Across three visits, Dr. Meyer was consistently unprofessional and intimidating. He refused to let me ask questions, demanding only 'yes' or 'no' answers, and became visibly irritated when I tried to explain my symptoms. During a punctal plug procedure, he applied drops directly into my eyes without warning. At my follow-up, he removed a plug without consulting me and grew annoyed when I asked for clearer explanations due to my language barrier. I felt pressured by his aggressive push for me to 'upgrade' to eye surgery, which came across as a focus on financial gain rather than my actual medical needs. He ended the appointment with a dismissive religious gesture that felt highly inappropriate in a medical setting. I felt unsafe, disrespected, and poorly cared for. I strongly advise against supporting this business.

I had an appointment for an eye exam specifically for cataracts. The woman at the front desk did…read morenot greet me with a "hello" or any sort of normal courtesy. I met with Dr. Meyer and basically had the same experience. No greeting. I found his demeanor to be dismissive when I asked questions. Perhaps they are too busy to extend courtesy to potential patients. The bright spot in my visit was Ryan, the person who performed the basic tests on my eyes before I saw the doctor. He was efficient, kind and knowledgeable. I will find another facility to handle my eye care.

This is a very knowledgeable and thorough doctor and you can tell he truly cares about his…read morepatients. During the exam he made sure he didn't miss anything. He can change the lens as many times as you want during the exam to make sure you don't walk out with something wrong. He provides cost effective options for the patient when it comes to contacts and was the only one who figured out my prescription for glasses after going to so many clinics and wasting my time. I received the eye care exam prescription on beautiful hard copy cards you can place in your wallet and not lose. I was surprised by amount of care and detailed work they put in to make sure the patient feels comfortable. Sadly, I can't go back there again, as he doesn't take my insurance. Otherwise, beautiful nice and very clean office. They're using the latest equipment, everything looked new inside. Free parking in front of the building so your car doesn't stay on the street and easy access for people who can't walk that far.

Well, this place got me twice but won't happen again. I am kind of new to eyeglasses meaning I…read morehave only been wearing them for 5 years. Went in for to get an exam for eye glasses last year and was over charged but paid it and let it go. This year I forgot what happened and went back there again. Need an exam so I can get a new prescription. They gave me an exam and charge me a co-pay of $40. Then a week later I get a bill for another $80. Today I Iooked at my insurance coverage and it states $15 co-pay and the rest is covered. I call them and ask if they are part of the Davis Vision Insurance they say yes. I explain what happen this year and last. They say oh, your got a MEDICAL eye exam. I say ok, I will pay it and wont be back. They know what they are doing taking advantage of people. I went there for an exam so I could get eye glasses. I guess there is a reason why there Yelp rating is low. They seem very nice while they are taking advantage of you. Irritating. This actually is pissing me off the more i think about it. SO I'm back adding more. My Davis vision paperwork shows EYE EXAM is co-pay of $15. That is what I asked for. I did not ask for a MEDICAL EYE EXAM. Fortunately, I can afford to be scammed by these people, but what about those that are elderly or don't have a lot of extra cash for this type of BS. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Can't believe it I back again for another edit. I remember last year they asked me how I found them. I said I looked them up on the Davis Vision website. I like to go out of my way and to give smaller business my $'s instead of the big box stores. Sometimes that does not turn out like one would hope.
