and managing leaves has become impossible with all the tree limbs and branches that come down each year. The spouse will not agree to cut down a lot of the trees, so we needed to get some clean up done. Scott was on time for the estimate and sent us an estimate via email afterwards with everything broken down just the way that we asked him to do. He also presented his certificate of insurance. Scott was reasonable enough in the estimate, that we decided to go ahead and have him do all of the work all at once. He also provided a military discount, which was kind and helpful. His estimate was somewhere in the middle of the six to eight that we got, so his demeanor and professional attitude along with the pricing is what made him our choice. Scott does not use spikes while climbing the trees, and proudly says so on his web site. That was also a deciding factor for us. The work was scheduled to take three days total. Scott and a helper came out and took down nine trees for us and trimmed dangerous branches off several more. Some of the trees were right next to our house, and these were taken down with no issues. One of the trees was a dead tree that my husband was going to fell himself but did not get to. Scott also cut up and removed a dead tree that the husband DID fell but never finished cutting up and removing. When it came time to finish up the job and grind down stumps and remove the yard waste, he did so with the aid of his very hard working daughter, and they did a fabulous job! I really cannot say enough nice things about this company. By the time they left, we felt like family (the good kind) had gone after a short visit, and we were going to miss having them around taking care of us. Good people! read more

At first we were a bit hesitant about an overall review rating of "5", but now we can see why the ratings are as good as they are. I can't say enough positive things about Scott and his crew. Scott is extremely knowledgeable and fascinating to listen to about trees. After he came out to give an estimate, and we talked a while; we had no doubt that this is the company we needed. I had a tree that was dying and needed to be removed. While the tree was quite tall, it wasn't that big of a tree and was a fairly small job. I called Scott and he came out quickly, gave us a quote that was quite reasonable, and he was able to do the work fairly soon after providing the estimate. It's apparent that they've invested in their equipment and used a lift to remove the tree quickly and safely. Their attention to detail was great, saving a baby squirrel that had nested in the tree, and cleaning up the site to where you wouldn't have known the tree was ever there (except for the stump of course). Brad did a great job taking down an oak tree that was leaning dangerously close to our house. From pictures I sent, he could tell the tree was affected by a fungus, and would soon be completely dead. His estimate was reasonable, and he was very responsive. read more

We had Scott and Brad remove 5 trees from our yard and we cannot say enough great things about the job they did! During their time at our house it rained most of the days and they really took their time to make sure our yard looked wonderful once they were done. They really worked hard while they were here.
