From the start, he ensured clear communication of expectations. Even though we decided not to pursue his service (nor any other company's) he provided us with alternative options to care/maintain our brick walkway. We truly value his fair and honest approach and assessment of our situation. He definitely is one of the most honest and honorable businessmen we have interacted with in over 30 years of homeownership. That is a quality that is hard to find nowadays. Without reservation, we will call King Kreations in the future for any of our masonry needs.

This is the second project Ken and his crew have done for us. After a truly superb fireplace built…read morelast fall, we got on the schedule early and Empire replaced all of the brick on the front of our house with similar stone as the fireplace. We could not be happier with the results. The finished project is even better than we hoped it would look. Easy to work with, always responsive, I have no reservations recommending Empire Masonry.

My husband and I recently purchased a home in Virginia. During the home inspection, some cracks…read morewere noticed on the exterior portion of the chimney. Empire masonry was called out to do a second inspection. Upon their inspection, We were quoted the repairs would be a total of $2250.00 and three days of work. Because of this estimate, we negotiated the repair costs as a credit to purchase the home. Approximately one month later, we attempted to schedule the repairs. We were told that within the one month from the time of the first inspection to scheduling repairs, there were more cracks and far more repair work that needed to be done. We were told that "it was a mistake" on the first quote. Empire masonary was completely unwilling to honor the first quote or even negotiate a new quote. They claimed they did not need a yelp review, however, we feel that the way they handled their "mistake" was extremely unprofessional. We negotiated repairs based on their quote and went into the home purchase trusting their professional opinion. Empire masonary seriously dropped the ball, and left us scrambling to find another company. We now do not know what kind of repairs costs we are even looking at to repair the chimney because of such a poor inspection.

Elizabeth offered some brilliant suggestions for the design that was effective and would help control the water flow that included a retaining wall with integral drain. The crew was professional and hard-working. Beyond the hardscape, the sodding and seeding exceeded my expectations. I did my due diligence and got proposals from 4 companies, but in my opinion no one else offered the creativity and attention to detail that was evident in B&S's proposal. And their price was very good too. I would gladly hire them again.

If i could give less than 1 star, I would. This Company does NOT stand behind their work. I spent…read moreover $5000 on my yard with this company and I am left with a flooding mess. I called them out to look at the fact that their work was substandard and to point out the issues. The "foreman" (Dennis) said to me, after not being able to explain the issue, "well you signed the contract!" They put down some "compact dirt" and I never heard from them again. I have flooding and apparently zero drainage. I WOULD NOT trust them with a potted plant. If anyone wants to take a look at their work in my backyard, let me know - it speaks for itself! Business Owner Response: Yes, I did say that at that time and Dennis also said that they would follow-up after "adding compressed dirt." After his dismissive comment when I asked your company to look at what was not corrected, which your quality assurance person witnessed, that did not leave me with a feeling that anything would be done if I initiated contact again. You are free to come and see what it is going on now. Yes it was done in 2021 and we have been dealing with it ever since. We spend a huge amount of money and went by guarantees that Denis himself made about how this would all be fixed and it is obviously not. Everything was explained to him when he did the estimate, nothing changed but when he did the work and I brought the issue to his attention rather than addressing the issue, the response was, "well you signed the contract." I am happy to discuss further, if you would like. To be clear, I did not wait "almost two years:" your foreman and "quality" person came out shortly after the work was done. Your Foreman was very unprofessional and dismissive with his "you signed the contract" comment. That does not give the impression that you are concerned with trying to correct anything. Apparently, that was not reported to you by him or your quality assurance person.

My expectations were surpassed by the quality of workmanship and dedication each member of there crew's performance. The attention to detail was amazing. From covering my inground pool with plastic sheet to prevent possible cement falling to the bottom, covering the house with plastic sheet to prevent cement splash from hitting my siding to covering the base of my 6 x6 upper deck support beams with tar based post sleeves. Most importantly, I took down two sections of fence so equipment would be able to access my back yard. I went outside to dig a hole for a new fence post that needed replacing. As I began to dig, one of the workers, on his lunch break, came to me and volunteered to dig the hole for me. These are workers that take pride in there job and are happy to be working for this company. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his wife and completely understand why this is such a successful company. Please give them a try on your next project.
